Alright, I have been thinking and I have decided I will still play a ranger. Most likely I will go with human. The other option would be for you to open up the trade where I would drop Favored Enemy and Quarry/Improved Quarry and only take Ranger's Focus and Inspired Moment from the guide archetype in the advanced players guide. I know we aren't using stuff from other books but it is just an option. I got the idea from this thread.
Not entirely sure what units I get and what units are 'exotic' but here is a go: Name of Country: Numeria Alignment of Country: CN Leader of the Country: Kelki-Kon or Kevoth-Kul(Barbarian) Exotic Units:
I have been trying to make a Witch for an upcoming game and have run into two problems. 1) How do I factor skill ranks for my familiar. I know I get the same ranks as my master gets in skill he puts a rank into. I also get skills as the base creature (owl). As I level up, does my familiar gain skill ranks as they gain hit dice and intelligence? 2) Familiars start at intelligence 6. What does this mean for how you control them using handle animal? Does it just mean I get more tricks, or does it make it easier for me to handle them. Handle animal is not a class skill for a Witch so I am not sure I could effectively use handle animal on my Familiar. Also at 5th level Familiars can talk to their masters. Does this make it easier to control them? Thanks, any help would be great.
Hello all you smart people! I have a question about magic items and ability scores. In the staves section under using staves it says, "Because they use the wielder's DC for the spell, spells from a staff are often harder to resist than those from other magic items, which use the minimum ability score required to cast the spell." So from this I take it that a fist level wand is used with a 11 ability score. Does this mean that a wand of burning hands would have a reflex save of 11? This makes no sense! What am I missing? I could find no other mention to this any were else in the book.
I have a few questions about wizards in the pathfinder society. 1. Say a wizard finds a scroll. When does he get to put it into his spellbook and for what price. There was something about this in the guide to the pathfinder society but when it changed I could not find it any more.
Thanks,
