You're lucky some of my other PCs aren't here or you'll get a letcure about Triaxus. Although you could move this conversation to the Lodge Gameplay thread so every PFS2e PC can join in.

Oh that's a good point -- I've often wondered what the Lodge Gameplay thread was for (or at least, where the RP comes from) :)

Mu Long blushes slightly at the praise from the other Dragon. He turns to Rhaegal, his Uncle Jinlong, and finally his brother, Huang Tong. "This is Lirien, " he says, "She is a Smoothscale Bard who helped me with my first mission. She can join us for lunch, then wants to see my small grove later. She has questions about tree bark tea and dragonfruits..." He points to Lirien, who is standing off to the side...

Mu Long can only gape in awe at the legendary Dragonkin...

Mu Long gives a talk on basic kobold remedies and surprises himself that it's a great success.

Mu Long steps out of the dollhouse, relieved to be his size again. Heading off to the common room, he finds his brother studying a chronicle, as well as making notes in another.

"Huang Tong! I'm done! I had the most remarkable adventure! We were shrunk down to the size of poppets! I met a new elf and the biggest Dragon of all!"

"Mek! Look around you! This place is no longer suitable for habitation! You should help us convince the Warden of that!"

Mu Long marches up to Full Plate and gives him a shove, hoping to tip the warrior over.

Once everyone has had their fill of Mu Long's fruit that he seems to be able to produce from nowhere (what kind of fruit?), Sweeper looks up from mopping the room. "Oh, you've seen the whole downstairs by now. There's more poppets for you to meet upstairs if you're ready."

Mu Long produces a small pink-skinned fruit with scale-like protrusions. When opened, the inside flesh is pink with black seeds. The fruit is tasty and refreshing. "These are Pitaya. I grow some in our backyard" he says proudly.

What is another name for a Pitaya? Why, Dragonfruit, of course!

How much time do we have for healing? Mu Long can produce a piece of fruit every 10 minutes that heals 1d6+4

Mu Long roars in triumph and high fives (well, holds up his small claw) Zak.

"GAH! No! Stay away rat! Stay away!!"

He takes a step back then spits three needles at the mouse closest to him.

"Ack! Get away! Get away!!" Mu Long screams, close to panic. Mu Long takes a deep breath and spits a pair of lightning bolts the way his uncle described Grand Uncle Rhaegal doing. One goes to the red rat, the other to the purple one. He then raises a shield to protect himself.

Mu Long yelps as he sees the rats. He concentrates and shoots three metal darts at Green.

Mu Long can only gape at his friend's grace of movement. "You should teach me, Lirien. I wish I could move like that!"

Mu Long approaches the soldier. "Well met! I am Mu Long Dragonkin!"

"Deal!" Mu Long replies enthusiastically, already liking the idea of being a Pathfinder.

Slightly similar story -- my uncle from Singapore visited me in Boston some years back. We ate in a Malaysian restaurant. He started ordering a similar ton of food until I told him "Hey, that's a lot of food!" He smugly replied "In Singapore, this is nothing!" I then told him that if we're still hungry we could order more.

His eyes positively BUGGED OUT when our orders came. Unlike in Singapore, portion sizes in US restaurants are positively HUGE!

Mu Long looks in awe at Lirien. "You'll need to teach me how to do that? All I know are the best uses for tree bark tea..."

"Ooh! There are better ingredients out there! Fresher than these! I can show you the best spots to harvest the best mushrooms and onions! Much better than these!"

Suddenly animated, Mu Long begins to chatter about the best ingredients and the best recipes for tree bark...

Ew Bren replies. You said coffee ... that sounds nasty. I'd rather have a nice tea. Earl Grey. Hot.

Upon seeing the chef, Mu Long speaks up. "Oooh! Chef, do you know how to make this drink that's trending around Absalom? It's coffee with something called Bay-lees. It's really good!"

Mu Long's hand involuntarily squeezes Lirien's harder as Mark suddenly appears. Obviously the young kobold Dragon still is pretty rattled by what just happened...

Having played and run this a few times, I'll let those who haven't (like Lirien) decide

btw, Mu Long has a leshy familiar. I just haven't created him yet which is why you haven't seen him yet... :)

Mu Long bounces off the wall, which seems to knock some sense back into him. He hears Lirien's advice and takes a deep calming breath. Immediately, he feels better. Seeing the proffered hand, he takes it and follows his new friend.

Hmmm. For a Smoothscale, she knows what she's doing. Maybe that's how HT and Uncle Jinlong got their start!

Someone better tackle him then. He's panicking right now... It's his first adventure and he was anxious to begin with :)

"Wha-" is all he gets out before the group finds themselves inside the dollhouse. Mu Long looks around, almost in a panic, wondering if he did something wrong.

"I didn't do it! I didn't touch anything! I'm going to be expelled from the Society and this is only my first day!" he wails. "I'll be a disgrace! The Dragonkins will disown me!! What will I do afterwards!!"

Ignoring Sweeper, he rushes at the eastern wall, hoping to dive back out, forgetting that he's shrunk down to half his size...

"Sounds interesting. What's the smoothscale queen like?"

btw, 5 glyphs to share. we should all start with 2 hero points each since Zak has at least 1 glyph...

Looking to make the most of his first mission, Mu Long walks up to the elf.

"Greetings, smoothscale! I am Mu Long Dragonkin! I come from a prestigious lineage of Dragons. My brother, for example is Huang Tong Dragonkin. Our uncle is Jinlong Dragonkin. We trace our name from the famed Pathfinder Adventurer Rhaegal Dragonkin. You should find yourself fortunate that you have Dragons in this party protecting you!"

He takes another deep breath before continuing "So what do you find so special about this dollhouse?"

None of the above. He's a druid, what does he know about Irrisen?! :)

Mu Long looks around in wonder at the various shapes and sizes his companions take. I can see why HT and Uncle Jinlong love this Society. he muses to himself.

The young kobold reaches the bottom of the steps, his brassy scales taking on a brownish hue as he looks back. Upon getting the "go ahead" gesture from HT and Jinlong, his back straightens and he marches into the room.

"Greetings an well met, fellow Pathfinders! I am Mu Long Dragonkin. I am related to Huang Tong Dragonkin, who is my older brother. We trace our lineage back to our uncle, Jinlong Dragonkin, who is named for the famous Pathfinder Adventurer Rhaegal Dragonkin! You are fortunate you have a great Dragon in your group today!"

"Oh goody! I love going to Uncle Gnimish's coffee stand! Will you join us too, Uncle?"

The sound of a conversation in Draconic can be heard as the Pathfinders gather in the Vault in front of an old dollhouse.

"Are you sure, Huang Tong? What if they don't like me? What if I mess up?" comes the uncertain sound of a young kobold on his first adventure.
