Male Human Ranger 1
N'gawa stays by the rope though he is grateful that the rats seemed to have backed away. He helps Sasha back down the rope. As the others inspect the dias and the tiles, N'gawa watches the tunnels for any signs that the rats may return. Or for anything else that decides to follow them.
Male Human Ranger 1
N'gawa turns to listen to Zababa about the magical trap, when the sound of rushing water and squeals gets his attention. "Henry, what is tha-" He's cut off as the rats and water come out of a hole near the floor. "Henry, what do we do?! Is it safe to stay?" Normal rats, not dire rats? And is the water threatening to fill up the chamber or just make our feet wet?
Male Human Ranger 1
N'gawa makes a face at the sight of all the rat droppings. "Filthy!" He moves over to the east entrance and holds up the light to examine the ruins of the stairs. He looks to see how far down it is to the next level and whether he can see anything from there. Perception 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16

After Henry and Misha are down below, N'gawa takes his turn down the rope. Once down, he picks up the glowing branch Tshilaba had dropped down the hole. He holds it up and walks around the domed room, getting away from the hole in the roof which is letting in the rain. Climb, take 10 10 + 2 = 12

Perception, take 10 10 + 5 = 15 N'gawa shades his eyes with his hand and he peers out at the wreckage. "Something 'of the Loch'. No, not 'Loch'. 'Lash'. Something 'of the Lash'. 'Kiss of the Lash'! That's the name on the ship out there. Looks like she's taken quite a beating." He points to the island the ship is resting on. "Look, there's a sandbar hidden under the water. We could make our way out there if we wait for the tide to go in. Do you think it still holds anything?" Perception to judge how long the wreck has been there 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

N'gawa rises and it's clear the man is still groggy. He stumbles off to make water and clean himself up. When he returns, he's noticeably more awake. "Aye, a trip into the interior is what I want. I can help track the Captain if we do find evidence of their landing. And I want to see what kind of beasts are on this island."
Male Human Ranger 1
"Unfortunately, Zababa's right. I'm finished for the night. I must have overdone it on the boat." The hunter is still breathing heavily despite sitting down at the fire. Those near him can see a noticeable sluggishness to his movements. He nods at Misha's words. "We can scout the shore tomorrow and see if we can find signs of where they landed. Or we can scout the interior of the island some."

Rafflesia Iff wrote: "It is for me." N'gawa looks at Rafflesia and smiles. "But you are exceptional, my dear. Ieana was not touched by the god of nature as you are. Or so we think. But you are right, she may have a different viewpoint. If she is behind this, then we all underestimated her."

N'gawa whistles in a low tone as possibility comes up at that Captain was magically affected. "You think Ieana's behind all of this? That her intent was to crash the ship just to get on to this island? Wouldn't there be easier ways to do get here? Did Ieana even practice magic? She never stuck me as the type to want to be stranded on an island. She seemed to want to be left alone with her books. And this, " He indicates the island with a sweep of his hand, "is hardly a quiet library."

"The larder doesn't concern me too much. It would be nice to have the food, but we can find food on the island. But the supply hold, that could be useful." N'gawa looks at the others. "But that doesn't mean we need to go there now. I'm fine with checking out the Captain's cabin first."
Male Human Ranger 1
N'gawa goes to work slaughtering the centipede corpse. Between blood, guts, and the general stench of the meat, very quickly, the others avoid the butchering area. The stinking meat gets cut out in large chunks, which the hunter assures everyone is safe to eat. He even takes several of the smaller centipede's plates and fits them into his own leather armor, though as added protection or as decoration, you're not sure. By the hour's end, he is covered in gore and has several piles of meat cut from the bug. He covers each one with a cloth. "It would probably be good if we cooked much of this tonight." He begins making a large fire to roast the foul meat.

Sense Motive 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 N'gawa looks up at the sky as the storm ends. Then he turns to the others. "I think we should make the shelter and the longboat the priorities. If we can salvage other things from the Jenivere, then we'll have a better idea of what we might need from the jungle. We have a few stores of food now, and as unappetizing as it might sound, Sasha's right. We might be able to get some meat out of this bug here. "Siera, why don't you get a team together to help with the boat. Another group can work on the shelter and I'll see what I can salvage out of this corpse." He walks over to the centipede corpse and starts trying to butcher it with his dagger and shortsword to see if there's any usable meat. Survival 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21

"Until that armor of yours all starts to rusts!" N'gawa chuckles as he sees the dwarf standing out in the rain. The hunter has unstrung his bow again and dried off the bowstring before placing it back into the pouch. He looks up at the sky, hoping the rain will not last all night.
Male Human Ranger 1
N'gawa curses as he sees the centipede rear up and hiss at many of the others. Disregarding Siera's words, he smoothly draws an arrow and launches it at the beast, trying not to hit any of those fighting it. Afterward, he takes steps back to put some distance between himself and it. Ranged Attack within 30 feet into melee 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 1 = 9

N'gawa grabs the old longbow and a quiver of arrows, then jumps out of the side of the shelter. He circles around and pulls a bowstring out of a waterproof pouch, cursing as he exposes it to the rain. He strings the longbow and then begins making large motions with his arms. Those watching realize he's trying to cause the centipede to see him as a larger threat. Wild Empathy check to scare the beast off 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 Initiative, if needed 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

No worries. That's one of the interesting changes with Pathfinder. N'gawa looks at Tshilaba when he offers to use his bird to scout."Perhaps just send her up and back down at first. She could spot something interesting just doing that. Afterward maybe have her follow the coast line. There could be other things on the beach nearby."
Male Human Ranger 1
N'gawa huddles under the shelter with the others. He keeps an eye out for any holes or other signs of the construction unraveling in the face of rain and winds. While he hates the idea of hiding from simple rain, he knows the damage excess exposure to simple rainwater can do, especially if it continues for days. Tucked into his pants is a waterproof pouch he found on the beach, and it protects the bowstrings that he managed to dry out from the moisture of the rain. Out of the corner of his eye, he spots Jask still wearing the chains. "Oh for f!!@'s sake, Vargbrandr. Strike the chains. I don't care if he's lying or not. Where is he going to run off to? What is he going to steal? We're probably going to need him sooner or later too."
