Nisa draws back her hood as she gazes at the large creature, before nervously glancing back at the storm.

Nisa turns her attention back to the creature before quietly saying, "It is a Dire Wolverine and it will fight us to the death if we come any closer."

Nisa approaches the centaurs body, and rolls back her sleeve and reachs out with one hand, as it begins to softly glow with green light. She takes a deep breath as vines of light creep across her fingers. She presses her hand to the centaur, and the vines creep across his wounds.

Maffei lunges forward rolling to close the gap and land on the flank of the lizardman champion.

As she lands the roll she swings out her black blade, the shadows seeming to leap to the blade as cuts into the creatures ankle

Saving Throw Reflex negates
Your kinetic blast surrounds your foes in elemental matter. Whenever a blast with this infusion deals damage to a foe, that foe becomes entangled for 1 minute. The foe can remove this condition as a standard action with a successful Escape Artist or Strength check (with the same DC as for saves against your kinetic blast) or by dealing an amount of damage to the entangling matter equal to double your kineticist level (the matter has hardness 0). If the foe was already entangled by this infusion and fails its save against a second instance of this infusion, the increased amount of elemental matter fuses to the ground, causing the foe to be rooted in place as though anchored to an immobile object.

Nisa closes her eyes and slowly grasps a hand out towards fleeing centaur. Vibrant flowers bloom beneath her feet, as vines slowly spread across her skin. Opening her eyes, she tightens her fist as the vines that had grown around it seem to tremble with excitement. The ground around the centaur roars to life and vines covered in thorns explode out around him.

Gather Power for my movement, then entangling infusion on my blast, taking one total point of burn. Reflex save of 16 to not get entangled.

Nisa steps back and throws her hands out, as thorny vines explode from her fingertips, slashing shallowly at the centaur's flank

Rolling outta my mind and straight into a gutter.

Nisa relaxes her stance slightly and pulls away from the group. She wasn't sure exactly what was going on but she was picking up a slight edge in the parties behavior, to her the apple looked simply delicious. As she tries to lean out of vision of the centaur, she pulls her hood tighter to her face thinking, "Strange creature offering plump apples, what an odd world."

"The caves will be much safer for our camp. Perhaps while they pack up and begin to prepare for the journey we can make a quick run to Gristledown. We need to contact them before they are caught unaware."

Nisa speaks softly, as she finishes her thoughts, "We need to stop further tragedies from befalling the people of these woods."

Nisa steps back as she throws her arms out wide, an explosion of life erupting underneath the spider she was just next to. The blast takes the form of an expanding thorny bush which entangles the spiders spindly legs.

Critical Confirm: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Boooooo.

Nisa draws back her hood, and slowly begins to gather energy to herself, as Rayne attempts to communicate with the strange beast. Nisa turns to face the strange spider-woman before speaking, "Listen to the half-elf, this doesn't have to end in violence."

Gathering Energy for both my movement and my standard action, and tried assisting Rayne's diplomacy.

"I have never seen webs like this, or whatever spider would place them. Be on our toes."

She pulls back her hood and starts carefully scan the area around them.

Nisa pauses as she looks over the plant before she points at the leaves and thorns. "That is a Bramblelash, a blood-thirsty carnivorous plant, it would be wise to avoid it. However those berries would feed an awful lot of mouths back at the camp."

Nisa looks down at the hobgoblin scout, and sighs deeply as she rolls back one sleeve. Green light slowly begins to pulse around her arm as she gently presses her hand onto the scouts wound. The light coalesces into small vines that seem to dig into the hobgoblins side. After a few moments, the wound was nearly gone, and the green energy then slowly fades away.

Nisa crouches low off in the distance, watching the others make short work of the sentry. Seeing the scout fall to the earth, Nisa prepares her own attack, knowing her blasts would create significant sound, she was waiting on her allies attacks before launching her own at the closest hobgoblin.

Nisa crouches near the tracks, inspecting them as the group discusses the scouts, "I can attempt to restrain them, I will just need to not hit them... too hard with my vines. Lets get a move on, before they get more distance between us."

Nisa looks out behind the party, checking the horizon while she spoke in a serious tone. "Perhaps they were scouts, waiting to see which way the Legion was coming from. When Ironfang moves, many creatures tend to notice."

She walks forward and steps over the bodies, before motioning to the path ahead of her. "Let's keep moving, and get some distance from here. Wherever that bird was meant to go will have their allies, and they will notice their guards are absent given enough time. "

Nisa throws out one hand as green energy surges around her. The energy coalesces into a solid form of vines that shot out like a spear from her open palm at the last troglodyte.

Your kinetic blast surrounds your foes in elemental matter. Whenever a blast with this infusion deals damage to a foe, that foe becomes entangled for 1 minute. Nisa steps back from the lizard and then stomps one foot into the ground as vines sprout rapidly across her body. She throws out her hand sending the vines forward plummeting towards the troglodytes like a pusling net.

I am using a special infusion called an Entangling Infusion on this blast. A Reflex save DC 14 allows the troglodyte to avoid the entanglement condition. I will post the full ability on the discussion for more specifics on it.

Wood Blast: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24
Slashing Damage: 2d6 + 10 ⇒ (4, 3) + 10 = 17

Nisa rolls back her sleeves, as she tries to follow Rayne's eyes to the location of the Lizard people. "What ugly creatures! And I thought goblins were the worst." Zeekan giggles softly in her head.

She steps forward a few feet, raising her hands to show they were empty of any weapons. "How many are there?" She whispers only a few feet behind Rayne.

Nisa examines the wound briefly, before raising one hand pulsing with soft green light. "A very deep cut...This may feel strange, but it will only last for a moment."

Without waiting for approval, she pressed one finger gently on his arm, as the green energy formed into what seemed like roots, digging into her arm. The room fills with a floral aroma for a few seconds. The roots spread across Dalvin's arm and shoulder blossoming into what seemed like wisps of flowers and leaves as warmth spreads across Dalvin's. Leafy twigs begin to sprout from her head and her arms become mottled with moss and creeping vines. As the energy fades, Dalvin's wound has mostly closed, small leaves of soft light drifting from his arm.

Healing Burst: 1d6 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7

Nisa stands back, pulling up her hood quickly.

"An infection of the soul, one we were all lucky enough to avoid." Nisa mutters to Dalvin while looking over the wights remains.

"Dalvin, may I see where the lynx wounded you?" She motions to the halfing, pulling hack her hood and stretching her arms.

Grunting in frustration, Nisa sends another pulse of wood energy into the whip if roots. In a motion oddly similar to a snakes strike, the roots lash out separating like 5 tiny spears aiming at the wights chest.

Piercing Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Nisa throws both of her fists forward, the corded whip of roots twitching with life, as dozens of needle like thorns burst out of it, shooting at the undead.

Nisa throws forward her hand and sends out a ripple of pulsating green light towards the wight. The ground beneath her feet, splits open as a dozen roots, cord together like a whip, lash out towards the undead.

Nisa's face twists in mixture of sorrow and relief as the lynx ceases it's attacks. Following fast on Dalvin's heels, she bursts into the cabin. Scanning the room, she sees Rolar with a bolt in his chest, she positions herself behind him, one out towards the wight.

Moving into the cabin, and putting myself between Rolar and Ranye

Nisa closes her eyes and breathes deeply. The grass around her feet explodes with life, pulsing with a soft yellow-green haze. As she exhales the ground around her ripples with life, as dozens of flowers sprout and bloom in seconds. At the peek of her exhale Nisa slams her fist into the ground causing a small branch-less tree to explode to life underneath of the lynx, angled to throw the beast back.

Wood Blast: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18
Blunt Damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13
Combat Maneuver Check: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (16) + 7 = 23

Gathering Energy for one round causing a very loud and noticeable effect within 30 feet of me. This also allows me to use a Pushing Infusion on my standard attack without burn. Pushing infusion allows me a combat maneuver to push back the lynx 5 feet per point of burn. In this case only 5 feet.

Nisa spins putting her back towards the cabin, scanning for the Lynx. Seeing where Dalvin shot an arrow, she clutches her fists tightly before throwing her hands out in front of her, shimmering green energy rippling down her arms. From in front of her feet, a small sprout cracks out of the ground, then explodes into a massive tree trunk hurtling towards the grass.

Ranged Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Blunt Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

Yes, sorry for the confusion. It is a Tiny Wood Elemental that is more or less part of my conscious, and it speaks to me telepathically. While its bonded to me that is the only way it can speak, and it works to give me the Alertness feat (I lose it while it is materialized.)

It can speak out loud as well but only when it materializes. You can hear me talk to it out loud. While normally a character could just speak to it in their mind, my character developed talking to it out-loud so she would feel less alone while surviving in the woods for a few years.

TLDR; Yes it looks like I talk to myself.

The giggling elemental, began singing in her ears in a far to cheery tone,"This is my favorite type of game! I wonder who it will pounce on. My sap tells me it will be the little one. It's always the little ones,"

Sorry about my lack of posting! Between the forum servers being down, then my loss of stable internet for a few weeks, and the election season (I work in politics) getting rougher and rougher, I have been out of the swing of things online.

While the group debates about which direction to explore, Nisa was leans against a nearby tree; close enough to hear, but far enough away she wouldn't draw attention. For now, her opinion carried little value with them, she she bites her tongue.

"This group needs a leader. Decisions take too long. The Legion is coming and it sounds like these warmskins, are looking for a vote. I will never understand them, their branches let them cross the earth and water, but give them a simple choice and a forest could grow faster than it takes for them to act."

Nisa nods, in agreement with Zeekan. The elemental tended to word things harsher then she would normally like, but his point did stand. They were wasting time.

Steeling herself for the attention, she walks into the group, and clears her throat softly. "Perhaps rather then discussing this we should act. The Ironfang Legion moves with clarity and speed. We should as well, if we wish to save as many as we can. I would recommend the camp elects a leader. One who can make the choices we need as quickly as they come." Her eyes land on the half-orc skald.

”What about Skalla?” she asks. ”She knows the refugees, has their respect.”

Nisa's hand hovers for a few seconds, before accepting the half-orcs. She smiles, her body language softening. "Thank you, Skalla."

Nisa tightens her cloak, so that few of her features remain, a habit she had picked up in past discussions of the Ironfang around campfires. She looks across the entire camp, in its depleted and wounded state. She stiffens as she begins to speak. "My past is a sore spot for me, Rolar Lonebeard, but there is information I must share before it becomes poison to us. I was born a member of the Ironfang Legion, a ‘specialist’ they called me. The role they gave to me I disagreed with, so I betrayed the Ironfang, freed a group of slaves, and... killed the guards around us. After making sure I was free and hidden, I have been living off the land in these forests for a few years laying low so that the Legion can't find me, but I stumbled into Rayne and Dalvin in need. Sarenrae has guided me before to where I am needed, so I take this as a sign to once again stand up against the Legion."

At the threat of the axe, Nisa walks forward and removes her cloak, showing her scarred body.

"I am not a prisoner, and I am not an Ironfang. This is what the Ironfang do to those who show kindness. Every scar on my body was a punishment for my weakness." Nisa runs her fingers across the deep scars on her face. She turns to look directly at Rolar, meeting his gaze. "I do not fear your axe or your threats of death, dwarf."

"They call you a monster, while threatening to cut your head off. I suppose the irony would be missed by them. Humanoids rely so much on hatred." the elemental giggled in her head.

Nisa winces in pain as she brushes the wasps off her shoulders. "Sore," she replies, spitting out a piece of blackened insect. "Give me a minute to gather myself."

The hobgoblin's breathing slows. She draws back her arms and tilts her head towards the sun. From the center of her body, a soft green glow suffuses her, and with a sharp exhale, small bright flowers and dark green moss burst from her wounds. The new plants wither as quickly as they grew, leaving no marks.

Her wounds taken care of, Nisa glances at the group as they began to gather up the apples. She smirks slightly as with a flick of her wrist, a wave of the elemental energy sails across the ground contacting each tree nearby.

Kinetic Healing: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
GM, I am using Basic Phytokinesis to tend to each apple tree near me, to act as though I am picking the apples.

Nisa swears loudly, diving out of the swarm. Rolling clear, she springs up and thrusts her right hand out over the large grouping of vines and creepers, her scars and eyes flaring with light. The vines burst into action, shooting from the ground like hundreds of small missiles, each one directed at the swarm.

Piercing Vine Attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (14) + 7 = 21
Piercing Damage: 1d6 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

Bonus to swarm x 1.5 damage to swarms = 4
Total damage to swarm 12.
I am moving 10 feet out of the swarm and then blasting it with a piercing damage attack.

Sorry about the slow posts guys! Typing in present tense is turning out to be much harder then I thought! At least we are finally about to claim the rightful loot. Apples. Dozens of Apples.

Nisa nods to the gathered party. ”Whatever happens, please do not be alarmed.” The hobgoblin throws back her cloak, opens her stance, and shuts her eyes. Her breathing slows and a green light suffuses her skin, her scars standing out brighter than the rest.

With sudden speed, Nisa thrusts both of her hands downward, the earth trembling where she aims. Exhaling sharply, she draws her right hand back, causing a sapling, small and green, to burst from the forest floor. The tree grows at breakneck speed, its wide trunk directly towards the hive.

Nisa turns to the group, wary of the aggressive human pointing his sword at her.

Zeekan giggles, its wispy voice filling her head, “Aggressive. Big. Probably strong although all soft skins look breakable to me. Best to not get the bad side of that one. Or at least take care of him first.” Nisa turns to the side and shakes her head, trying to ignore the diminutive elemental.

"From one prison to another..." Nisa murmurs to herself just barely over a whisper. She turns to the group, and speaks up, "Very well, Arthorian. Just know that should you try to restrain me, I will not stay compliant." Resolve flashes in her green eyes.

Nisa looks back to the wasps. "While making a fire most likely won’t draw the attention of the Ironfang,” she explains, thinking out loud. “All of the timber around here is either alive or rotten. Making a fire large enough to smoke out a nest that size will take more fuel then we have around us."

The hobgoblin points at the wasps buzzing around the nest. "As soon as they smell even the first wisp of the smoke, they will come out in full force, just as angry as if we were to throw rocks at them right now. With the added bonus of us being right underneath them."

Nisa glanced over at the wasps. She knew she could take care of them if they were a problem, but she would rather avoid it. She had been stung before and it was certainly not pleasant."If they want to get rid of the wasps, they aren't looking for a snack, they are feeding a group." Nisa nodded to herself.

While speaking, Nisa began to walk towards the wasp nest."Perhaps I can help with that then. I am assuming you need more then a handful of apples. How many people are you looking to feed?"
