Seeing a bandit get closer to her and Alyssa, Nadyra takes a step back and begins chanting her sleep inducing spell, as planned, even if she is a bit unsure if it will prove as effective now that the enemies are more spread out.

5ft step, casting sleep

Nadyra quietly follows Alyssa and Angus and prepares herself to cast her sleep inducing magic as planned.

Sleep takes a full round action to cast, so there's not much I can do during this round - I was thinking of moving her into range during the surprise round, but staying back with Angus until the Entangle was cast made more sense, so everything got delayed for a turn.

Prepated spells:
1st (2/day)- Sleep (DC 12); Cure Light Wounds (DC 12);
0th (at will)- Ghost Sound (DC 11); Guidance (DC 11); Light (DC 11);

Sensing Alyssa's worry, Nadyra places a soothing hand on her shoulder as they take their place, speaking to her with a calming voice as they finish their preparations.

"Don't worry, Alyssa. My magic might not be as powerful now, but I'll make sure no harm comes to you. And we're not alone in this - if we all stand together, I'm sure we'll get through this."

She then turns to Angus and addresses him as well.

"I'll stay back here. I'll try to use my magic to place them all asleep, but that incantation takes a bit of time and focus. I have also prepared a curative spell in case anyone gets hurt - if you need it, do not hesitate to call upon me and I'll come running. I just ask that you help me keep Alyssa safe through this battle."

"Speaking of additional magic to stop them from attacking, I might be able to place them under a sleeping spell. My power is... A bit limited, however, so it might not be much effective, unless the bandits have particularly weak minds."

"I should be able to cast it from a larger distance than Alyssa's spells, but it takes a bit more time and focus to do so."

Conversation with Nadyra
As they left the barn he explained. "Actually, I'm not very familiar with most of my land either. I've seen maps, but I've only been to a couple of places and those were to get the charter and come here. Where do you and Alyssa hail from?"

"We've been living together in a small village at the southern edge of Brevoy, right near these lands. You might even have passed it on your here." Nadyra replies, as they rejoin the others. "Oh? Seems like we have another new arrival." She adds, as she spots Rahaal, giving the newcomer a curious look.

Just replying to Angus question and rejoining the side dialogue with the main one :)

Before, at the barn

Nadyra smiles as she sees the young man's embarrassment while he tells his story, and she accepts the brush as he hands it and uses it on Mirin, while replying to him.

"I'm not familiar with most of your land, so you'll forgive me if the names you mentioned mean nothing to me. The man who raised you though, - Gunnar, was it? - seems like a wise man, and I'd say he was right in having you raise Harbinger."

As Angus excuses himself to bring Harbinger in, Nadyra joins him, bringing the Mirin, the white mare she and Alyssa arrived with, along as well.

"I'm sure these two are a bit tired after their journey here. They deserve some rest as well"

She smiles as she watches Angus taking care of his steed.

"Angus, right? It's nice to see how much you care for your friend, and how much he cares for you. I can tell you two share a pretty strong bond."
