Nevuda approaches Toriel in private bright and early in the morning, her hood casting a long shadow over her face as she speaks to her. "Why are these women so distraught about their men? Were they not failures? The orcs were able to overpower them, after all."

Glances at Jarkralzak more seriously as she explains, "Upon a single glance, you yourself condemned me as a creature of evil, only pausing to take reason based on prior knowledge. Those who do not know me, do not like me. When they are given arms, it is their intention to kill me. It is more practical for me to avoid this, rather than convince everyone to change their ways."

Nevuda shakes her head almost childishly as she firmly positions herself into hiding. "Guards don't like me. People yell for them every time they see my face." The guard caste of this plane is always malevolent towards outsiders...

Nevuda smiles softly, her eyes covered up beneath the shadows of her hood. "It is assuring to know that this group does not judge simply based on appearances." She remains still as long as Jarkralzak blocks her path, looking a bit out of place.

Nevuda once more returns her hand to its sling as she looks down at the ground. "I do not condone evil, I slay it." She murmurs as she walks past the group to take point, staring silently towards the horizon in the direction of their destination.

Nevuda steps forward as she places her hand onto Jarkralzak's shoulder, holding him back. "Perhaps he is just confused." She states simply as she turns her gaze upon Angus. She grasps ahold of the bindings to her cast as she unravels her previously unused hand, revealing a most disturbing sight to see. Whereas most beings would have the thumb of their left hand pointing towards the right, Nevuda's own left hand seems to have been placed on backwards, the digit extending from the left side of her palm in a twisted facsimile of normal anatomy. The removal of the sling also reveals a second hidden wakizashi which had been strapped to her chest the entire time. "Tell me, Angus. Do you understand what it is like to have the essence of evil imposed upon the flesh?" Nevuda states somberly as she examines her own hand, holding it up for display pointedly.

Considering no one has convinced my character to reveal her identity yet, the most she would share about her background is: how her people behaved back home, but not what they where or that is was another plane. How a grave injury and divine intervention lead her to these lands and into the care of a priestess. (or priest? I'm leaving all the details about this mysterious helper up to you in case you want to go somewhere with it) She spent couple of weeks in recovery, gaining meager knowledge about the land and the people's behavior here. She then decided to dedicate her life to slaying evil and set off on her own. It is clear she's seeking redemption for the things she's done, but the exact extent of her past atrocities are never explicitly stated, only hinted at. Other tidbits of info people might ask:
-Her bad arm has been that way since birth. (again not quite a lie)

Nevuda grin sheepishly at Toriel's question. "Well, to be honest I was completely lost... I had heard stories about some strange tower and was going to go examine it, but I don't really know my way around too well as of yet. This is why I asked to follow you. You seem to know where you're going to find the trouble, after all you came across me."
