A company was mining phlogiston from the earth there without any return to the villages that have lived on the land for centuries. They wouldn't even hire local workers!" ![]() My name is Jeff, I'm 42, and I live in Houston. I played 1st edition (barely) in high school, but most of my years were spent with 2nd edition and 3.x. 4th edition never interested me, but I've heard that certain aspects to it are good, depending on your play style. I've heard good things about 5th edition, but I don't have time to cram another rules system into my head. I still sometimes find myself thinking in 2E rules before I catch myself. Having a job, marriage, and two small kids makes it difficult to get out for a regular gaming night, so I started looking around for online games... and I'm not even sure how I came across Pathfinder. I think it's definitely an improvement over 3.5, but it is well into the power creep that hurt 3.5. I'm looking forward to seeing what Pathfinder 2 offers. ![]()
