Backstory: When Damian was just 9 weeks old his pack was attacked by a pair of extremely powerful phase spiders killing every last one of his pack, the only reason Damian survived was because not even 5 minutes before the attack he was chasing a rabbit and had gotten him self stuck in a hollowed area beneath the roots of a tree , he however was very close by and could hear the attack and see some of the attack. Unable to escape the hole Damian could do nothing but hide and wait for it to end. After about an hour he began to cry for help and the roots of the tree seemed to part in front of him and as he climbed out he looked around at all the chaos that had ensued. Damian couldn't stand to be there any longer and just started running and he felt like he would never stop. After a few hours of running it was very dark there started to be less and less trees until he no longer could see any at all, shortly after he collapsed from exhaustion. In his sleep he could faintly feel a warm embrace and a strong breeze running through his fur. He woke up the next day in some place strange that he had never seen before surrounded by what seemed to be wood, he could have easily escaped but he felt some strange comfort being here. Damian examined the place he was in there seemed to be large wooden things allover the place in interesting designs that made no sense to him, when suddenly he herd a loud thump followed by a lot of smaller thumps and he hid under the nearest thing. A small boy walked in to the room and started saying things that Damian didn't understand and then a hand reached out and grabbed him squeezing Damian up against him, an embrace he was certain he had felt before, this boy would become his best friend over the next few years his name was Jake. Damian stayed at this new place, making it his home and he spent every day following Jake around and enjoying the things he did, Jake had a father that people called Eric he was the blacksmith. Damian grew up with Jake and they often went on adventures hunting rabbits and slaying mole kings. 22 years past and Hunting rabbits and slaying mole kings became more then just a hobby, Jake and Damian became part of the hunters for the town while Jake learned blacksmithing during morning adventuring during the afternoon and hunting during the night, one day however this all changed. Jake and Damian woke up early to day because they were very exited to explore some tunnels they found the previous day that went under the town, after Jake hurriedly did his morning routine they rushed to the entrance they had found and begone exploring. After a few hours of unfruitful exploring and deciding they were lost they played fetch for an hour or so but one time Jake threw the stick pretty far down a passage way and as Damian chased after it he herd Jake exclaim that he had found something. Damian then picked up the stick and ran back to where Jake was but to his dismay Jake was nowhere to be seen. Damian followed Jake's sent but it just ended at one point in the deeper sections of the tunnels and Jake wasn't there. Unable to find Jake, Damian ran back to town to try to bark at Eric until he followed, Eric and Damian spent the rest of the day and the night exploring the tunnels trying to find Jake with no luck, and they went back to town the next day. Eric stayed in the house for several days after that with Damian comforting him, and then Eric wrote a letter to the pathfinder society telling them about the tunnels beneath the city and that his son had gone missing.
well I'm not the dm so ill let him rebut but he is doing the things he is doing for a reason we may not know and to me it seems like you are just unnecessarily upset about something that has nothing to do with you seeing how you don't want to play because he changed a few things that don't make that much of a difference and you are too but hurt to change a few things that you are used to because you need your safety blanket. what I'm saying is that if you don't want to play then why are you posting in this feed? also a lot of the things you are saying don't apply to your argument and some things that are opinions stated as facts and others are incorrect, again I'm not going to specify because you are arguing with the dm and its his place.
Extremely interested, going to go for a blink dog I'm interested to see what can be done with a character without hands I will post the stats at a later point in time, im going for a focused damage dealer probably slayer i still need to read up on the class abilities and here is my back story Damian: When Damian was just 9 weeks old his pack was attacked by a pair of extremely powerful phase spiders killing every last one of his pack, the only reason Damian survived was because not even 5 minutes before the attack he was chasing a rabbit and had gotten him self stuck in a hollowed area beneath the roots of a tree , he however was very close by and could hear the attack and see some of the attack. @fnord72 get over yourself, if you don't like what lein is doing you don't have to submit a character. He said multiple times that he is testing some things and also that this is homebrew he is going to be the dm and this is his campaign he can run it however he wants. I don't know how you got that stick up your ass but you don't have to be here.

Backstory:
Keth never met his parents. More than a decade of his early life, he doesn’t remember. His first memories were of Haleen, the girl that protected and raised him as he was growing up. She told him that she didn’t know where he came from, but that she’d found him, small and hungry and crying in a gutter. She’d taken him in, fed him what she had (which wasn’t much). Up until he began adolescence, he was much like all of the other children that stayed on the streets with them, if a little beefier, but as soon as puberty began to hit, Keth’s body changed. His skin grayed, and thickened. He stopped growing vertically, and he became much stouter than the other boys. In addition, things started happening. Things happened that he didn’t quite understand. Once, when running from a Katapesh city guard, loaf of bread in hand, the ground around him cracked and broke into jagged shards, which he leapt over but the guards had to take several moments to navigate around, buying him time for his escape. Haleen had always told him that he was special, but this…this was something different. Despite these changes, life was good for Keth and Haleen. That is, until the day. When Keth was 59 (or as he believed, 17) a group of men came to the apartment Haleen and Keth now shared. Keth didn’t know these men, but Haleen did, although she didn’t tell him how. They demanded money, and when she didn’t have any, they barged into the home. They rooted around, not finding much of value, and then their leader seized upon the idea of taking Keth. He looked to be a big, strong enough lad. Surely he would fetch a good price in the fleshmarkets. At that suggestion Haleen grew cold, and whipped out a blade that she used to skewer one of the men. She yelled at Keth to run, and he did, but he didn’t get far before they knocked her out and caught him. He was too heavy to move very quickly, and the men dragged him away, satisfied with their prize. The next years were tough on him, as he passed through many owners. He earned frequent lashings due to his disrespect, and was eventually so disliked by his masters that they took to making him sleep in the barns, and take care of and clean the animals. Keth massively preferred this task, and the animals swiftly took a liking to him. He used his natural abilities to calm them when they got stressed, to heal them when they were whipped, and to speak to them when he was lonely. His master sent him to the market to fetch some lantern oil one afternoon, and while he was there he caught a glimpse of Haleen. Or maybe it was just that he thought he did, but it gave rise in him a desperate bout of energy, and he spent the next hour searching for her. Alas, he’d lost her. For taking so long on his shopping run, he was whipped, but he didn’t care. He knew that Haleen was alive, now, and he would do anything to find her again. During the night, he spoke to the animals about his plan, and they agreed: they would be released, and would make as big of a ruckus as they could to buy him time to escape. The plan went off without a hitch, and Keth slipped off into the night in the crowded city of Katapesh, losing himself in the crowd (which, for an Oread, is not very easy anywhere but the cosmopolitan city). He spent the next few years searching for her, to no avail. He had to flee the city when his previous masters nearly found him, bringing him to the city of Solku. Searching for something to occupy his time while he waited for the situation in Katapesh to die down (so he could return to search for Haleen), he began looking for work. That’s when he heard of Almah and her expedition to Kelmerane, and the attempt to re-civilize it. He thought of this as a noble job, and sought out Garavel, the man in charge of recruitment, to volunteer. Appearance:
68 years old Light Gray skinned and haired, 4’8’’ 206lbs. Oread with Dark hazel eyes Personality: Keth while often enjoying nature its self is a strong willed Oread who strives for what he wants whole heartedly and doesn’t let anything get in his way. He believes in true freedom and loves to pull pranks. However he is rather selfish and lacks compassion for others. He also believes that he is a human.
