Cimri Staelish

Cimri continues to breathe heavily as she waits for Wolfgang to sit up. Once he does, Cimri adds, "That looks pretty bad! I'd hate to be you right now."

"I also hate to be me right now. Know how I was looking into my Aunt? Well, I found out that she planned to take a stand against Razelago. How she knew about him is beyond me. But, that's where the trail went cold. Until 5 minutes ago. Because, well, you see, uhh,

"The Ash House is on fire,

"and as I checked it out, the old deputies were out front."

Cimri quickly turns and begins running out of the cathedral, yelling, "I'm going to see if I can stop her! Catch up when you're ready."

At a quick sprint, the Ash House is a few minutes away, but for story reasons, Cimri definitely gets there first no matter what you do.

By the time the miscreants try to say anything back, Cimri has already jumped off one of the balconies and is sprinting to the Ash House, already out of earshot.

"Honestly, I'm pretty sure I'd have made that connection already." Cimri admits. "Though, it's not impossible."

Cimri paces for a bit, lost in thought for a moment. "I'm going to see if I can't find more information about her."

Anything else today?

Cimri grunts a weak, "What?" as the miscreants wake her, but she listens intently before continuing.

"From what I heard, Jask was always a bit proactive about things he didn't like. Rhona, though...She'd usually stick to doing things the right way, whether or not they took forever. Though if Jask is working with them..." Cimri trails off before swinging her feet around and finally standing from her cot.

"Considering I've lost any and all contact with Rhona as of late, it's probably safe to assume she's got some kind of plan going that she doesn't want me to know about. Probably safe to assume she's dangerous at this point. Heard some rumors that she walked into the woods about a week ago now and hasn't been seen since. From what I've gathered, that's a truth, not a rumor."

The miscreants return to the jail, where they're immediately approached by Cimri. The sound of faint yelling accosts their ears as they approach.

"He's just been yelling like that. Since only a few minutes after you left. It's been attracting all sorts of attention. It's not even intelligent yelling either, and he wouldn't stop no matter how much I threatened him."

"Uhhm. Guys?" Cimri shouts as she jogs from the town center towards the jail. "Guys. So, uhh, you should, uhh. You should come see this. The town square is absolutely buzzing today. For two reason really. The first:" Cimri holds up a handwritten flier bearing rough sketches of a woman in armor and a familiar angelic helmet. "This is popping up everywhere. The town post was absolutely plastered in 'em! They were nailed to benches, doors, porches, you name it. Here, there's writing on the bottom!"

Cimri hands the parchment to somebody, and the bottom reads Will you come when she calls?

"That's a bit less pertinant an issue as the dead body the townfolk found in the forest. They dragged it into the square and doc Rohalendi is trying to determine cause of death. Pretty sure they're gonna find a way to pin it on us if we don't intervene."

Cimri stops and takes a deep breath. "Other than that, though, town's looking great!"

"Rise and shine a$$#oles." shouts Cimri. She takes an apple and tosses it to Sicaria with a "Think fast!"

"Let's get Caggan out there again."

Cimri Staelish

Cimri smiles as she grabs Kels' mostly broken lute. "We gonna kick the loser out tonight? Or tomorrow morning?"

At the question of more places to eat, Cimri sighs. "If you like bland slop and watered down mead, The Arch and Lark is the only other place here in town for food."

The mission wrote:
“If it pleases Your Lordship, our friends here should arrest The Last Stand’s owner, Bolgart Caggan, for defying the new law. I suggest pillorying him in front of the jail as an example to others. Additionally, see what you can find out about the Angel Knight from Kels.”

"We were told to pillory him. Without a duration, I'd assume the pillorying is indefinite, and that we're expected to stay here and keep the man alive and on display. Show the people we aren't a bunch of pushovers who put our personal comfort over the will of the Archbaron."

Cimri kicks her feet up on the nearby table and begins playing with the business end of a dagger. "I think we just ought to wait until we have more orders. For now, we pillory Bolgart. As for Kels, if we wish to throw him out so be it. He's an imbecile with less-than-half-decent musical talents anyways." (The requested GM nudge)

"Let them go? They're lawbreakers. What kind of example would we be setting for the town if we just let them go." Cimri says through a mouthful of food. "We're being paid for this. Maybe fancy-pants here can deal with sleeping in less-than-oppulent conditions for the gold, cuz I sure don't see any OTHER gold making it into his pocket! I noticed his coin pouch was rather empty as soon as he started his whole better-than-thou parade."

You'll all have to let me know if I'm going too far. I...I tend to do that. I mean no ill-intent out of character.

Cimri speaks from the corner as she begins chopping up some kind of squash. "I mean, without my sash I can't operate in the open. I wouldn't mind keeping these losers alive."

This is the other picture of Cimri...forgive me. I couldn't find the same one Hawthwile was using.
