I forgot to ask for those who basked weapons or armor prior to traveling to the plane - are we supposed to call any of those out in our attack rolls? Or GM are you aware and factoring in any effects?

Omrax is fine to ignore them and keep moving.

Omrax originally thought to see if the grubs were not evil and hence not native and possibly helpful. If they were good (unlikely) he’d be very opposed to anyone damaging them.

If they are evil, blast away.

GM - incase it matters later, regarding Eagle Soul auto-triggering on the retriever...I always thought they were evil outsiders but in their write up it says they are similar to them, but not that. I just want to know if Eagle Soul will still be active or dispersed.

Although a retriever is not an outsider, it may nonetheless be conjured by either greater planar ally or greater planar binding.

Not having any nearby foes, Omrax slashes with his adamant greatsword at the beetle leg which has twice toppled.

Curse you foul leg of a foul vermin! he hacks at the leg more out of spite than actual effect.

I was thinking retrievers were not officially evil outsiders otherwise extra smite +17 more damage will apply plus eagle soul will auto trigger +3 more damage. Not sure if the rune/blessing on his blade matters

not sure the effect of hacking a leg but he is not readily able to enter the mouth at its height

The paladin casts blessing of fervor on the party then takes the extra movement to dash forth drawing his adamant great sword as he moves.

blessing affects everyone except probably not Kahwen due to distance. Each can pick a blessing on their turn…
Omrax moves with extra speed 50’…not sure effect of terrain on movement.
Also Eaglesoul is active but has not auto-triggered unless he attacks an evil outsider.

is it obvious the beetle is a creature vs a machine? Was not sure if roll is required or ?
