Two of the creatures on the ground survive our heroes' retaliation!

One misses the good Captain, despite him flinging his shield! The one that nips at Caledon looks like it would die from a swift kick.

Those safely distant from the bursting behemoth see—within the raining acid—five creatures raining down with the blood!

Four are much like the creature Biff became, except they can only attack with their face! Their bodies are the froghemoth's tentacles!

The fifth is similarly serpentine (or tadpolish?), but its tail is the froghemoth's tongue!

All five hit the ground HARD!

The one that lands near Alistair dies on impact! Its face plunges through the dock, shattering boards and bones and spattering rancid entrails!
