Male Halfling Wizard (Evocation) 1, Riding Dog - Barry, Lizard familiar - Teena

Is it safe to assume the game has died at this point?

Spoiler:

I rolled one acrobatics before your answer, but just in case, here's another *fingers crossed*
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Ollymer:

OOC Question: Should Ollymer roll separate Acrobatics for each person he passes through, or just one? He's going to be running past a lot more of these guys

Ollymer took a moment to taunt the men he slipped past with a quick butt wiggle, then steeled himself for the next part of the gauntlet: getting past the next five people in the basement.

Acrobatics: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9
Ollymer is double moving to try to get past all of these guys at once, he hopes.

Got it. Do you need anything more from Ollymer yet? I’m waiting to see the results of his attempt to escape all those grapples

Ollymer in the basement:

Ollymer is unarmed, so he cannot take an AOO...and upon checking the rules, he may not have had his material component pouch to cast color spray...

Ollymer sighed with frustration as two of his assailants stepped through the spell with no ill effects. If they didn't succeed in holding him down, he tried to run between their legs to escape.

Acrobatics to move through enemy spaces: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (7) + 5 = 12

Ollymer's CMD, including the penalty for size, is 12.

So, based on the dungeon grid it looks like Ollymer is trapped in a dead end with eight dudes, is that correct? Are those cells to his right able to open on both sides? If not, just assume that he holds his color spray until they get close, to maximize the number of people he can color spray.

Spoiler:

"We'll see who's tender in a few moments, longshanks!" Ollymer hissed at the two tavern folk. Assuming they are within range, he then cast Color Spray on them (DC 15 Will saving throw). If they appear affected by the spell, he will try to run past them to get upstairs.

Currently Ollymer only has empathic communication with Teena, she would, for example, know that he's frightened/cold/uncomfortable, and possibly know where he is. Tragically, she's too small to bring him his clothes :(

Spoiler:
Ollymer's Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Discouraged by his inability to find temporary pants, Ollymer went ahead and cast Mage Armor on himself, just in case.

If only I could get in touch with Barry or...Teena! Teena, are you there, girl? I'm in a bit of a pickle down here! Ollymer thought to himself, focusing on his link to his familiar, a small lizard who was probably still in his jacket pocket upstairs in the bathroom.

Ollymer:

Ollymer suppressed a shiver as the chilly air began to sink into his wet, uncovered flesh. Sadly, magical light provided no warmth.

Moving away from the cells as quickly as he could, he moved down the hallway and tried to find any possible side rooms, first going towards the obvious dead-end, and then doubling back, hoping to find something to cover himself with.

Can Prestidigitation dry him off?

Ollymer:
In a moment of frustration, Ollymer stomped angrily on the ground and fired a Force missile back up the tube that he fell down. It sped upward, impacting on the tub's underside (presumably).

Force Missile damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Once he regained his temper, Ollymer attempted to squeeze between the bars of the cell, hoping his small size would aid him.

Acrobatics, I guess?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

"Fun is fun, but this is really starting to piss me off!" he growled at nobody in particular.

Whatever Halfling curses Ollymer had meant to direct towards the maid that sent him down the hatch were lost on the way down, swallowed by a cry of terror, and then sudden joy when he realized that he survived the landing. After shaking most of the straw off of himself, he cast light on a piece of straw to use as a makeshift torch and examined the area around him.

"Well" Ollymer said to himself, "I'm certainly not coming to this place again."

Ollymer takes the hint, casually shrugging out of his cloak, shirt, and trousers as he enters the private bath and eagerly hopping into the hot, fragrant water.

"Thanks for the bath, sweetie!" he calls out to the elf woman, looking over his shoulder with a playful wink. "This is just what I need after a long day on the road...I'll see the rest of you back in the tavern afterwards. We can trade stories over a few drinks."

Ollymer slid two gold pieces and a silver to Jenkins.

"I'm sorry to hear of your troubles, friend. I'll drink to better days ahead!" he said, lifting his mug for a toast and taking a long swig. He eyed the bowl of soup with great anticipation, taking in a few spoonfuls before he responded to Sawnya.

"If you've got a bath, I'd love a nice warm soak. Wet cold like this just gets into your bones."

Ollymer let out a sigh of relief as Barry padded through the gate and up to the entrance of the tavern. He was soaked to the bone, and so was Barry. He gave the doorman his best friendly smile and dismounted, then immediately regretted his decision when Barry immediately shook the water out of his fur, covering Ollymer with water and wetting the doorman's boots.

"I am so sorry, sir! I'll run inside and get you a towel immediately!" said Ollymer, quickly ducking into the tavern.

After making good on his promise, he hopped onto a bar stool (with a lift from Barry) and tried to get the bartender's attention.

"Anything you've got that's hot, please. If it's alcoholic, even better!"

While he waited for his drink, Ollymer took in the evening's crowd, throwing a quick wink at the halfling woman.
