Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Can we see Jake from where we're at?

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Drawing his blade, Morgan begins whispering a prayer to his god. As he does, it begins to glow with a wan off-yellow light. Content that he has made his ablutions to Thoth, Morgan will follow the others, sword and shield at the ready.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I can not agree anything of the sort. Thoth protects my mind and soul from any magical outside influences." Morgan pauses, then adds "Furthermore, I think that we need as many weapons that are effective against such a monster as we can get. We should at least attempt to find the weapon that the revered mother alluded to."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I do not have many possessions, and thus am always ready to confront evil where it lives."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will add the gold piece in his hand to the stack as well.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I have no silver on my, old one" states Morgan as he rummages through his pocket "But will a gold coin work?" Morgan finishes as he pulls out a single gold coin.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"Thank you." Morgan pauses for a moment, then says "Please, lead on."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"But I don't understand. The old man is nothing like that monster. You must surely be mistaken."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"What of the old man? Have you seen him?" Morgan will describe the man to the priest.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I do not think that she meant any insult by her song. I do believe that it her culture it is considered a great honor, and she was attempting to honor your father's life by it."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

I will assist as well, carrying as much as I can without fear of dropping the body.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"Yes, let us get your father interred, so that he may know peace."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I do not mind if you examine me for hidden magics Jake. I am sure that I am fine, however."

He believes it, too!

"Has anyone seen the old man? I heard him outside, begging for help against the wolves. That's why I opened the door and let him in."

Morgan dismisses his Mage Armor. You will, however, find magic on me that I don't contraol: namely Anhur's Calm Emotions spell. My Pact Blade radiates as magic as well, but again, it's hard to keep your eyes focused on it.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan begins giving chase, but after a few moments loses the vampire and then returns to the house. "I couldn't keep up with him; He ran at supernatural speeds. Is anyone hurt?" Morgan will then look around and say "Where is the old man?"

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will close the door then move to the gentleman, screaming "Die, spawn of evil!" and then he will swing his blade twice.

My eldritch blade does count as magic, btw.

First Attack Roll (I'll roll twice, in the instance that I have advantage): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 221d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Second Attack Roll (I'll roll twice, in the instance that I have advantage): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 201d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Damage Rolls: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 81d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will try to drop the fleeing wolf so it can endanger no one else.

Opportunity Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15
Damage Roll: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Thank you Anhur! also, I will choose to fail the save vs. calm emotions and remain at my post.

Morgan will slash furiously at the wolves, specifically targeting the one attacking Cerin. He will then shout to Cerin "Go, help Wintermoon with the monster that is grabbing him. I can hold the door! Protect the people inside, including the old man who was being chased by these wolves!"

Rationalizing it as best he can, Morgan assumes that the vampire fighting Wintermoon and the old man are two different people.

Attacks: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 211d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8
Damage: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 31d8 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan stands and attacks the nearest wolf, swinging with his holy sword.

Attack Rolls: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 181d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
Damage Rolls (If I hit): 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 101d8 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"Blast and darnation! Get off me beast!"

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Nah, Ch'thulu still has a use for you ;D

GM:

Keeping quiet so as not to awaken the others, Morgan will go to the door and open it.

Stealth Check: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Of course now I roll well.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will take his turn at resting, and his rest is fitful. Clearly he dreams poorly.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I did not see any vampires outside."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

It sounded like he was making a pile in the house without going outside.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will take the bodies that have fallen inside and deposit them outside, collecting the ones that fell there into a the makings of a pyre.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I hear you just fine Jake. My devotion to Thoth demands that I explain my actions to him first, other than insuring that his holy blade is cared for." He pauses a moment, ordering his thoughts, then says "I did however, use the power of my god to take the fight directly to the enemy. It was fortunate that I did: I managed to get the gentleman that I saw out there to safety before the wolves attacked him. Good job controlling them Wintermoon; I had feared that I would have to kill them, which would be a shame as they are naught but following their nature."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

With the wolves gone, Morgan will pull out a soft, bright white cloth and begin fastidiously cleaning his blade, until nothing of the battle remains on it. As he wipes the cloth across it, it begins to glow from within with a pale yellowish-white light that seems a bit....off somehow.

Satisfied that he has cleaned it as it should be cleaned, Morgan sheathes his blade, which once again seems to remove itself from your vision.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will level his blade at the wolves and say "Thanks be to Thoth the gracious. How do we stand? is anyone injured? Winter, can you use your druid magic to get rid of the wolves before they attack us?"

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Watching the old man leave, Morgan will continue to cleave a path through the zombies, then use his teleportation magic to move into the house.

Attack Rolls: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 171d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20
Damage Rolls: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 101d8 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will talk to the man, gesturing wildly. He will then move out, attack a zombie or two, and then move back into a defensive position guarding the man.

Sense Motive DC 5:

Morgan is gesturing at the man to run from both the wolves and the zombies.

Attacks: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 251d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13

Damage Rolls: 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (3, 4) + 2 = 91d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

Looks like a I got a crit! and dealt less damage with my crit than I did my regular hit.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Wisdom Save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

That's not good. My plan was to teleport out, get a count of their numbers, and then teleport back in.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will draw his blade, say a prayer to Thoth, and then disappear, reappearing outside. He will then swing on the closest zombie that he can see.

Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (11) + 5 = 16
Damage If/When I Hit: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan plans to stay up the entire night, then help bury the burgomeister in the morning then sleep during the day.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Intelligence Check: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan excuses himsef and goes from room to room, checking to see how defensible each room is from creature attack.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"My comrades speak true. You are unsafe here." Morgan says while glancing about the wreckage of the church.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"My name is Morgan, and I am a holy warrior of Thoth. We have come together to put a stop to the evil that preys upon your people. What can you tell us of the history of the Count that rules these lands?"

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"Thoth save us! Who would assault such a place of piety!"

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I agree. We should go and speak with the priest this evening, then rest and get our strength back before going to face the monster that hides behind the guise of a Count."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Kneeling, Morgan says "I can not speak for the others, but I will give my life to free your people from the monster that is ruling their lives. I shall not rest until he is destroyed. Where can I find his castle?"

Also, religion to see what I know about vampires.

Religion: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan enters and waits for the others to follow suit.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"Do you ask after every stranger who comes into you town to talk to your father, or are we special?"

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I am Morgan Il'Fayne, defender of the innocent and holy warrior of Thoth. What is it that you want from us? We were attempting to find a way to assist the young woman who is weeping uncontrollably."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan says nothing but will walk around the house, looking for an unboarded egress.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I don't know about that. Someone could have used magic to board up the door. I think at the very least we should try to find another way in to see if we can help her."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"I know not, friend Anhur, but we shall endeavor to find out."

Morgan will call out "Miss? Do you need help? If so, I can have you free shortly!"

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Bypassing the tavern and it's promise of comfort, Morgan will continue to follow the sound of crying, pausing for a quick prayer to Thoth: Please let me be strong enough.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

"Let us find the poor woman who cries and see how we can aid her."

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan will sheath his blade and re-don his priests garments. Sheathed, the blade becomes indistinct and you have to focus your eyes on it to perceive it, otherwise they just tend to slide off.

basically, it's my version of making the sword disappear. Mechanically, it works the same, I'm just making use of a different flavor is all =)

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan continues moving forward, Keen eyes moving about the landscape.

Male AC: 18; Passive Perception: 10; HP: 38; Initiative +2

Morgan draws his sword, the handle and pommel of which are made of platinum and have a swirling theme to them that seems easy to get lost into. the most interesting thing about the sword is the blade, which appears to be glass that contains some sort of smoke within it. Morgan also readies his shield and then says "let us proceed."
