So. According to the rules there is supposed to be a certain amount of money dropped from every encounter. Problem is: i played the first two adventures of the campaign now, and the money outcome is nowhere near what is suggested in the rules. In fact, the money my players get is barely enough to buy basic commodities. Looking at the basic prices of equipment there is no chance for y whole team of players to keep up with equipment and buy updates. Heck, our Soldier still uses her first weapon cause there simply is not enough loot in the whole two adventures to afford better. The 10% rule when it comes to selling loot also doesnt help.
How did you solve this? Did you just drop more money? Or do you keep your players hopelessly underequipped?

Thats the point. assuming that the average group is 4 or 5 players, with 4 players the group BARELY makes it to level 3 AFTER the fight against the final monster of the first book if you divide the story xp. With 5 Players, there is simply no way that the whole group is level 3 when you count every encounter and add every possible xp if you divide the story xp.
And leaving out xp wont work with my group. they LOVE them

My team of players and myself are unsure about how to award the 'story xp' in the Dead Suns campaign setting. Will the story rewards be given in full to every player, or are they divided by the number of players in the team?

Lets say : the 600 xp you get for finding the Maiden. Does EVERY char get them, or are they split by the people?

Ok, i am not very good at understanding rules from a rulebook, especially when they are in confusing order.

I have a few very basic questions about the game.

The 30 Blessings on the table that you flip every turn.

Are they just a measure of counting down how many turns you have until you lose? Or do they have any ACTIVE effect? Do i need to invoke them? I really dont understand what they are supposed to do.

Also check numbers. Lets take the Acolyte as an example. it has 4 skills in the checkbox and a number, i think 6. Do i need to roll ALL 4 of the skills to gain him? or just one of them? If i dont HAVE the skills do i just use the corresponding attribute?

Those are the two most important questions i currently have, but im sure more will pop up as i play the game.
