About Neferteri Sandyfoot

Background:

Hailing from Osirion, Neferteri, or Nefer to his friends, had already traveled to Absalom at the center of the world at the young halfing age of 30. His only desire, since his ability to voice a desire, was to become one of the renowned Pathfinders and bring dark places to light. His father, a respected caravan trader had known Pathfinders, and having been saved by a group of Pathfinders before Nefer was born always spoke highly of the organization. This only fueled an already hot fire so when it came time for further studies Neferteri Sandyfoot got his way and traveled to the famed libraries of Absalom to study in the universities there.

Neferteri was only slightly detoured when he found that the Society did not simply throw open their doors in membership to him. They actually told him to go home to his native sands, get some experience in archaeology, and then come back to apply to join the Pathfinder Society. The slightly excitable youth accepted this charter as his first Pathfinder assignment and set about getting back home to Osirion to look for adventure.

Neferteri is a bit Naive. He was raised by a moderately wealthy merchant family and sheltered from much that is wrong with the world. He is too quick to trust and a little idealistic.

Party Role:

Neferteri is a full arcane caster with 9 skill points a level and a vast array of possible skills. His current skill set is more focused on physical skills that capitalize on his small size. Even with his armor check penalty his acrobatics is +7 and his stealth is +9. He can find and disable traps both magical and mundane. And he is a decent party face with a +7 in Diplomacy and decent Appraise skill. As a bard he can roll all knowledge checks untrained and will be +3/+5 in these at first level. Plus he is trained in Arcana, Local, and Religion with those skills being +7/+9. When he needs to he can turn on his luck and gain an additional +2 to these skill checks. In combat Neferteri will be a spell caster but when he does fight he will prefer to do so from range. He plans to take archer feats, including Arcane Strike at some point. He is currently +6 to hit with his bow with his luck turned on and his damage while only a d4+2 will be consistent. With 10 uses of luck a day and Lingering performance Neferteri cam use luck for 30 rounds a day.

Appearance:

Nearly 40 years of age, Neferteri is somewhat dashing in his robes and armor. His hair has been bleached by the sun to a golden blond and his bright eyes are yellow. He prefers the traditional garb of hims people when in Osirion but knows how to blend in when traveling abroad. He is friendly and diplomatic, but mostly he is curious. He prefers the company of other halflings in his private life and generally does not trust tall folk til they’ve earned his trust.
