Naomi quickly peers towards the older half-elf, as if someone has got between a predator and its prey. She mentally shrugs off the notion and relaxes, acknowledging the wisdom to his words. "I see. It is a game to improve oneself in addition to improving teamwork." She walks to the perimeter of the game area and watches the ball.

She raises an eyebrow towards the regal tengu. I don't think I have heard of any games like this. Oh well. "I must say I have not heard much of such noble games though. Maybe there are others as well that will, promote such... Qualities." She eyes the ball, waiting for it to come near. Though while she waits she begins to move gracefully in a practiced, circular motion.
Taking 10 for Perform (Dance): 10 + 10 = 20

While dancing, she tries to recall what the Tengu mentioned of these Kami creatures. I wonder what they are... Are they spirits?

She furrows her face trying to recall specifics of these Kami, but it eludes her. Feeling a bit frustrated, she takes a deep breath to calm herself before she speaks. "I believe I have heard of these Kami, but I do not know of what they are. It is frustrating when it might very well be known by the society. That is something I sadly lack."

She continues to dance in a calm motion, making sure to keep her eyes on the ball as it gets passed around. When it comes close, she interrupts its movement by flicking it up into the air with her tail.

And having it land on a forearm, she lets it roll to her shoulder before it goes down her back. She bounces the ball over her head with her tail, letting it land on top of a foot. She then gracefully bounces the ball towards another player nearby. "I think I like adding a little bit to it. If nothing else, I improve my skills at balance." She lets out a slight chuckle that sounds more like a slight growl before continuing. "But I think one can prove how well they can contribute as well."

A teifling in a graceful blue vudrani styled dress walks over behind the regal tengu, trying not to disturb the game they are playing.

Stealth, Take ten: 10 + 8 = 18

She watches quietly for a bit, intrigued by it. Once her interest is perked, she speaks calmly to him. "That does seem to be an intriguing game. Though why cooperative? Shouldn't games like these show superiority? Or to improve one's ability? Seems like a waste otherwise."

"Wow, sounds like you were already Pathfinder Material even before you joined!" As Naomi grins like a cheshire cat. Naomi then stands to greet Inspel Veskel Sr. "And it is an honor to meet you. Even I have heard of your family, I heard that your family have been making strides within the Society. You must be rather proud of them, and of Torquat. And I must say it is interesting to see there are also other families invested...?" Naomi has a quizzical look on her face before she continues. "Interested? In the Society as well. Oh, our meal is here Naomi, looks to be rather interesting as well!" As Naomi finishes speaking, she sits back down as a porter comes in with different meals in different steaming boxes. He takes the various platters out of the boxes and places them on the table in front of Naomi and Ayaki.
"Ma'am, you meal has been delivered."
Naomi grins and gets out a pouch with gold coins in it.
"Thank you for the delivery." Naomi is about to give it to the porter before he speaks.
"No need Ma'am, just doing my job. Enjoy your meal." And with that, the porter leaves to do what ever work he has to do.
Naomi puts away the pouch before turning to Ayaki. "Looks like we can eat now. Enjoy yourself."

Naomi holds up her hand to quiet the halfling.
"Evan, I know you recently joined, but please calm yourself. And about Dalinia, she is a bookish sort, have you tried the lodge's library? Anyway, when you leave, please send someone to fetch a decent meal for us, we're famished." The halfling nods then hurries out of the room to continues his search.

Naomi sighs a bit. "Sorry about that, that was Evan Bristletop, he recently joined about the same time as Ayaki. He tries to make sure everyone who we are friendly with within the Society as a whole, to be able to get to their missions on time." Naomi shakes her head a bit. "He might also be a bit eccentric for a halfling, he wears shoes."

"So that is was what happened. Heh~ Ayaki, I didn't know you were a drinker?" Naomi smirks at Ayaki. "Though do not worry. I am only kidding." She looks at Lady Jasmine when she explains why she frowns. Naomi seems like she might be slightly offended. "Hm. While I do not care about your family relations, it is you, whom I know. And you suggest a taint? My Rakshasa heritage grants me a boon, a chance at a better life in this one, and the next. As only the gifted ones rise in station, the ones who blunder greatly, tend to be reborn as lowly insignificant creatures. Those of the beastbrood, with guile, and determination, unlike other Tieflings, will achieve a better life. And not ground into the dirt where some of them might belong." Naomi lets out a loud sigh when she finishes her rant. "My apologies. I find it slightly offensive that people don't understand that there are other kinds of Teiflings out there." Naomi waves her hand in front of her face, her face takes on a calmer appearance. "Anyway, so what have you learned so far Ayaki?" She looks at Naomi with a gentle smile.

"Ah, there you are Ayaki! Hows my favorite kitsune this day, hm?" Naomi stops behind Ayaki then looks around. "Oh, greetings everyone. I am back from my little adventure up north, and seeing how to ride shields as sleds. Didn't go that well." She then stands beside Ayaki and smiles. "I see you met Ayaki. She came here recently from Tien Xia. She's a wonderful girl. Fit of mind and body, I hope she gets to experience an adventure soon." She continues smiling before Looking for a place to sit with Ayaki, pulling her gently by the hand to a nearby table with chairs. "By the way, on my way over here, there are people training outside in the rain. While I can understand on being prepared, I don't understand why you would risk a cold or worse from that."

"Ayaki, where are you?"
Naomi walks down a hallway and stops at a doorway that is open to the training grounds of Skyreach. She shakes her head at the sight of training in the rain. Naomi continues walking down the hallway, mumbling something.

A little bit later you can hear her shout again.
"Ayaki, where are you?..... Oh, there you are, Ayaki~!"

After the initial diplomacy checks to impress "Halanti(sp?)" on the ship, I don't think the PC rolled under 40 on diplomacy all night long. (Charisma 20, level 5 Scroll Scoundrel with persuasive, max bluff and diplo, Coax information and rhetorical trick, Plus an oracle and two paladins aiding her...)

There was a great moment where they found the masterwork shield, and someone pointed out it could be used as an improvised sled if they had no better use for it. On of the PCs jumped on to demonstrate, and immediately took off down the tunnel further into the complex (which they had not yet gone down (and as a result I had not yet placed that part of the map)

GM: "Okay, give me two acrobatics checks."
PC: "Why two? Okay. 26, and 7"
GM: "Well, you shove off quite gracefully, and careen across the floor into the tunnel, and out the other side, where you see the floor ahead of you end. You try to stop, but you are going too fast..."

Fortunately, he was yanked back at the last moment, largely due to the fact that I miss understood one of the other PCs powers... I was going to have him stopped by rubble, teetering on the edge of the 20 foot drop anyway, but it was funny to watch the players sudden realization of what they had just found. (Their first though by the way was that they had just found out what that part of the sky key did, and were momentarily unsure if they should go on looking for anything that blatently destructive.)

"Er.. I was the one that decided to go for a sled ride. It did not go well, but was pulled back, and kept going into a wall."

I will say that it was fun, yet funny at the same time. I would have had minimum damage though due to Boots of the Cat.

"Well, I must agree. Such arrangements are just not fun."
A woman with Dark black hair, with an orange/bronze tinted skin, and wearing light blue Vudrani robes with gold trim walks into the room. "But that is only my opinion. It's a lot more fun here, don't you all agree? So." The woman, walks over to Ami, with a tail behind her that is holding a wine bottle. She retrieves the bottle from her tail and hands it to Ami. " I don't know if that might make your day, but it wasn't really being put to much~ use." after that, she turns to leave, but then turns back around. " And I believe one must be able to choose where they are headed, to lead, or look for a leader. And I am quite sure everyone in our Society of adventures can attest to that!" Naomi gives Ami a small bow. "And my name is Naomi, it was interesting to meet you all, farewell." She turns to leave and heads on out to find more entertainment elsewhere.

"Oh, is this the new noble I have heard of? Hm~" A woman with dark black hair, and skin with an orange tinge, and wearing light blue Vudrani outfit. Her tail flicks a bit behind her.

"Oh, you're Giovanni. It is nice to meet you." She looks at Giovanni in a appraising manner. "You look like you might be interesting company. But I have a feeling you might not like my company." Her tail flicks behind her again as she finishes speaking. Naomi begins to leave, but stops near Ardisen. "By the way, my name is Naomi. Maybe you should familiarize yourself with other notable people within, and definitely of those without our noble faction. Never know who might give you an edge over someone you may... Dislike." As she finishes, her tail snatches the wine bottle that Ardisen was holding, and she gives him a smile before she continues walking away.
