"It's time to stop this experiment. We know you're aware of the problems of addiction, but it's worse out there than you can imagine," Obozaya rumbles. "Creatures are killing each other because they're so hungry because of your medicines. You said you didn't intend any harm, but your research is causing exactly that." "They're not that tough!" Obozaya encourages the others as she opens fire again at the dragonkin. Autotarget rifle: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 19
Glancing behind her, she steps forward, trying to make sure she has cover from any foes. Shift forward five feet; not sure if that tower support will provide any protection from the creature to her north, but figure it's better than nothing.

"Ha!" Obozaya taunts. "Too scared to face little ol' Obozaya? That's fine, dragon. I can beat you from here!" She opens fire again, but unfortunately is well off-target as she's momentarily blinded by the gout of flame. Autotarget rifle: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

The combat over, Obozaya activates the holoprojector on her back, sending her personalized holographic war-banner up over her shoulder. She turns back to the antenna, looking around. "Anyone have any explosives? Maybe we take this thing down! she rumbles. "Or at least someone shut it off?" Figure is moved where I currently plan to be, but I do think we have 30 seconds to try to start changing things up on them. If they want the projector on, we want it off, I think.

If Ruuk takes care of his foe:
"Hurry!" she calls, "there are probably more coming. And we need to figure out what happened to the doctor, if she's in on this or more importantly if she's not!" If Ruuk doesn't take care of his foe:
"Someone open the gate to let the others in!" she calls out, but her divided attention throws off her aim. Autotarget rifle: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

You could save some of those lousy rolls for Mummy's Mask, GM. Obozaya pulls her rifle and opens fire at one of the guards as she steps behind the antenna to try to get a little cover target green, moving one square to the northwest. Obozaya nods at Ruuk's words, glad to be on the same page as him. She watches the game carefully, thinking maybe she'll try to join in depending on what happens with 701. She can hardly let herself be shown up in an athletic feat by an android, after all. What would anyone say if they saw that? Waiting to see what happens with him.

"Nice," Obozaya rumbles, taking one of the armor upgrades. The knives are nice, but her flame doshko -- or claws -- can probably get the trick done. If no one else wants one of them, though, she'll add it to her personal arsenal. "Yeah," she agrees with Omen-Seeker. "It's not going to be easy to get these scientists to listen to reason. They clearly know what they're doing and don't care."

Obozaya nods at Ruuk's words. "Yes, even if they do agree, a little initimidation might be in order," she growls. "This is monstrous! "Ruuk, we should make some plans in case they don't get the point with Omen-Seeker's words. I've got another grenade, but might need help getting that tower down. Spinjack especially didn't seem all that interested in us hanging around, and like anything with proper scales, dragonkin are never taken lightly." I can't make any of those checks.

Obozaya nods. "It's possible, but we know they're Triaxian and that ship definitely wasn't," she rumbles. "While they definitely seem shady, they're not our priority right now. Let's go try to find the locals they told us about ... and hope they haven't managed to alienate them with their experiments."
SP 32/32; HP 34; RP 5; EAC 21; KAC 23; Fort +5; Ref +4; Will +4 (+2 vs. fear effects)
Obozaya sighs as 701 takes a far less interesting tack toward distracting their companions than she would have, though she realizes it's likely less ... off-putting than her own methods. Sorry, this pregen has no useful noncombat skills. I'm following along, but there's just not much I can do here.
SP 32/32; HP 34; RP 5; EAC 21; KAC 23; Fort +5; Ref +4; Will +4 (+2 vs. fear effects)
Like Ruuk, much of this information is more than Obozaya cares about, and sounds like it could be gibberish. Still, she's never been one for addictive substances, and isn't sure that it speaks well of this group that they did something that has such a negative impact on the local fauna. Between this and what they're doing with the weather, they seem ... reckless. Still, maybe there's something useful to be learned here, so she keeps her patience and hopes the others are getting something more out of this.

Obozaya's face darkens at Omen-Seeker's words, her jaw clenching as she notices what he's talking about for the first time. I don't like this. It's one thing to defeat foes in battle, but simply keeping them in cages? Nothing should be treated that way. Imagine if they were children, what people would say to that?! They seem very casual with their effects on this planet...

For what it's worth, I'm fine sticking around, and think we probably should. It's just Obozaya who wants to move on. :) "How long are your experiments going to take," Obozaya asks, since her companions seem to be in no hurry to be worshiped as they should. "It can't be good, all this climate change that's going on..."
SP 32/32; HP 34; RP 5; EAC 21; KAC 23; Fort +5; Ref +4; Will +4 (+2 vs. fear effects)
Obozaya grins. "Worshiped like gods? Now we're talking," she says happily. Even so, she worries about Spinjack's sudden seeming hostility. It's probably nothing -- just a little bitterness at being misidentified as someone clearly important enough to handle security instead of whatever he actually does -- but a smart vesk is always better safe than sorry. Obozaya shrugs at the dragonkin's lack of response. Should've remembered that, Obo, she reprimands herself. Good soldiers, keep to themselves until they have reason not to. She shrugs as Dr. Monsylkis suggests the next area. "I guess that's fine," she says. ... But any defensive installations would be a lot finer. She stifles a yawn as the tour gets science-y, trying with mostly limited success not to let her eyes glaze over. "If there's not much need, you must have a lot of time," she says to Skipjack. "That's the way of things, I guess."

"Hmph," Obozaya growls. "Well, at least the landfolk saw the fight, so can tell other people about it, even if we don't have any evidence." After landing, she looks over the three figures, eyes lighting up at the armor and the dragonkin's weapons. Her jaw drops in her customary toothy grin. "Who knows," the vesk answers her question. "They didn't want us to find out, apparently. Maybe once the ship's fixed, we can at least get a closer look at the debris." Still, her attention turns more to Skipjack and Farvenzi, letting others -- presumably 701, he seems like he wants to know everything (or maybe he already knows everything?) -- take the lead with the head of the research station. "So that armor? Tell me about it, please. Much need of it here? What do you need to keep secure from, other than this cold?" And I'll assume there's nothing I can do to help, so will fire the aft turret guns if for some reason a target presents itself. "That's why we have space suits," Obozaya yells back. Obozaya smiles. "Well, hopefully they'll be something more interesting than farming down there," she says, joining Pilgrim as she recovers her own weaponry and making sure she's fully equipped. "Of course, if they are just farmer, we might like a little silly with all this gear, but those are the risks we choose to take, I guess," she says with a grin as she adjusts her blade and guns so they fall within easy reach of her hands.
