"I suppose if you put it that way," he has to agree with the logic of Orrik, and starts to remove stones along side Markov, "But if some undead horror lunges out and bites my nose off I get to tell you 'I told you so'"

"Just a cairn, want me to upturn some rocks? Mixed feeling about disturbing the dead. On one hand, its not my culture and might have some goodies, on the other... well, Ancient barbarian burial grounds sound like a ghost story waiting to happen." He asks the others

Sense Motive: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 "Hot springs and giant frogs? Alright, I'm game," He nods to the wizard's suggestion. At the mention of booze, the half elf chuckles, "If we can't find booze, some sort of ribbons or other bright things might be enough should we run into the fey folk again."

"Good day to you, sir," Nedyr smiles noting stew is definitely on. When the lad offers his services, Nedyr chuckles as Nicholas seems on the wisecraking type. But it's the poster that gets his curiosity, "Falgrim Sneeg? With a name like that, I'd turn to crime too." when Nicholas has taken Orrik's horse, Nedyr flips him a silver for his own "Thank you, young man." then walks on in to greet Swetlana Quote:
"Biscuits and gravy sound wonderful, as long as someone kept his beard out of the main of it," He grins, "Have you seen Jhod?"
Male Half Elf Swashbuckler-1/Rogue-1 (HP: 17/17; AC 15, 13tch,12 ff; F+1.R+8, W+0)
Nedyr starts to secure the horses, "Want me to take the lead in the cave? And to answer your question about after that... I'm for exploring the area around the temple at the very least. We want Jhod to have a safe path when he does come here."

Nedyr puts the dagger's hilt near his ear for a moment, "mmm...what's that? Drink, carouse, and gamble? Yes, master." Then he winks at the others. At the talk of their memories possibly being played with, he seems amazed, "Why would they tell us something only to make us forget again? Odd."

Quote: Shrugging, Markov looks at the dagger, with new found caution. And by what she said, this dagger is what helped cause that curse? I don't know... But, a adamantine dagger has its uses. He weights the dagger in his hand and then passes it to Nedyr. "You seem a bit more talented with such blades. Hold onto it Nedyr. And Mahdrig..." He walks over to the opening of the thicket bushes where she said that creature was. He looks around for any unusual tracks there. Nedyr had also been staring at Mahdrig in a dubious way, but he takes the dagger from Markov, "Mmm... could be useful but its not going to curse me, is it? She said it was part and parcel of the curse. I've been cursed AT but I'm pretty sure I don't want to have an actual curse on me."

Then he forgets.
Quote: "...can anybody else see it? All I'm seeing are glints of sunlight reflecting off of ripples in the water." "mmm?" He jerks his head over at the clear water Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7"I don't see anything either, though the water looks very fresh indeed. Maybe it wasn't so bad to start with?"

"I think it likes the flavor of you," Nedyr warns, and tries to work the sides lunging to pierce its thick hide
Hey, possible crit since it's a rapier: to confirm? 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
I think I just hurt this sucker for 13 points! Not bad. Nedyr's rapier strikes deep into a joint, piercing fur, flesh, and sinew.
Male Half Elf Swashbuckler-1/Rogue-1 (HP: 17/17; AC 15, 13tch,12 ff; F+1.R+8, W+0)
Nedyr has to confess that Markov's confidence is contagious. While the cavalier takes on the creature face (and claws and teeth) first, Nedyr finds himself weaving to its flank and then stabbing from the side. To hit with Masterwork rapier 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
"You know, this situation has gotten hairy really fast..." He quips nervously as that attempt was not his best.
Male Half Elf Swashbuckler-1/Rogue-1 (HP: 17/17; AC 15, 13tch,12 ff; F+1.R+8, W+0)
Nedyr knows he's done better in the past than this, and is a bit sheepish. Then he sees the cavalier come through "Ouch. Markov, On second thought, maybe you should get some healing first... if we do meet a bear, you're half eaten already."
Male Half Elf Swashbuckler-1/Rogue-1 (HP: 17/17; AC 15, 13tch,12 ff; F+1.R+8, W+0)
After finding a safe place to secure his horse if it can't go through, Nedyr attempts to move through the bramble quietly and safely Reflex 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (3) + 8 = 11
He comes through with a minor cut or two Ow.
Male Half Elf Swashbuckler-1/Rogue-1 (HP: 17/17; AC 15, 13tch,12 ff; F+1.R+8, W+0)
When the bear tracks are found and shown, Nedyr says with a low whistle, "So we're on the right path...but that thicket is going to take work. Anyone have any ideas? I think whacking away at it will have to be done eventually but we will certainly not be sneaking up on anything, let alone a bear, if we start making a ruckus like that."

I sure hope Perlivash takes no offense to that 'true dragon' comment, hopefully he wouldn't. "Well, it sounds like with the bear and the tatzlywrms, there are many dangers. Thank you, good folk of the fae. Your warnings prove invaluable."
