Having eaten his fill, Nukilik starts cleaning his bloody paws. "I'm ready to go. I can finish cleaning up later."

Nukilik doesn't waist a second and immediately begins gorging himself.

Nukilik paces in place and continually licks his chops. "Are they safe to eat?" the young bear asks eagerly.

We're up now, right?

Nukilik slams into the next boar.

The young bear's crooning hits a deeper tone as he gestures calling down a burst of starlight among the invasive boars.

Nukilik begins his ursine crooning to enhance his companions' weapons.

Nukilik licks his lips at the sight of the boars and then looks to Cal with hope in his eyes.

No, we're evacuating them.

I suggest we stick with the former. Is Father Holbrook or any of the other spellcasters in town powerful enough to perform a sending?

It seems unlikely that the four of us are going to wage war against the invading forces so escorting the refugees makes sense.

Nukilik helps with the evacuation as much as possible (mostly by hauling stuff) but he stays close to Father Holbrook whenever possible. This was a new experience for him. He'd had a couple minor scuffles with other bears when he lived beyond the wall but he'd never been at war before.

"I wish we could have done more", he explains to Holbrook. "But we're going to go where there's lots of soldiers now, right? We'll get everyone behind some nice strong walls and they'll be safe again."

I think the shield's all yours.

Nukilik doesn't necessarily need the potions but he'd be happy to lug them around if it's a carrying capacity problem for someone.

Nukilik is all leveled.

Remember guys, we get +1 weapon attunement and +1 armor attunement this level.

I don't want to alarm you GM Raine, but there was a GM Snowe guy in here a bit ago acting like he's in charge.

"I... don't know", Nukilik answers. "Dragging a soul from Mitra's embrace isn't something we speak about often."

Nukilik is all set to take off and warn the town.

"Yes, I can do that", the young bear says nervously. "I'll leave right away!"

With the villains defeated, Nukilik solemnly approaches the commander's fallen form. "We were too late", he rumbles sadly. "Does this mean... the region is defenseless? What should we do?"

Nukilik continues his crooning song while he watches the soldiers fight.

Is there any reason Karl hasn't been using flurry?

Nukilik continues watching Karl's struggle with the heavily armored villain.

Spotting the melee around the corner, Nukilik pauses and watches in fascination.

Maintaining song but otherwise delaying for now.

Is the antipaladin the only one left?

Oh, sorry. I didn't realize I was up again.

Nukilik lumbers forward while continuing his ursine crooning. Double moving toward the fight.

I realize Nukilik isn't up yet but I'm just going to post now because he's not going to be doing much.

The sudden danger once again sends a flood of spirits rushing through the young bear's form. Pushing against them, he steps off the ledge and plummets toward the ground much like Karl did only to be caught by a cushion of friendly winds.

As his paws lightly touch the ground, he begins a low crooning ursine song. When Nukilik sings the spirits answer, forming as motes of starlight in the air and settling on the weapons on his comrades.

Free action: Step off the ledge and fall. Standard action: Begin raging song.

Everyone can choose a weapon to gain a +1 enhancement bonus. Also, once during this song you can get +3 to CMB or CMD for a single check.

It's from a lesser talisman. I'm not sure if those function as the spell or only for the wearer.

Nukilik can actually feather fall down. He might be willing to carry someone with him.

"Up!" Nukilik says insistently. "His quarters were on one of the top floors."

"We should check on Lord Havelyn", Nukilik suggests. "If anyone could have survived what's happened here, it's him."

Any immediate signs of how he was killed so we might know what we're dealing with?

Nukilik's hackles raise in alarm at the scent and sight of more blood.

Through the door!

Nukilik follows closely behind Karl, keeping an eye out for villains.

"The men behind these attacks might be nearby. We should be careful", the young bear suggests. "Here, this should help."

He touches his cold wet nose to Karl's elbow. Suddenly there's a warmth that spreads through his body as his skin thickens and dense hair sprouts up from the half-orc's skin.

+2 enhancement bonus to natural armor and resistance 5 to cold for 10 minutes. Is Kyriel primary melee or ranged? He can have one too if he's planning on being in melee.

When you mentioned the dust earlier did you mean that if there was any tracks they would be obvious?

They are literally the worst.

Nukilik slowly lumbers forward. Wary of assassins and other villains, he eyes the shadows carefully. "Are we under Balentyne now?"

How far via tunnels are we expecting to travel?

Nukilik learned a while ago that two-legs didn't appreciate his hugs but he leans affectionately into Father Holbrook's embrace. "Mitra be with you."

Emboldened by the assassin's capture, Nukilik holds his head a little higher. "Right, we have to warn the Commander. He can rally the militia. We need more soldiers!"

"Father Holbrook, can you gather the others in the church like we talked about? If that one was lying you'll have to keep them safe."

Nukilik displays a rare bit of bear-like behavior and growls menacingly. "You'd better do what he says. He's a soldier. He'll kill you."

Nobody even has intimidate.

It occurs to me that none of us have any social skills.

I was going to grab them but I figured it wouldn't be appropriate for the bear to be the party's face.

Nukilik lumbers toward the fallen assassin, hiding slightly behind Kyriel. "He's a very bad man. He needs to be brought to justice."

"Who are you? Why are you doing this?" Nukilik begs from the prisoner.

Am I up?

With the assassin fled, Nukilik runs up to where he was a moment earlier. "Mister Cal, you're bleeding everywhere. Let me help."

He growls/hums a tune and lays a massive paw on the marksman's back.

The scent of cold iron and hot spilled blood are overwhelming for Nukilik as the assassin appears and jams his blade between Cal's ribs. In one painful moment, every life the cloaked figure had taken flashed through the young bear's mind in a series of sights and sounds, robbing Nukilik of his ability to speak and leaving him barely able to stand. It passes quickly enough but the naatanuk is still reeling when the others come to the marksman's aid.

"Help them!" he manages to beg the open air. "Help them stop this killer!"

From somewhere, a sense of purpose washes over the party bolstering their resolve.
