So it comes to me yet again to build the party arcane user(I actually enjoy it so it works) and I have been tasked with an Int based caster for carrion crown(I have already played this through with another group and the GM is aware of this). The last time I used a master summoner. Anyway this time I want a versatile blaster and was leaning toward sage blooded sorcerer with the varisian tattoo variant, any suggestions? I am trying to avoid witch and wizard, they are too easy and I also just played a necromancer to level 16 in a legacy of fire campaign.
As the title says, looking to play a charmer/compulsion with also summoning goodness as well, basically I'm tired of my current groups inability to function at any task other then killing, so I am taking it on my shoulders to do all out of combat encounters and then prevent them from going on a killing rampage (please see my post in the Carrion Crown AP section for further description). I was thinking Rakshasa, maybe serpentine although I don't like the spells as much or the abilities, going to make a human for the racial and will do the eldritch heritage feat line along with augment summoning as well, thoughts and suggestions please!
So my group ended up attacking the elder in Morast and killed everyone in the village except 1 lowly village and currently I put the elder to sleep so I could attend to wounded, horrible intimidation tactic that went wrong, anyway, how do we overcome this and get the info we need to help the beast? (our cha characters (bard, summoner) could not RP or focus enough to bluff or diplomacy the elder since no one listens and yadda yadda yadda...)
So I would like to make a lvl 5 charm focused sorcerer for an upcoming game which will continue on(smugglers shiv), I was thinking a teifling with the infernal bloodline but I may do a dual blooded with fey as well, I took fiendish heritage feat and rolled a +2 cha(mostly why I want to be a sorcerer to take advantage of the 22cha). Basically make people do what I want with ridiculous bluff, diplomacy and also charm person. Advice?
So my gaming group is starting this AP and it will be 3 of us(GM and 2 players running 2 characters each). The other player is bringing a Paladin and a Wizard of somekind (I usually run the casters as most everyone else we game with like the melee types, this will be his first wizard) and I am bringing a Ranger(Treantmonk's switch hitter and using the skirmishing kit with prefered enemy human) and either a oracle of life or a witch, the question is which should I bring or any other suggestions would be great. Please no spoilers though.
So I will be playing in a gestalt campaign soon and was looking for some advice, 1 class has to be pathfinder base and the other has to be 3.5 base, all other gestalt rules apply, so I was thinking wizard/archivist or a psionic warrior/monk, does anyone have anymore advice? It will be a 25 point buy and I can argue for most races and possibly a level adjust. Thanks!
The group I game with is starting a Pathfinder society campaign and no one else wanted to be arcane (we have a Bard but nothing else arcane). I cannot decide between the 2, Sorcerers while not as versatile are much better socialy as opposed to the Wizard who has so much more versatility couldn't talk his way out of a paper bag (at low levels). I'm torn between a Gnome Sorcerer or an Elven Wizard, any help out there?
My gaming group and I are starting a pathfinder society campaign soon and I have decided on a negative energy focused human cleric, taking the sacred conduit trait, improved channeling and selective channeling for feats, the problem is I cant decide on a god with class abilities and spells I like for 2 domains. There is the option of not having a god but just a divne code or whatever, but I think I read in the archives that it isnt an option in the pathifinder society for that. Any recommendations for a god or domains that would compliment well? BabaPulg has not participated in any online campaigns. |
