I am sorry to say that I am going to have to absent myself from the boards for awhile. Some real life things have come up, and I can't take the time to play or run any games. Sorry to let you all down like this. I have enjoyed playing with you all and hope my leaving won't be too much of an inconvenience. To those of you in my Skull and Shackles game I can't tell you how sorry I am to disappear on you all like this. I said I would finish at least the first book of the AP but it just isn't possible right now.

When they enter the reactor space Morgan moves to the back of the group. Believing that attacks are now likely to come from that direction.

I believe stealth now would be meaningless. We must rely on speed instead. Quickly Brother Vittore guide us to the reactor. Morgan says as he exchanges his partially used clip for a new one.

His autogun useless against the armored fire caste Morgan steps to the side to clear the way for others to engage the enemyand switches his autogun for his bolter.

"Since it was your idea brother Vittore you can do the honors. Let us move to the other side of these preasure doors before you remove your helmet though. Breathing vacum can be problematic. Morgan grabs one of the slain Xenos by the leg and drags it through preasure door. He waits for the others to join him on the otherside of the door. With his autogun up ready to eliminate any of the enemy that might happen along.

to stop the depressurization don't we just have to close the doors of the airlock. we could just go through the preasure door the xenos opend and close it behind us. We can't eat any part of anyone in a depressurized area. Though we may be able to figure out where to go to place the explosives if we do.

we have to cut through the preasure doors to leave this section? Morgan is behind Vultur so third inline.

so why did we break into the Tau ship if we are just going to go back to the Xyclorian ship? We could have just cut through the hull from the assault pod. I was under the impression we were gonna find a way to destroy the Tau ship then assault the Xyclorians

which direction are we going left or right. which direction heads towards the stern of the ship?

This is not going to go well. Morgan thinks to himself as he watches the others fiddle with the airlock on the Tau ship. He checks his bolter and autogun again and wishes he had the claymore he left back at the watch fortress.

There was no chance of us opening that airlock was there?

When the oath has been taken Morgan speaks up. "Brothers, I would make an additional oath to all of you. I swear that should any of you fall in battle I will do everything in my power to recover your gene-seed so it may be returned to your chapters or die trying. I would also ask that if I should fall one of you will take my reductor and extract my gene-seed that it might be returned to my chapter on Sacris."

"I must respectfully disagree in this circumstance. I feel attacking the Xyclorians now we risk failing to complete our objective of eliminating the Tau water caste Envoy. Which is our primary objective for this mission. When the Tau arrive they will communicate with the Xclorians if the Xyclorians fail to respond correctly the Tau will leave and we will lose our chance to carry out our mission. I recommend we wait until bolth vessels have arrive and talk have begun."

you could go with autogun and a silencer Vittore. Autoguns don't work well against armored targets though. Mag boots are apparently built into the armor. As an apothecary I don't think Morgan can lead the kill team. Any extra req we could use on extra demo charges.

"If we do not wish our involvement in the deaths of the Xyclorian and Tau envoys to be known. Then limiting the Xeno ships ability to communicate with anyone outside the immediate area, and making it impossible for them to flee must take priority. It may be wise for us to wait to strike until the ships docked together. If we can then arrange several explosions on the Tau vessel it may be possible to decompress both vessels which will through our enemies into a state of panic and confusion thereby increasing the chance of our successfully completing our misson. If possible destroying the Tau vessel with planted explosives would enable us avoid having to fight the Fire Warrior security force during the boarding action." Morgan says thoughtfully. "The Tau are likely to send an "Emissary" class cruiser to transport the envoy. I wonder if it would be possible to cut through the hull and plant explosives on their drive with out being detected?" The apothecary is focused on the dataslate containing the mission briefing and could be talking to himself.

How is this for a plan. We slip in and plant explosives on the Tau ship. Then we cut through the hull of the Xyclorian ship, and we blow the Tau ship at the same time. That way we don't have to worry about the Fire warriors coming to save the Tau envoy. We will have to completely destroy both ships anyway since we don't want to leave any evidence behind.

Argus is right the soles of the armor can be magnetized to function like Mag-boots. So I am going to drop the Mag-boots and take a Diagnostor Helmet instead. cost is 15 Requisition so I only have 1 to contribute to the group pool.

that makes a total of 26 extra requisition. Corbulo's 13 and 13 from Morgan. I would recomend it be used on medical equipment or explosives. Unless one of the others has a gizmo they really want that could save our colective bacon.

the Astartes Webber in Rites of Battle would be great for this mission but none of us have the renown to get it. So how are we going to do this. We want to keep it as quiet as possible for as long as we can? Or just go in guns blazing and make sure there are no suvivors. Also how do we bring back a sample of their sheild tech do they want the whole ship?

I will have to leave my claymore behind. There will be no room to wield it effectively onboard a ship. Morgan thinks to himself as the briefing continues. I will likely need to take charge of securing the Xeno. Deadlock toxin may be effective, and I am sure the inquisition wouldn't mind a live specimen to interogate. He makes several notes on his dataslate and transmits them to the Armory. With luck the things he has requested will be ready for him to pick up by the time the briefing is over.

Is the Xeno Warrior wanted alive or will a corpse do? The Storm Warden Apothecary asks from the back of the group. It is the most words any of you have heard him speak in the entire time any of you have known him. He is not much different from many battle brothers. Average height and weight for an Adeptus Astartes. His choice to wear his hair long in a a manner that can only be assumed to be related to what ever culture his chapter recruits from sets him apart from the others int he room except for maybe the battle brother from the Space Wolves.

Physical Description: Thin, 5'6", little facial hair that is unkept, somewhere between pale and tan skin

Personality: Mikhail favors the company of others over his own greed. He likes them because he knows he can't go at it alone, willing to grant favors so that others will have his back. He knows that sometimes he has to spend a little coin to earn their trust. These "friends" he chooses should lead to more opportunities for money and power in the future.

Backstory: Born in Bravil, he worked at the Bay Roan Stables shoveling horse manure. His boss was less than accommodating to say the least. At first he just didn't know him, then he got to know him and the more he knew him the more his hatred grew. After another day's work sent home on delayed pay he decided to act. He studied the art of lockpicking from an old lock he bought from the blacksmith and when he got the hang of it, murdered his boss. He snuck in at the cover of night after a bath at the inn and killed the man in his sleep, then looted his lockbox. He buried the loot, lock ,and dagger in a lot of horse manure, went home, and returned to work the next day to lie to the guards. He then did his last days work "for free in condolences of the family's loss" and hauled the crap, along with the loot and evidence, away. After separating Manure from Gold, he washed it and himself as well as he could in a river. He kept his old horse, however and stayed at an inn. That night he was visited by a man in dark robes speaking of his murder and inviting him to the dark brotherhood. Accepting the invite, his adventure began.
