Borrowing Money.
Everyone knew eventually it would come to this, when consumption rises to high, or perhaps a project that has to be finished, money needs to be borrowed. So who can you get money from, and of course how much.

First since BP are an abstract system, and only roughly half is actually gold, to effectively gather 1 full build point you must actually borrow 2. So if you need to have 10 BP in your treasury then you will owe 20 BP to the lenders.

Who can you borrow money from? Your kingdom is the one to borrow BP from, nobles, merchants, these are the people who will lend money to you. You may borrow one BP per 2000gp value that your city/kingdom has. Farm lands are considered to be run by nobles and are worth about 1000gp per farm hex. Example: If Your city base value was 10,000gp you could borrow 5 build points, and you would owe 10 BPs.

Finally paying back. Very simply put you must pay back the money you borrow, or you will be looking at civil unrest the likes of which is nearly unheard of. Interest on the money you borrow is 10% round up minimum of 1, per month.
Example: 20BPs worth of debt would be 2 BP you must pay, in interest, per month. If you fail to pay the interest then your unrest jumps to 10, or its current level, whichever is higher. If it above 10 you automatically loose a hex. In addition for every 10 BP you owe increase unrest by a further 1.

Adding to the farming, and consumption cost.

Land should provide different bonuses besides 2 or none. So this is an index to provide different consumption cost reductions.

Plains:2
Fertile Plains: 3 (includes river, water supply, or just exceptionally fertile area, as determined by DM.)
Hills:2.
Broken Lands:1 (rough hills)
Mountains: 0
Forest: 1 or 2. Hunting is always important in fantasy economies. Therfore build it up with hunting lodges (read farm) and you gain 2, but no resource.
Marsh: if you build a road, and farm on the square (and add a watchtower for defence) should be able to increase Cosumption reduction by 1, never 2.

Cities. No account for fishing.
Pier should provide a reduction of 1 for consumption, a dock should provide 2. As you are now using fishing as well, this would be HUGE in the fantasy city.

Mm been thinking on some of these, love the system, want to flush it out a bit. So this thread will hopefully be about that.

Natural Resources.
The Mine:
Type: Bonus.
Copper: 1
Iron/Silver: 2 (Iron might give a bonus to smiths, weapon armor makers etc).
Gold: 3
Platinum & Gems: 4.

Lumber: On top of the listed bonus perhaps if a camp is built lets give 1 free build point per month.

Hex containing shore line, lake, or water, if "farm" is built on it provides either the full 2, or an additional +1 for consumption cost.

Finally building a water supply, in plains, from a river (Built like a raod for same cost. Or any farm that contains a river will reduce consumption by 3, not 2.

Hey folks. version one, would love some feed back, tell me what you think. It may seem a bit complicated, but 2 points.
1. I wanted to add some indepth optional rules.
2. It is easy to calculate if you keep on top.
oh and
3. Its optional.
heres version 1.
Additional Rules for King Maker
Law and Order.
Lawful Kingdoms add +2 to Law Checks.
Law: This value is analogous to saving throws, just like stability, economy, and loyalty. You make this check during your kingdoms Order Phase. You make these checks to reduce criminal activities in your Empire. You initial score is 0+your kingdoms alignment modifier, a natural 1 is always a failure, and a natural 20 is always a success.

Unrest-Unrest is applied as a penalty to law checks.

Order Phase: (comes before Economy Phase).
Step 1- Determine Kingdom Law Check: Make a Law check against your Command DC to determine your kingdom’s level of law and order for the month. If you make the check, reduce your Kingdom’s Floating Crime (See step 2) by 1 (If your Crime is at 0 gain 1 BP as a result of stability and surplus goods.). IF you pass the check by 5 or more reduce unrest by 1. If you fail the check by 5 or more increase Floating Crime by 1, and unrest by 1.

Step 2- Determine Total Crime: To make things easier you should list crime as PC (Permanent Crime-PL (Permanent Law))+FC (Floating Crime-FL (Floating Law)) =TC (Total Crime). Very easy to determine, first you will add up all PC bonuses (mostly from buildings.). Then add all the FC bonuses from buildings, minus any modifiers, total then up and you will get your Total Crime. PC and FC can never be reduced below 0.

Point four for the income phase.

Step 4-Generate Income: Make an Economy check against your Command DC at the end of your income phase. If you’re successful, minus your crime score from the total, then divide your result by 5. (dropping any fractions) and increase your Treasury’s BP by that amount.

Leadership roles. (bonuses are in addition to listed bonuses, unless otherwise stated).

Ruler: Add Law to choices. A king may modify three of the four.

General: You may choose to have the army, General, directly involved restoring Law. If you do ½ his Str or Cha and apply half to stability, and half to Law checks. Enforcing Law can take away from more important issues, as well it can breed resentment amongst the people.

Marshal- Increase Law by a value equal to Wis bonus. Vacancy penalty: Increase Floating Crime by 2.

Spymaster- Add Law to the increases. Penalty add 2 to Floating Crime.

Warden: Apply bonus to Law as well. Vacancy add 4 to Floating Crime.

Buildings:
These rules are in addition to the rules applied to existing buildings. Each building listed gets a bonus to either Floating Crime (FC), Permanent Crime (PC), Floating Law (FL) or Permanent Law (PL). Modify accordingly.

Arena- +1PC
Barracks-+1PL
Black Market- +2 PC, +1FC
Brewery-+1 FC
Brothel- +1PC
Castle- +2PL, +2FL
Cathedral-+1PL, +2FL
City Walls- +1 FL
Dump-+1 PC
Garrison +2 PL, +1 FL
House- +1 FC ( this may be to much for most players, you may want to remove this, feed back?)
Jail- +2 PL, +2 FL
Market- + ½ (so if two it becomes a single point. Do not round up ½ points.)
Piers- +1 PC, +1 FC
Tavern- +1 PC, +1 FC
Temple- +1 FL (if a militant, or Law orientated God, feel free to add +1 or +2 PL)
Tenement- +2 PC, +1 FC. (Though one may think no one will ever build this, remember as a DM and PC that you may run into refugees, shortage of cash, a fire and the need to rebuild fast.).
Theatre-+1FC
Watch tower- +1 PL
Water Front +2 PC, +1 FC.

Dark Archive

lol it depends if the underworld is running the show. But even then, try getting something done when everyone is whistling with their hands behind their backs, rocking back and forth, back and forth on the balls of their feet, everytime someone asks where did such and such go.
: )

Dark Archive

I have been thinking of adding a fourth stat, to stability, economy etc.

Since we are just starting Kingmaker I have a bit of time to prepare this. My idea is that Warden (I think i am using the right one), and certain buildings, would give a Law rating, bonus, rather then stability.

The idea is that in the listings of other cities there is a criminal element, thieves guilds, bandits etc. I know this can come under unrest, but in the game i am running, unrest is more rebellion, loosing hexes etc.

The idea would be when a check is failed, when black market is established, in the check phase you need to make a law check. If you fail, or for every criminal point you have at the time, BP are stolen from the realm. The higher the ranking, the more that is stolen. Other modifiers would be -1 for lawful kingdom, +1 chaotic etc.

What is the feeling on this? Feedback, suggestions?

thanks guys.

Dark Archive

when you roll your stats you keep what lies, in the order they fall.
then you argue for an entire game session on wether it is str dex con, or str con dex.

apparently some people cannot change editions.

and thaco, thank you...Applause.

actually i have had great times with old school dms, most are okay when you take one or two bad elements in a good night, however its the ones that have 10 or 12 that start to worry me.

Dark Archive

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I am only posting cause the guy above me has the best name ever!!!!

Dark Archive

the worst part is i have seen so many of these people, but it only takes one and can pull the rest of the group down. But i must say cheers to all of you for finding new people to game with, it is rewarding and fun, social and should be a great game, story and should just be nice for everyone. I have to say no matter how frustrating its nice to vent as well sometimes.

the brothers, damn sounds o much like a pair of warhammer brothers i knew.
hmmm.
same prob with my ex, dm decided that she was his property and ruined the game for everyone.

Dark Archive

again i think if you create a whole new power system there is the problem of reengineering everythign else, monsters, pcs, etc...
i think having a gunslinger styled pscionic class is much more palatable, rather then wiping everything out and building a whole new system in.

but this also means will there be unique creatures? can anyone have psi? like can a fighter have a 1% chance of being psi? then is it a class, or is it a template like vampire?

that is another opition, psi as a template.

Dark Archive

oh he is detailed in that book? thanks i will definetly be getting that.
are there stats on other deamons as well?

Dark Archive

are you kidding, the core book killed me. THat was it, no other books. but i just bought, i dont care.

13.This is my world and you will like it. Its not home brew its as good or better then any other world.
14.dont tell anyone beacause this world WILL be published.
15.dont argue or i will give you another encounter.

I'm asking because I have the Gamer Life an, Offtopic forums collapsed and never pay any attention to them, and this is spilling over on parts that I actually do read.

Sorry, had to do that :)

hey its late, or early, depending where i am right now. jsut had some fun. and i cut it out, i started this because someone asked in a different thread. and i do actually contribute to other threads as well. its nice to have a little fun, with out having to make every post about character Maximization, and not even optimization.

I dont think this is any lamer then asking which are the weakest feats, lol...anyhow i am sorry if its to much, and i mean it. was just having a little fun. and not being a jerk, i do apologize if i annoyed you mate.

Dark Archive

really i will ahve to read more order of the stick i guess. But, at least at the start, knights was great. very much fun.

lobulusk Cheers. One of the best stories i have have ever heard, i think that will be brought up at my next gaming group.

the best we evrer had was a month long round of nut sack, you probably know how that went. it was either crit or 1 but either way wham, and then usually throw up...

as for deranged players.

a certain franchise gaming shop, where minature battles take place, this was second hand. short guy in cowboy hat, we will call him "the hat" annoying teen know it all.

Teen mouths off constantly though out game, hat tells him to "chill"

they get in each others faces.
teen flips hat off the head of "the hat"

i believe several gamers and two employeess had to pull him off the beaten and bloody teen.

On another note i saw a fist in the face at a game table, member was army on leave, friend of the group. New player had some very commie pinko comments about new player and the army, ya poltics mixes well with games.

a flipped table and fist to the face, several lost teeth later i was on the floor laughing at the whole thing, the other group had fled in terror, most gamers are not known for their courage under fire, and the army guy hopped a fence and ran off down the street, that was perhaps the funniest part of the whole situation.

Dark Archive

i am way to old to know how wives think.

lol actually still young, somewhere in the middle, yay me.
order of the stick...not bad.

no KODT but then what it is.
two stories, two different girls, one hot...one...umm nice.

so it all worked out in the end, well for everyone but that prick of a dm.
at least i ran into him one day, still single, still trollign for players.

ahh revenge, the one with the pants off always wins!

Dark Archive

I live up in Ontario canada, and outside toronto, it can be a barren wasteland.

Sigh.
nnow here is the thought.
win the lottery.
hire a group of die hard gamers.
build the ultimate game area, comfy chairs for all.
and all game till our eyes bleed.

Dark Archive

ahh rifts....my generic run of the mill dead boy in coalition dead boy armor.
sent to mexico in a power suit to fight vampires. dropped some nukes, was excuted for wasting coalition supplies.

d6 system? are we talking steve jackson?

1.Pathfinder, love it.
2.Dark sword adventures, heavily moded.
3.WFRP (its broken, the class systems made no sense, but a hell of a time to be honest.

OLD skool DM?
started this in another forum, thought it might be a blast to post it and hear what others think and believe.

1.New characters are 1st level. No matter what level you die.
2.There is NEVER a cap on level advancement (see old dragon magazine issues and some 330 odd level wizard that blew up greyhawk, in a letter to the editor, resulting in several issue long snail mail arguments in the letters section of dragon).
3.Core race ONLY.
4.Options are just that, they are options for other groups.
5.YOU will speak as if you were in character.

Dark Archive

loblousk.

Brilliant, thanks for being honest. I am an okay DM, when i have a pathfinder or adventure mod to follow, i can be honest. I am not good at making my own. very much like you. I am happy with my preset adventures, i would prefer never to dm if i didnt have to, but since i have the best dm ever, i try to give him time to play. sometimes it sucks being behind the board.

YES you have to tell the president story, for real? really really real?

and we had something less dramatic.

we used to roleplay on a BBS (remember those?)
needless to say some hacking went down, and the RCMP (Up here in canada) came over and cut the phone lines on the property lol.

damn never did finish that mod.
I try to hard to make the adventure perfect for all my players.

and i am the worst, give out WAY to much treasure.

sigh.

OLD skool DM?
well some thoughts, or should this be a seperate thread?

1.New characters are 1st level. No matter what level you die.

LOL love it golem, so true to.

And to answer another post.
1.i never knew he liked her (and even if he wasnt my friend being a guest you dont act like an ass.).
2.It was never my choice, it was hers, free people no one has claims.
3.never hit on someone in a relationship, however it takes two people to be in a relationship...at least so i have been told.

4. roleplaying is great, but dates were better. no i am married, so i am happy, if only i can trick wy wife into playing...hmmm.

Dark Archive

And Azure you want to share? dont hold back?

half elf half giant? really?
what was it darksun? and the old school gms can be the worst.

played a game with an x teacher of mine, wrote some articles for dragon, or dungeon back in the day, so his other x teacher friend ran and wrote their own campaign.

i swear they were around when the game was first invented.
group shows up to play.
we all make our characters, one of his young friends shows up to play, this guy was not well liked at our school, small town pretty much one school. this wont be good.

he gets to roll 5 d 6, take away the lowest 1. ummm...fine let it slide.
played his module for 2 sessions, around 6 hours. managed to fight a pack, flock??? of stirges. wiped out 90% of the party cept fav pc 1 and random girl in our group.

let it slide. second module. 3 weeks of play, twice a week. hunting a mysterious killer. fought a single mummy at the end, killed everyone but girl and fav pc.

I rage quit, never saved my game.

Dark Archive

any idea where i could find more info?

i also remember a nice little part in one of the L5R games that had mass combat where you waded in and had effects on the outcome.

nice work that.

Dark Archive

this might help, i bring this up a lot but...if it aint broke, pants it.

find a download of dragon issue 125.
Gives math, and calculations based on population how much gold can be earned, gives them some math and mechanics to monkey around with, keeps the gold reasonable. Lets them have fun, not a ton of reading, some nice tables and percentages, again short read, keeps them active and busy.

and off topic, sorry if i get beaten, there was a good system in warhammer fantasy roleplay. I think in their armory guide.
best part was if you were not there running it, it would go to hell.

tell them to do what they want, but adventure first, and its begins to run down.
otherwise go for 125 dice, percentage, based on the amount of people.
blah blah blah

Dark Archive

DSP?

Dark Archive

Brilliant, that is exactly how the two of us play. I think our number one problem is simply location, the lack of any nearby stores, but i will try to hit them up. I love your post. That is exactly what a game should be.

we have combat, and its fun, but that is never the drive behind our games.

Crimson throne so far has been one of our favorites. I love interacting with npcs, i have a brilliant dm that lets us kill if we want, develop relationships, or not, it has been a blast.

Dark Archive

Necromancer! Wow hats of dude.

I am a big guy, i would have been over the table and knocked some sense into him..

one thing.
did he actually say "next instance"??
i thought that kind of stuff only happend in warhammer games.

Lol i am sorry to hear that.

Bloody hell i miss having a big group of players.

Dark Archive

i loved the idea of a dire wolf/hyena. reduce the stats, just increas the size. then most problems are solved. I mean the dog is nimble, and can move over much of the terrain. is loyal, fierce. I think it would be great. and looks cool etc...
I would love to be a cavalier if the mount thing could be made to work.

Dark Archive

1.A good story still needs good combat.
2. I m open to other forms, not jsut PBP
3.I believe that the players need to work with the dm as much as he with them.
4.Had/have a great group, jsut to small, to country where we are.
5.I think two dms, alternate, if you can work it, can add a lot.
6. I hear the problems, i am looking to see if some people might be interested in working together.

No favs, npcs rich and with color, but if you want to hack the head of certain dark elves, and you can do it, and there is a reason for it, then by all means. the story is about the characters.
Nothing to hard, nothign to easy.
the fear of death, with no need to wipe everyone out every five minutes.

i hear the reasons, we know the reasons. anyone want to try to build some legendary epic game?over the top, path finder, but the good old days.

remember the first time you read the book, mine i read second addition first. some pathfinder, others 3.5

remember how cool the game seemed the first time, when you looked at all gthe classes, you imagined how neat it would be to be one of them. you spent more time thinking about where you would end up then where you came from.
that is the fun i want to bring back.

Dark Archive

come on guys, i contribute, help me out here. lol
someone?

Dark Archive

First i give up legal rights to any crap i might spew, really they can have it. I love paizo, and if they somehow, in a drunken stuper, stupor? (hmm spelling) think that some crap i might actually say is worth s@~# then they can have it. they have saved my favorite game, my hobby and probably my sanity.

In addition you dont need to be negative, i hate psionics, but i am trying to contribute here, why do you need to rain on their parade? really? is it something that makes you smile, and think hey i pissed on a bunch of guys chewing the fat.

yay for me. you suck. you suck hard, and you are the kind of person that ruins games for everyone else. you suck, maybe a table top game is more up your alley.

begining of the post No criticisms. try to respect other peoples contributions, at least they are trying something and not trolling for attention.

Dark Archive

Told to create characters for a starwars game.

Two of us created a jedi, who was captured by imperial troops, and a rogue storm trooper/bodyguard who chose to free the young jedi.

everything that could go wrong did, to my character.

I could never figure out why. I was so deadly with a blaster rifle i could shoot a ewok at a 100 pacese , blind folded. In fact i was good enough to actually hit a good guy with the blaster, not shoot a tree while trying to peg a drunk han solo five feet in front.

However, i was beaten, kidnapped, prisoned, etc...

it was only later did i realize that the dm had a crush on the girl playing the jedi, therfore i could not be her protector.

LOL

three games, we ended up going to the movies together, and we were both banished.

Same thing at university. Game group met every other day and played. DM was an obnoxious bore, kept hitting on one girl in the group. She decided to make it obvious i was her bf, of course someone could have told me. Two death traps and an angry greend dragon later still 5th level, i was dead, but at least not single.

girls and games, never mix!!!! ;)

again....its all about who wears the pants, whose in the pants, and who still thinks that rolling his charisma check will let him touch the pants.

Dark Archive

i posted the worst.

So now. tell us the best PC/DM/GAME.

YOurs and others. So many bad experiences, would love to hear some good ones.
if you can
Fav (other persons.) PC/DM/Game
Fav (Your own).

1.Pc-honestly the best PC i ever played with, and i say this because i played to long champaigns with him. The first he was dead serious hard core straight edged PC, cannot even remember his class. the reason i liked him was his second character was a barbarian, great history, great back story, but he was able to do conan/arnold voice so perfect we nearly wet ourselves laughing. the fact he could be serious, and have fun, it was amazing. made me laugh so damn hard.

2.Best Dm. my current Dm, i am not always a fan of his PC's but he is a damn good dm, brings to life characters, and has really made an effort to engage and use back stories of characters. brilliant.

3.Game. war hammer fantasy roleplay. 2nd or third mod, cannot remember, ethier way. A love interest of my PC ended up being a chaos cultist, that bit me in the ass hard. Best part was the deamon that we were supposed to kill was slaughtering its own followers. i thought, screw it let him kill them all.
OOPs that jsut let him morph into a more powerful version. LOL.
same dm as 2. lucky me to have such a great story teller.

favorite PC of mine?

thats a tough one. Probably my current fighter Nos. not such an elaborate back story, but i liked him none the less. Cheliaxian ex noble, in korvosa, torn between duty and hatred of thrune. Follower of Aroden. Fav moment. When he broke down at the left over church of Aroden in Korvosa.

Dark Archive

wow.

so for fun i posted the worst pcs dms and games, one day i should post a thread with the best game/dm/pc thread, and not your own.

I guess i am throwing this out there, but is it just me, but i would love a game of just role players...i would love to try pbp, if someone could teach me how and where that is done.

but i would love a group driven by role playing, story telling and fun. have interesting characters, histories, stories. I read all of the bad things, and at the same time i have had incredible fun.

just a thought, perhaps i am day dreaming, but to actually have a tight knit role playing group, that would be fun. not so many rules or restrictions, but a group build.

oh well just a thought.
probably wont get any responses.

Dark Archive

again what about a place like Katapash or Absalom? massive out of area populations.

Or Varissa (spelling) where you have locals, plus shaonti, plus Cheliaxians (the real rulers).

it is hard to do, what you need is ground zero.
then you can work your way out.

but mor importantly tell me this.
what is the point?
what for?
who is this to benifit?
where is your starting point?
then we can give you feed back, but just stating what is rare, what is uncommon, again is impossible unless you have a starting point.

you dont get what i am saying.

what is rare in andor, is not rare in absalom, you need to create some guideliness, otherwise no one will be able to help.

Dark Archive

egad....i think i might take the rogue after that last one, wow. brutal.

but we can laugh at it all now right? RIGHT?

cheers for story mate.

i started a thread about this recently, called True empire building.

dragon issue 125, best economics system ever. taxes, population growth, economy for empires.

a real empire building system, for running nations, not so much characters, but actual nations.

Brilliant horrible terrifying monster. Even Warhammer, back in the day, drew the jabber the same.

Remember this think is massive, its monstrous. And to be honest i know dragons are to be terrifying but seen them all, been there done it, and trying to stay in character its just a big lizard. The jabber is horrible, nasty, strange alien, combines a rabbit, and a lizard, and a bird, its a true monster....and it will rip our heads off and tear you a new hole.
lol
fav monster ever.

Dark Archive

hmm not sure of the warlock? point me in the right direction.

I was thinking you could split into two groups.

class and natural.

Some could have one or two one off abilities.
then you could actually have a class.

break them into a simlar school type idea, but something like damage spells, mutation spells, movement etc.

But treat them possible like spell like abilities, however to use them you must spend points from a pool, like ki, or grit.

just make their reistance liek those of divine or spell caster, then you no longer have problems.

In fact you could either do them like a traditional wizard, or sorc class, or you could make them like the Ki or grit features, just add a ton of them. as you go up levels you add new psi powers.

that way its not a masive list of powers/spells, that are either stolen from exisiting classes, have to be checked for fairness, etc...

this way you can build a cool group of powers. have them broken into types.
combat, movement, control etc...you pick a block, add feats to have more then one bloc. as you go up levels draw new powers, have a bigger psi power pool to draw from.

Dark Archive

what a troll pc?? what level would it be?

can you have a 1st level troll pc?

Dark Archive

see if i was the dm, and he put the party to sleep. i would have had a second nasty in the halls behind him, waiting for the rest of the party to ko.

god i hate twits that ruin it for the rest of us.

what makes me sad is if we could take all the people who post in the bad experience thread, we could make a damn good group.

sigh.
if only our game was made of people who enjoyed social interaction, role playing, and enjoying another humans company, with out having to "win".

Dark Archive

Your From Cheliax, therefore she knows her proper place...;)

Dark Archive

one major problem.
Andor might be uncommon to cheliax, but cheliax is uncommon to andor.

It totally depends on the country of origin, andor is common next to cheliax, and rivir kingdoms is rare.

but river kingdoms compared to a country beside it, no map numiria?

you have to pick an X point.
then everything will radiate out from X, so until you decide on your X country these tables are impossible to do.

Dark Archive

there use to be a native american game by TSR, i cannot remember if it was ad&d out or second ed. but google it up, it was in fogotten realms.

just pointing it out.

Anyhow.....i agree,if you start messing witht he elder outside gods, then perhaps you should leave best alone ;-)

Dark Archive

right on mate.

Rule 1. Role playing should be fun.

There are many times when arguments about how a pc and an npc interact, but somtimes you need to suck it up and metagame through problems pc to pc. but if the guy is an ass to party members, kick him out.

Dark Archive

see i disagree, the majority of knights could fight as well on foot as horseback. The samurai is a great example of playing a cavalier on foot. you are telling me that knights did most of their fighting on horseback? perhaps in grand melees, or at a joust. But the rest of the time? even in legends, it was their armor, their skills, their nobility. They should focus on things such as skills, the smite, is a great power, have mounted as either less of a focus, or one of two options, but right now they created a class that should either just die, or have options. The hound master cavalier was brilliant.

I do not understand why they continue to push an element of a class that is the worst recieved of the class.
just a thought.

Dark Archive

hmm in a game mechanic way how would one go about modifying the trolls so that when you chopped them up, new trolls would grom from all the parts?

a wish i suppose?

Dark Archive

on a note, i beleive that the monk was nerfed to bring it in line with 3.5 was it not?
i think their attack line was supposed to be like a fighter, but to keep in sync with 3.5 it wa done like a rogue.

I know there are twf focused threads on how to make it better, i have been, for the longest time, i wanted TWF to not have to be dex based.

there are options to do damage with dex instead of str, and there are options i beleive to use cha, or at least wis, instead of str.

IS it not possible to have a TWF that can use str as prereq instead of dex? or do i want my cake and eat it to.

I love fighters.
I love con and str, and i dont see why a strong fighter could not hold to friggen LIGHT weapons in both hands and smite the enemy with them

str does not =skill

yet the stronger you are the better you hit?
so why does this not apply to the stronger you are you now cannot hit well with two weapons?

Wait.
Str=to hit, not dex. It is not your agility but raw power.
But if you use two weapons its no longer str????

this makes no sense.
why not a single feat to allow str to sub in for dex, is this to much? does it unbalance the game? because you already can have a feat to use dex for damage right?
why not the reverse and i will spend the feat to use str for dex for TWF, would this be fair?
