Totally understandable, as that's almost exactly the issue I had run into when I just recently ended the games I was running. It was indeed a pleasure gaming with you in each campaign. Both Arakan and Mulluq were much better characters for having been able to live in your worlds.
Not used to sneaking around, Mulluq is caught off guard a little at the sudden entrance of an enemy.
Mulluq readily returns to as far in the front as the group allows, understanding that Jod may still intend on acting as scout.
"Lady Valerious, do not deplete the charges on your wand unless I am unable to provide enough to most of the injured. Everyone, gather round, that I may beseech Iomedae for her blessing in seeing all of you returned to fighting form in her name."[/b] Mulluq strides toward the center of the group of injured and waits for the injured to draw in, then he calls out a prayer to Iomedae.
SOuLless Demon: Mulluq nods, and offers no other words, moving forward and getting as much grip as he can toward lifting the gate.
No SOLo mio: "Master Eastwind, if the traps about this place are the warnings of the Inheritor, allow me to stand before her and be judged for my actions. I will press this button you indicate and accept whatever decision she has for me." Mulluq approaches the door, shield up before him and a prayer on his lips.
I can saaaaAAAaaave your Sol: Mulluq's gut reaction is to touch his holy symbol in agreement with the prayer, but he puts no deeper meaning into it.
I sold my Sol to the company store: Mulluq is eager to race off with the armies, but instead he understands that his allies from the beginning may need him more. "Master Eastwind, I would of course ask to take the lead, but I have no eyes for triggers or the sort. If you feel a spot may be dangerous, allow me to tread the path first instead. I can weather the brunt of many attacks."
Mulluq responds to Kira's warning, "It may have already shown its face, as the morale of the troops seems low in light of the recent event, and a commander with low morale himself will likely contribute that aspect to his men."
"No, Lady Valerious, if they are all standing near enough together I can tap into my heritage to find the seed of evil that rests within anyone in a fairly large area. With little more than a minute, I would be able to find one man with wickedness in his heart among a large crowd." Mulluq seems saddened by knowing what his power is, and how he has to tune into it, even if it can be useful to root out evil.
Mulluq offers a little insight to Kira, "There does not appear to be any guilty party among those assembled from what I am able to sense. If the entire force were formed up, I could try to get a sense of all of them." Mulluq eyes Krimmos. His attitude just seems to grate on the teifling, and he thinks there may be something not quite right with him.
Mulluq merely looks at her before responding with a simple, "Yes, Lady Valerious."
Mulluq moves up to the other side of the body as the group investigates. Looking only briefly at the body, he turns his attentions to the group gathered and focuses first on looking for any signs of ill intentions or guilt, scanning the crowd for signs of evil. As he does, he stares at the faces assembled to try and assess if anyone looks like they know something about the incident.
Leaning over to Kira he suggests, "We should take a current role call of who is present and who isn't. It does not give us much, but it gives us a place to start looking."
Mulluq listens attentively as they walk, curiosity and confusion evident on his face. When she finishes, he responds, "Lady Valerious, I never looked on you as my guardian as much as my handler; there to ensure I was not the threat to the citizens that my horrific appearance belies, as is an appropriate and just response to my arrival. That said, I appreciate your sentiment but still defer to you, not out of obeisance but out of respect. I am proud to be able to think of you as my sister in arms, fulfilling Iomedae's glorious designs, even though I still consider myself unworthy of being thought an equal. Does this confession weigh heavy on you that you asked me aside? In our prayers, we shall ask the forgiveness of the Inheritor, for your sentiment toward me, and my over-welling of pride in receiving such a gift." He kneels blade down, with both hands on the hilt and head on the pommel as is his usual stance, and begins to pray.
Mulluq listens to Sol's story, disinterestedly at first, until the mention of angels from Desna. "The gods are great and powerful, but you were blessed that it was a Goddess of Good that noticed you. Maybe she has plans for you, and you should truly listen to the messages she sends you. Divine notice should not be taken lightly." He actually seems to look at Sol with a hint of cheer, counting the man lucky for having the Goddess' attention. Mulluq turns to look at Kira as she calls his name, but stands abruptly at the request, "I would love to share worship of the Inheritor, as our prayers joined could further empower her to look after this mission we've undertaken, and all the souls fighting the good fight in her name."
Mulluq feels admonished by Captain Krimmos' words and look toward him, but he is soon rid of the thought as both Kira and Sol suggest that leaving quickly still allows them time to plan. He is eager to get underway for the blow dealt to the hordes of the Worldwound as well as return an item precious to his Goddess back into the fight. The next day he is buoyed by the prayer, almost to the point that those that know his degree of morose could almost say he was cheerful. He rides high in his saddle, ready to battle the enemies of his Goddess. As the day wears on, the pall over the masses sinks in more and more until he is on par with the gloom that has fallen over the others at the find of the ruined village. Finding himself close to Kira, as he had been under her watch when the whole thing began, he nods with her statement. "If there are no survivors, we should at the very least offer a prayer over the fallen."
Mulluq salutes and greets the two newcomers, "Captains.", before watching intently at the plans. "I have no questions. Let us make haste, and recover the city from the hands of the fiends."
Mulluq has not touched any of his coin (and I'm not even sure how much he actually has). He would loan you whatever he could, especially if it meant you didn't have to sell anything you need. He really doesn't need coin as found loot, as he has upgraded his armor, shield, and weapon already.
Mulluq's evening is uneventful. He gathers as much as he has in the manner of belongings. He polishes his weapons, armor, and spends a lot of time in prayer, but these are all the norm. He is ready bright and early, prepared to fulfill the Queen's wishes and take the fight to the demon's and win a victory for the good guys.
Mulluq takes a deep breath, to let out a heavy sigh. He hates how often they overestimate his worth. The more he tries to convince them otherwise, the more stubborn they get in combating his truth. He returns the blade to its scabbard with a mild, "Yes, Lady Valerious." Turning to look at her with a raised eyebrow, he asks, while cocking his head in Irabeth's direction "Did we inform Commander Tirabade that we found Her sword? Mayhaps, she would appreciate its return?" His words are very pointed toward Kira.
Neither rising nor looking at her, he responds, "Your Majesty, cultists had gathered the blade and were hiding it away with the intentions of corrupting its most holy divinity toward their nefarious ends. We toppled their safehouses and plans, in order to protect the good people from their wicked ends." The last he says with an uncontrolled sneer of near rage at the idea of what the cultists had planned in collusion with the demons.
As much as Mulluq would like to hang back, or maybe even leave the chamber, than receive such an honor as bestowed by the Queen, he doesn't move to make any more of a scene than he made after Sol's introduction. Instead he stays near the back but not last. When he finally approaches and kneels, he has Radiance laying across the back of his forearms, to show his drawn weapon is not a threat, and asks softly, "Your Majesty, if I am to be given such an honor, I would be remiss to fail to offer this blade for your use. It is none other than the weapon borne by Yaniel upon her return from the Worldwound." He doesn't even dare to lift his head enough to see her reaction, staring instead at the ground before her as his arms are raised to offer her the weapon.
Mulluq, still kneeling from his previous exchange, responds. "Your Majesty, I would march into the very gates of the Worldwound itself if I had the chance to recover an item sacred to Iomedae, in all her glory, and for the cause of removing the demon blight from the face of Golarion for good. I proudly lend my sword and my life to the cause."
Mulluq takes no part in any type of gossip, but he does instead keep a keen ear to certain claims, and intends to keep an open mind of the possibilities. He hangs as far back in the group as he can, trying to keep his hood up enough to try and hide the visage he is always so ashamed of. As they enter, and the others speak, Mulluq attempts a quick search of any evil auras. He hastens his attentions to single out the Queen specifically as Kira and Sol make their introductions. Mulluq maintains a low bow of deference, deigning not to bother to speak to the queen, as he is no one to address her. He nods along with the other two speakers, fighting the urge to roll his eyes as Sol begins to ramble on about... WHAT?! He rises suddenly, his deep voice rumbling "MIS.. TER.. CALONDOR! How dare you attempt to speak on my behalf in an aggrandizing manner?! I.. am.. not..." He stops suddenly, regaining his composure when he realizes he has way more attention than he ever wanted, especially in front of Queen Galfrey of all people. He drops to one knee and bows low, "Please forgive my insolence. I lost my bearing, and I prostrate myself before you that my actions do not reflect poorly upon my companions. They bear no fault in my loss of self-control."
Finished with his prayer, he stands and regains his composure, "Indeed, the presence of The Inheritor was an omen of the most divine proportions, that she blesses the path we walk in wresting back Kenabres, and maybe even the Worldwound itself, from the taloned grasp of the demonspawn." He stands as stoic and serious as ever, a flash of purpose burns behind his eyes, as he appears ready to charge off into the Worldwound alone if need be.
Mulluq takes no part in any celebrations, spending the night in both maintaining his weapons and armor, as well as time in silent prayer. With the excitement of the morning, he simply rises calmly, before turning straight into a kneeling position. He begins softly weeping as he prays, "Forgive me, oh great Inheritor, my Goddess, Light of the Sword, for standing before your grace with my most unholy of visages. You deem me worthy of witnessing your glory, yet I stood before you cloaked in the rags of demonhood. I will rend the life from every demon that crosses my path that I may make up for the failures of my existence in your most magnificent of presences. Please grant me the power to lay low before you my atrocious kin, and I vow to one day be worthy of your glance."
HeroLabs already included my trait bonus. Aubs, in running the game up through the 1st third of the 2nd book so far, I have some suggestions about the army rules, if you would like? If you want I can PM you how they went down in my experience, and how I'm modifying them.
Profile is updated, and between my trait and path, my HP just jumped 27 points :) Good thing I took powers to take the hits for others.
Mulluq is of course taking Mythic Guardian Feat: Mythic Paragon (how can I not?) - Your tier is considered 2 higher for determining the potency of mythic abilities, feats, and spells. This doesn't grant you access to mythic abilities or greater versions of mythic spells at a lower tier than you would normally need to be to get them, nor does it grant you additional uses of mythic power or adjust the dice you roll for your surge. Mythic Path Feature: Sudden Block (Su) - As an immediate action, you can expend one use of mythic power to hinder a melee attack made against you or an adjacent ally. Add your tier to your AC or the ally's AC against this attack (3 due to feat). The creature making the attack must make two attack rolls and take the lower result. Once the attack is resolved, you or your ally (your choice) can make one melee attack against the creature. The damage from this attack bypasses all damage reduction. Mythic Path Ability: Draw Fire (Su) - As an immediate action, when an ally within 30 feet is targeted with a ranged weapon attack, you can have that attack target you instead. If you would normally be out of range for that attack, the attack is able to hit you as if you were at maximum range. You can use this ability without using an immediate action by expending one use of mythic power. He's not yet updated on the sheet, but will be before too long.
Mulluq looks around the room, ensuring no other creatures are about to jump out at them. He moves to Kira, and speaks softly in prayer to Iomedae, as he cautiously lays a hand upon her shoulder. "Lady Valerious, though our mission as laid before us is completed, we should be sure we have removed the extent of the foul presence from this place. We must be certain that absolutely no demons remain within this hallowed structure before we make our exit."
Mulluq fights his urge to ignore Kira... in order to heal Kira, but he agrees in one extent. He focuses his attention on the remaining monster attacking her as the best way to take care of her in the moment. Finding the best flank in the confines, he strikes out with both sword and fang. Plagued by the decision, he uses a quick prayer to Iomedae for his own healing, only because he doesn't have the time to use it on anyone else.
Mulluq's first thought is to ignore the ones on him and instead bring his anger against one of them that hit Kira. The idea to focus fire and bring at least one of them down first. That is until he sees the hit delivered by Booam on one of his own threats. Though he himself was hit, the wound seems to close before it even has time to become an issue. In all this, he instead calls upon the aid of his goddess to bolster the powers of his allies.
My computer took a dump this week, been working on getting it back.
Mulluq urges everyone to step back away from the stone before they destroy it. He puts his shield across his back, and as Kira goes to touch the rod to the Wardstone, his hands hover just away from her upper arms. If anything goes wrong, he is prepared to spin her around the other side of him so that he can take the brunt of any damage across his shielded back.
Mulluq faces the enemy possessing the broken wardstone, knowing she intends to use it for some nefarious end, and surrounded by his allies. He bares his fangs while pointing Radiance at her, "You will not defile that which is good and holy any more, as the will of Iomedae will exact Her most righteous wrath upon you, and I will be the vessel she uses to do so."
Mulluq, seeing only the single enemy, allowed Sol the request he offered, standing still to allow the others to move or fire without him being in the way.
Mulluq keeps focus on his detection, but answers Sol's affront at his turning down the spell, "I did not say your plan was bad, just that I was a bad candidate for it. I can make no promises about my actions beyond the door, until I see the space and the enemy within."
Mulluq waves off the suggestion, "Use your magic on Booam, as I do not fare well trying to hide from my enemies, and if there is evil beyond this door, I will take little time before making my presence known." As he does, he walks up to right in front of the doorway, and holds his palm up before it to concentrate, looking for the very evil they expect.
According to (I think JJ), the paths and traits are not required to match, but it reads like they are in the book. I think even HeroLabs only gives you the full benefits of the trait if you take the matching path. For my campaign, I didn't make it so, and fixed it, otherwise the character story options are limited if all Archmages were Riftwarden Orphans. Aubs may require it though, as I think I initially wanted Touched By Divinty but knew I was going Guardian, and I think he steered me to Exposed to Awfulness.
With the size, fiendishness, and potential ferocity of the beast standing before them, Mulluq knows what he should do. He invokes the name of his goddess, asking for her strength and divine protections, before he strides guardedly around the creature. His goddes must have found him fit to serve her in this exchange, as his swing is both bold and true, possessing her divine inheritance.
Mulluq is reluctant to accept the potion offered him, as he is wont to do in so many instances. Taking stock of what he has, being no more ability to lay on hands, and only a single heavy potion himself, he acquiesces. The potion fills him with resolve and a feeling of Iomedae being with him.
Climbing the stairs, shield up and sword leading, he is given pause when his sense touch the degree of evil in the room. He holds his shield high, and prominent to catch whatever swings at him as he enters. Seeing the size and scope of the creature within the room, he knows this is what his goddess needs him to do.
Abyssal: "We are not the intruders, demon-tainted beast! You are not where you belong, as this place belongs to the Inheritor, and I shall send you from it!"
Mulluq moves along with the others to check out each of the remaining rooms, pushing out his senses to find the presence of evil in any of them. Once they have cleared all the previous, he renews his push, extending the ability to find evil in front of him as he makes his way up the stairs, ideally as the first potential target for whatever the thing above may be.
Mulluq seems confused by the concern over what lies atop the stairs. "I would imagine that whatever kept it up there while we fought the zombies, or while the door was closed when we fought most of this floor's inhabitants in the hallway, will continue to do so while we secure what is left down here. We step out, close the door, secure the floor, then return to the stairs. We will not be far from them to see if something should decide to open the door on its own." With that, he nods his thanks to Sol for the healing, and makes for the single door to the east, waiting for everyone to ready themselves before he opens it.
Mulluq looks out into the hallway, as Jod peers up the stairs, checking to see if there were still any doors or rooms they have left to clear. "We should secure this level, make certain there are neither enemies nor prisoners, before we go further up."
Mulluq sneers at the notion, the disgust evident in his expression, "Their reasons or lack of them are moot. They desecrate sites committed to honoring those that fought valiantly in the name of righteousness and holiness." The grip on his sword tightens in unvented anger at the affront.
Mulluq accepts the hit as a worthwhile cost to bring the thing down. He has looked worse for wear, but he is also visibly injured. He, of course, says nothing about his own injuries as he too looks over the others for who may need healing.
Mulluq watches the other two step through the sudden wall, and just leans his face in before rushing into it. Seeing that one of the things remain, he pushes past Kira and Jod, leaving himself open to the zombie itself, just to get into sword's reach. Once there, he strikes out at the last of the things. He swings with just enough force and precision to make a serious dent in the thing.

Mulluq growls at the crusaders turned mindless dead, serving the corruption of the demon cause. He moves into the room and calls out a prayer, "Iomedae, let these good men suffer no longer under the travesty that is the curse of undeath. Guide them sagely to your godly plane, that they may bask once more in your glory and be rid of this fowl form they have been tortured into."
