Kinetic Blasts are not rays. However, they are a type of weapon.

Kinetic blasts count as a type of weapon for the purpose of feats such as Weapon Focus.

Since a Kinetic Blast is a ranged weapon, then the standard -4 penalty for shooting into applies.

Pretty sure you just defeated yourself.

That states they count as ranged weapons for FEATS. Logically we could then assume they don't count as ranged weapons for anything else, or they wouldn't point it out.

Thus, no -4.

That is conjecture, and possibly what may be pushed in errata, but as of now conductive's wording does not, as written, say that.

It's a logical conclusion to make (Uses up 2 uses on abilities with uses, therefor would cost twice as much burn), but not a RAW ruling.

Don't forget that conductive only REALLY works if you go fire/fire/(whatever) since you can only actually conduct energy blasts.

Or, y'know, picking your die roll once per day.

I guess it's one way to make scythes viable.

Pretty sure you're looking for spirit dancer.

Issue with spirit dancer is that it straight up doesn't work on certain skills. (Ah i'll switch to trickster to gain bonuses to diplomacy! oh wait a check takes how long? Well guess i'll run out of rounds before that...)

But it can obtain a reasonable pool of spirit dancer rounds by about level 5, allowing it to do things like, channel champion during a fight, switch to heriophant afterwards to heal, then switch to archmage to quickly cast a spell that is needed, etc etc.

The major issue is probably that you can commit feats to gaining more rounds of spirit dancing i guess.

I'd also like to see a more focused arcane Archer like class as well, though that could probably just work as a magus archtype or the like.

I'd be interested in seeing a 4th level caster version of a alchemist, and a 9th level version of a alchemist... i've had some ideas in my head for it.

One character concept a friend of mine has always had trouble accurately making is a form of puppet master character, who would have most of his abilities originate from his puppets.

Ah. That's disappointing.

It requires worshipping Zon-Kuthon, which is a downside but it's a really good feat for burn. You would need a ring of ferocious action.

An excellent item, thank you for pointing it out.

Please feel free to correct me if i'm wrong, but while the feat was obviously defined for zon-kuthon, wouldn't any god that fufills the areas of pain, loss OR envy also qualify you for this feat?

Does this feat help at all?

You gain a +4 bonus on saving throws against pain effects. Also, you suffer no adverse effect when your nonlethal damage equals your current hit points, and you become staggered when your nonlethal damage exceeds your current hit points. You never fall unconscious due to nonlethal damage.
