You are a fire giant, wouldn't you give light?

Female Apostle Kyton

As the collar slipped off her neck Muscini could feel her power return. That, and the voices. Only then did she realise how blissfully quiet the days since her awakening here had been. She looked at the collar with new-found appreciation.

She sighs before making a request to her fellow prisoners, "If you haven't destroyed your collar already, please don't. They might be of use to us later. Not sure yet how but I'll figure it out." She then sits back before mumbling a few words.

Cast Detect Magic

Female Apostle Kyton

Muscini mutters some curses in Infernal and the continues in the common tongue, "That leads me to my next question. How many people in here are able to keep a coherent thought for more than a few seconds?"

She looks around, paying special attention to the weird dog.

Aw crud, did I end up making the party face by accident?

Muscini has 20 Cha and has a +10 or higher in all three social skills. She just needs aid from someone with decent Sense Motive.

Add to that that eventually she'll fascinate all that look at her (assuming they fail their saves at least once) and she'll do pretty well in convincing people.

She was built as a caster but as an Oracle that means you'll almost automatically be a decent party face as well.

When the Gnome looked at the weird aberration she just smiled before turning away. She's a Kyton, minds don't get a whole lot more alien and insane

"Muscini. And yes, I intend to get away from here though I'm not sure yet how. I've been waiting too long to waste my current state on this sorry spectacle." While her tone is pleasing throughout the last part is clearly tinged with frustration.

Female Apostle Kyton

"Don't get your hopes up. I've seen all the kings of the current ruling family rise and fall and they're all boring and bland in their own way. Except for Markadian the third but they called him mad and threw him from a tower."

The pleasant, almost musical voice comes from a small, grey skinned humanoid creature. Though it at first glance one might mistake it for nothing but a strange Gnome there is something distinctly off aout the small woman. Perhaps it's the patterns of scars that trace her entire body or the many piercings. Her large, golden eyes appear to pierce anyone caught in her gaze, as if she looks straight into your mind.

OK, not entirely unexpected.

That said, it's the only monster feat for which I qualify so all I can do is swap that to my Gift of Madness revelation.

Kind of odd though, all that remains of my monster part atm is darkvision, a +2 on Bluff, Heal and Intimidate, Cold resist 5 and doing 1 damage if I touch people.

From the entry on the Kyton subtype

Kyton subtype wrote:
Unnerving Gaze (Su) All kytons have a gaze attack that manipulates the perceptions of those who look upon them. An unnerving gaze has a range of 30 feet, and can be negated by a Will save—the exact effects caused by a particular kyton’s unnerving gaze depend on the type of kyton. All kytons are immune to the unnerving gazes of other kytons. Unnerving gaze is always a mind-affecting fear effect. The save DC is Charisma-based.

But as I added above, the simplest solution at the moment would be to stuff Muscini in a bag.

Female Apostle Kyton

Hello all.

Before I post in gameplay I think there one thing that should probably be addressed with my character; Unnerving Gaze.

What is basically does is that anyone who looks at me needs to succeed at a DC 17 will save or stand there fascinated until something breaks them out. Though if that something ends they'll need to save again.

Our undead friends and the blind medusa are immune to it (it's a mind affecting fear effect so that saves the undead and the medusa can't see me) but that still leaves everyone else. I'm not sure how that should be solved.

EDIT: It's easy to solve for the prison scene though, just stuff Muscini in a bag.
