Just for the record, Lemris is open enough about being arcane when it comes to his companions, he is just extremely careful around anyone else.

Lemris is very much not publicly arcane by the way, and yeah, Anaphas probably is Lemris's mentor, or at least his sponser.

I'm here, effectively done, just tweaking, we can start now and il just refine the build as I need to

Hmmm, I was going down the arcane build as well, I like the concept and I'm fairly certain I can work with it. My guy is a human wizard, who unlike your swordmage is decidedly not comfortable about 1, showing that he is an arcanist and 2, anyone else around him giving themselves up. He's the type who tends to look out for people more than they nessecerily want because he is positive he knows best.

Also, as far as motivations go, he's in it because he was nearly forced in to this life by his parents, who proved to be not-so-loving when they found out how capable an arcanist he was, but has since came to accept and even enjoy the wasteland, and probably his company as well (whether or not they enjoy him is another matter entirely).

more controller I think.

As in, much much more controller. That said I am toying with the idea of a sorcerer as well, either way I dont think it will make that much difference to what anyone else wants or needs to pick

By the way, please note the C in my name and lack of a K.

Thinking more half-giant ranger. However, I don't mind going defender if Mordencranst isn't keen on it.

I'd be grateful if you could.

there is no Z in my name, you of all people should know Rev.... Anyway yeah, I'm interested, I'll probably try some sort of wizard for a bit of variety.
So yeah, you can put me down as an arcane controller.

Edit: Oh, or not, seem's I'm going to have to be the defender then... I guess I could try a fighter or battle mind of some description

Well, it appears that my PC is toast if any of you guys find out that he's with the Balican Secret Police LOL

Spoiler:
You could well have been sent out to deal with Lesarieth, if you read my backstory he's not exactly popular with Antropinis at the moment

On a related note, it appears that at least three of us are from balic, and we are all hiding things from each other.

Yeah, this is not going to be tense in any way.....

Oh dear Radavel.... that could be, errr, interesting. Yes, thats right, interesting.

Well, as long as Lesarieth doesn't know....

I'm not really planning on doing that much with the theme myself, I just want the CA utilities for the most part

Yeah, I went gladiator, I know it's a defender theme, but it seems so good for rogues as well, anyway I dont see the problem with 2 gladiators.

Hey all, as I have said already on the recruitment thread, I will probably go rogue, in any case definately some form of melee striker I have decided. If Radavel goes for a fighter then that leaves me pretty much free to build what I want.

Also, yeah, I can easily see my guy being a caravan guard to be honest. Im planning on playing an ex noble of some description, ran away fairly young when he learned a little too much about a few things (still working on the exact details) and I'm probably guarding the caravan because one. I have to make a living somehow, and two. It's a nice cover for who I really am.

Make that very likely a rogue tbh, got a really good build I want to try.
I'll switch to a tempest fighter if we need a defender.

Dont want to play a leader if I can avoid it, I have to say.

By the way, seeing as dark sun has no gods, what is the ruling on devine classes? (avengers, sepcifically)

Rev Rosey jr. here, I'm up for it. Haven't built anyone yet, but I have an idea for a rogue, prepared to play any class if it suits the party better though
