woo!

sorry, been a rough weekend for the wife and I, but stuff got worked out and I get to play in a Kingmaker!! Will update the sheet momentarily(skills/feats/gear)

Excellent sounds good, I will be putting up a sheet within the next two hours for approval.

Going to be a Samsaran Cleric Devoted to Desna(Travel[Trade Sub] and Luck domains) who wishes to see more of the world and create a trading outpost of some kind near the edges of the wild. Somewhat of a gambler :D

Ok I am going to play a cleric. give me a few minutes and I can get a working draft uploaded.

*Edit:
to DaWay: If I pick Samsaran(from the advanced Races guide) as my race, would it be ok to use the alternate racial ability?:

Mystic Past Life (Su): You can add spells from another spellcasting class to the spell list of your current spellcasting class. You add a number of spells equal to 1 + your spellcasting class's key ability score bonus (Wisdom for clerics, and so on). The spells must be the same type (arcane or divine) as the spellcasting class you're adding them to. For example, you could add divine power to your druid class spell list, but not to your wizard class spell list because divine power is a divine spell. These spells do not have to be spells you can cast as a 1st-level character. The number of spells granted by this ability is set at 1st level. Changes to your ability score do not change the number of spells gained. This racial trait replaces shards of the past.

erg, now I can't decide on what to play, saw the all archetypes thing and kinda wanted to play either an Undead Lord Cleric or a Druid of somekind. Except most groups don't appreciate how necromancy can effect role play and bog down turns. Which I understand. Just being a little wishy washy on what to play.

Al that said, I will take suggestions as to what to play and build something around that. I am pretty flexible and have fun with most builds so dont worry about archetype/playstyle compatability. I will keep looking for something that pops out as a must play thing but it might take me a little bit to make a final decision.

I am interested in playing this, been looking for a kingmaker game for ages now. Looking into a Sorceror/Wizard or something like a rogue.

Oh man, this looks interesting! If recruitment is still open, I would prefer to be a Dragon Ronin (Pair 2, Group 2A). However, I am open to whatever that party needs. If that group is full up, I can fill an empty character slot as I find enjoyment in playing all kinds of playstyles(read: ADHD to the max for character generation :P )

Recruitment is definitely still open.

I just haven't been able to get on over the past 24 hours.

@ Runner: Redwall has been declining since trade with Kael'rathen was cut off, but the worst of it has been over the past 10 or so years.

@ Mortifuus: Pm me the rule or post it here and I'll take a look.

Here is the thread with the houserule I like, it is 3rd post in the thread, again if you don't like it I can play without, I just hope we get a lot of downtime :)

I think it is the Age of Dreams netbook where you can select weaves to make power wrought weapons. That said, I am not positive the DM will allow it but that's up to him :P Other than that I thnk there are ways to make weapons, just not specifically power wrought weapons.

*Edit: @Rizzenmagus: Are we using the errata for the WoTRPG core book?

Hmmm, if recruitment is still open I think I will throw my character in the ring as well. I do have a question regarding poisonmaking; do you use the standard RAW way of craft mundane items(it tends to go crazy with higher value items, poisons specifically) or do you mind I suggest a rule for that(nothing terribly OP and still limited by the fact I have to pay for something that isn't necessarily strong)

Either way; throwing in my dwarf Rogue, Corwin Leadpoison, Rogue(Poisoner Archetype) as a skill monkey/poison crafter. He will probably be Chaotic Good, with a sunny disposition and a penchant for bad jokes. Will work on fluff and crunch in the next couple of days, with a goal of finishing by friday.

*Edit: spelling

I did have a quick question on how learning weaves before hand works:
specifically, how many weaves do channelers know before the game begins? Are we assuming whatever makes sense pending your approval? Is there a set limit? The book isn't very clear on learning new weaves mechanically, it states new weaves are learned through study with a mentor or in the field after seeing it done.

I believe the quickstart were just given as an example of what could happen, I assume we will have the book/pdf(or access to said materials) for pc and mecha creation. Just my thoughts though, not necessarily the DM's thought process

Awesome, I am thinking one of the sea traveling people(Atha'Miere?) sorry cant remember off the top of my head, a male channeler who has a very good grasp of wind and weather channeling, which is very unusual for a male. Went to joing the Black Tower for training so he would not go crazy. Still working on backstory, and will have crunch up later.
Anything you think would help with this kind of concept?

Ring of Saiden roll:
1d100 ⇒ 76

I am going to post interest as well. Been very interested in Mecha anime recently and this sounds pretty fun. Will wikipedia away to brush up on knowledge required(mostly watching Gundam atm, not to Macross yet)

downloading the quickstart rules now.

Is this still open to recruitment or has it died? If still open, I can have a character up today or tomorrow. If it has died, I shall be sad :(

Okie Dokie, should have it down by the deadline. How does a Human Cleric who focuses on close combat and item creation feats sound? Cleric of the God that likes to fight no matter what side he is on(i forgot his name :( )

Would gathering supplies be considered seperate from crafting items? Because I could make a item crafter(wizard or cleric or alchemist) who focuses on cranking out weapons and other items to order. As long as this is still recruiting anyways.

So...is this still recruiting?

Okie Dokie, upon further reading of the cleric class and associated domains and such, I would be going with a Human Cleric of Erastil, with the Good and Animal(Feather) domains, who wields his god's favored weapon, the long bow.

Now to work on backstory and statting him up :D

Rolling stats

Rolls:
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 1, 5) = 18
4d6 ⇒ (2, 6, 3, 2) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (6, 6, 2, 6) = 20
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 1, 6) = 10
4d6 ⇒ (1, 2, 6, 4) = 13
4d6 ⇒ (3, 3, 5, 6) = 17

Seems like cleric it is, how do i roll dice on these boards?

*Edit: nvm found the formatting help at the bottom(facepalm)

Ok so I am looking at the summoner for my character class, and was wondering if I could get the Synthesist archtype approved for play, it is from the Ultimate Magic splatbook that is on the prd, but if not that is ok too. The eidolon's focus would be tanking with me in it, however if that archtype is not approved I can always go fighter for tanking, or paladin.

*Edit: or Espionage type charachter, haven't played a rogue in a long while, so I will probably try that.

This sounds very interesting! Is there any class in particular you think the party would greatly benefit from? Or a class you are hoping someone plays?
