Still Ojore wants to get something for Shang to sent with. Perhaps bedding or a feed bowl. That way if we get within 15' feet of the hiding animal Shang will alert and pinpoint the square.

Ojore asks the owner Do you have something this cat slept on? My Shange can track by scent. And perhaps some favorite food? If Scent and tracking by both Shang and Ojore can help, along with offering a favorite food we are going to try that.

Shrugging Ojore turns to the others and announces I have seen it in some animals. He is afraid of gatherings of people and of small spaces. Loot at his eyes. You can see his fear with only us in the room with him. My contribution was the SM check. :)

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21 You are brave, yes? Brave enough to face this storm. But your house is not ready. I know weather. You must trust me in this. Prove your bravery and come with us. I will try to find you a safe and isolated place where you can wait out the storm away from the others.

The troll must eat too. I hope it has learned to stick to its natural prey and will not venture into the cities of man again. Ojore says as he watches it run away. He is content that it leaves. He strokes the fur of his young lion congratulating it on its attack.

Encouraged by his master the young armored lion moves in to attack the creature. Ojore casts a spell on his club and moves in to threaten the creature and flank with his cat if possible. He tries to leave a path for the thing to retreat back into the jungle if it will go. bite: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 251d6 + 1 + 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 + (3) + 2 = 11 Confirm: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 251d6 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2 Go Tiger! Two nat 20s on his first attack. Fear the cat! :) 13 total damage.

Pitty I do not still have that fire belly spell memorized. Ojore laments. Still, we outnumber the creature. Surely we can drive it off. He casts Frostbite on his cat and says We are ready. Lets do this.

Hmm. Lets hope Ojore wakes first. :) And who on watch let the cat slink into camp and nap beside me? lol. Waking from his dream the druid is as surprised as any to see the young lion at his side. Using only hand signals he calms and reassures the others in the party. Finally he dares to stroke the sleeping cat. After introductions are made he explains The lion is my totem. My ancestors have sent me this young cat to guide and for a companion. The land's need must be great for one such as him to come to me. Ojore seems quite happy, but also concerned about the responsibility of taking care of his new friend.

Level 2. Sweet. Ojore takes another level of Druid of course. I believe we are going with Max HP each level so he gains 8+2(Con bonus)+1(FC bonus), or 11 hp His BAB increases to 1 and his fort and will saves increase by 1. He gains Woodland Stride and Lion Totem transformation ability. H also gains another zero and first level spell slot. He gains 5 adventuring skill points and 2 background skill points Adventuring Skills

Thanks! I want to explain my comment in the game post that I made ooc. In a game where I was playing a wizard I always remembered to cast Detect Magic in each room. The player playing a ranger started referring to me as "the greedy wizard" in his posts. This got under my skin in no time. His character never called mine greedy so IC there was no way to respond. It was fine for his character to think my character was greedy and it was fine if OOC he stated he thought I was playing a greedy character. But it was not ok to state opinion as fact. This game actually ended partly because of this. I don't in general have thin skin but this gets to me, so be warned. :)

Note that Ojore clearly said we should use the gear to get back. Do you you still wish to say what you said? Also your character can call me self righteous in your statement to my character. But I ask you not to state criticisms as fact like you do here as you are criticizing me but there is no way to respond in character. OOC I will say that Ojore is not at all self righteous but a good character that is concerned for others.

Catching up. Finding the armory Ojore looks over the weapons and armor and comments All these things belong to the town. Perhaps they will give us some as a reward but they are not our property. Still we should use what we can if it helps in our mission. Specifically to Damiel he admonishes That armor is worth much trade goods. Would you take food from the captain's widow and children? If he has heirs they have claim to it. Druid's weapon list is quite short. He could use the silver dagger. That is about it. He will agree to carry it but plans to try to return it to the captain's heirs. Finding the halfling Ojore also speaks Polyglot. Its his native tongue after all. Muhdzuzi, you will come with us to the human town. I promise to keep you safe there. You will tell them your tale. Then you and I will go to your people and tell them what happened. The others of this group may choose to go as well. That is up to them. These lizard people have tried to make it look like your people did the killing of men here. We must work together to oppose these evil lizardmen. Ojore states this like it must be so. Food stuff and supplies. We are strong and can carry much of this. Let us choose what is valuable and needed and carry back what we can. If we must fight we can easily drop what we carry and not be hampered.

And guess which GM started us off too poor to afford alchemicals or tools? lol. Yes I know we could have bought some with the party gold we got, but that is the problem with party gold. No one spends it. If we rest Ojore could memorize two spells that each would let him breath a 15' cone of fire that does a 1d4 damage. Not sure how else I can help.
