About Nikola Lee
Nikola was fished up out of the sea, floating in an open treasure chest in the middle of nowhere. The ship was called the "Dreamer's Escape", a pirate ship that diguised itself as a traveling carnival when it wanted to make port in lawful lands and do some underground trading. At first they thought he was half fish because of his oddly aquatic blue skin and the little bit of extra webbing he had between his toes and fingers, barely noticeable until he stretched his fingers out. The captain, Captain Jack Lee, decided to take him on board as a blessing from Besmara; he called the child a "blue gem in a treasure chest" and began to train him as a part of their carnival.
Nikola was raised in the Shackles under Captain Lee's supervision and slept in his quarters on the floor. He never thought of it as degrading, only efficient when it comes to space on a ship especially considering he wouldn't have the money to live anywhere else. Of the many tricks he could have picked up, he learned to dance with a weapon the best. He was spotted one day dancing around with a broom as he swept up the captain's quarters and Jack knew exactly who would be the perfect mentor for him. There was a Dervish Dancer by the name of ________, and he had a show where he would dance with two scimitars and put on a dazzling display of swordsmanship. Jack had the genius idea to implement his weapon dancing along with a two-handed weapon instead, and create a whole new type of show. Nikola was a natural at dancing and created the routine on his own once he picked out his "partner" from _______'s collection of various exotic weapons. He named his Dwarven Longhammer ________ and started to practice with her daily, learning to use the momentum of the heavy end to twirl his body around with it as if they were moving each other.
Nikola spent a great life with the Dreamer's Escape but he craved more adventure. Running from the authorities and visiting the same ports after years and years began to wear at him and he yearned to visit the other cities of Golarion that the ship couldn't reach.
