Mirzos gratefully accepts the bottle from Nhorri, but is distracted by the sounds of something schlomping closer before he can pop the cork and drink it. By the time he finishes tucking it into his belt pouch, another slime has already been splatted!

With his suit’s batteries not finished charging yet, Mirzos opts to just use his own power to finish the job.

Good news - Mirzos has Acid resistance 3 from his armor innovation, and with how the d4s rolled that’s enough to nullify that portion of the damage!

Bad news - still ouch. XD

"Oof! Oh, you think you’re tough stuff, huh?" Mirzos slams his head into his left shoulder, trying to push a large button there. "Well hold onto your hat!"

Sparks begin to crackle across the kobold’s brassy armor, lighting up his toothy smile.

"Oh, guys, look out for the trap on the floor!"

"What? Where? Whoa!" Mirzos almost drops his weapon in surprise as the air pressure around him fluctuates and pulls him in the wake of his taller companion. But after steadying himself, he moves to the front and brings down the pointed end of his hammer on the sludgy mass.

Mirzos too squints suspiciously at the foyer before pointing at the trail. "Let’s take them head-on," he suggests.

"Hold on, something's not quite adding up..." Mirzos looks at the sky, then back at the building, then back at the sky, then back at the ground, then back at the sky. "Look at that - none of the birds are landing here. There's not even any footprints for where they might have landed. Not that there's any lack of impressionable material here by the doors." He takes a firm grip on his hammer and double-checks the knobs on his mechanical suit. "I think there's trouble on the other side - ready when you are."

"Absolutely!" Mirzos puffs out his chest proudly. "Sewer oozes are no match for us!"

Mirzos checks that his colleagues are with him, then trots up to the stranger. "Hi! You're the fellow with that help wanted poster, yeah? What kind of help you want? I'm sure we can help - we're Pathfinders!" He stands proudly, knowing the other man will know what kind of help he can expect from members of such a proud and storied association as the Pathfinder Society.

Mirzos sighs as he counts the coins in his wallet, then slowly puts a wooden figurine of a serpentine draconic figure back on the merchant's table. Head hung low, he walks away and almost runs into a flower merchant standing between him and the closest bench. He slumps down and puts his head in his gloved hands, gazing across the plaza despondently.

The tapping sound of something being nailed to a notice board catches his attention. Slowly the wheels start to turn in his head. Once the connection between someone looking for help and money is made he quickly perks up and heads towards the sound to investigate.

"They were calling us fish-thieves and that our nets were taking all the fish without sharing any. I wonder why they didn’t just move somewhere else?"

"Vicksli! Ow! Help Xandian!" Mirzos adjusts his arms like a contortionist stretching and croaks out a draconic syllable. As a transparent scale interposes itself between him and the beast, he grins and swings. "A real dragon would see we’re not fish-stealers - maybe you need glasses?" he taunts in Draconic.

Overdrive [A], cast shield [A], and Strike [A]. AC 19, 6 hitpoints. If hit, he’ll use the Shield Block reaction to reduce the damage by 5 unless that wouldn’t be enough to keep him conscious anyway.

"Oh no! Xandian!" Mirzos races after his colleague and brings his hammer - the head of which has been stylized to look like a claw or tooth from some great creature - to bear on the fake dragon. "Nihil nisi fictus es! Simulator!" (Draconic - "You're nothing but a fake! A pretender!")

A high-pitched whine starts to build as he brings the weapon down!

"Well it speaks like a dragon at least," Mirzos whispers to his colleagues. "Freezing breath like some varieties as well. Oh! It's asking who disturbs it in its home. Do we... want to answer?"

Mirzos does his best to not start tearing up as the shock of the letdown hits him. Maybe… maybe this creature does something like a dragon at least? he hopes hopelessly to himself.

Question could be "What is its most dragon-like feature or ability?", but that’s not super clear given the sheer variety of dragons (especially nowadays). An alternative question could be "What is its best-known feature?"

Mirzos has to clasp a hand over his mouth to muffle his gasp of excitement as the creature comes into view. But then his eyes narrow. Doubt begins to creep into his mind - is this really a dragon?

Trying to Recall Knowledge to identify this creature. If the group wants to stealth in, Mirzos will go a bit behind everyone else since he’s not very quiet. Or subtle. XD

"Of course it's intelligent - it's a dragon, after all." Mirzos checks that his armor-suit is functioning properly in the cold weather and nods to signal his readiness.

Mirzos is right behind Xandian, holding the leshy tight so he can lean further out and keep a better eye on the tracks underfoot. The downside of this service though is the constant stream of random facts, musings, and whimsies about dragons from the kobold's mouth.

"Dorsal fin, that makes sense, but white and blue scales? A hybrid, perhaps? Fangs, yes, every dragon has fangs, no need to mention the wings because every dragon also has those, perhaps that fin is an aquatic adaptation?" Mirzos is lost in his own musings.

"A dragon!" A small bronze-scaled figure in a suit of bronze-plated armor covered with decorative scaling patterns eagerly reads and re-reads the notice. "What kind of dragon? Maybe a white one? They tend to keep to the colder regions, after all. But why would one next on ice floes? We simply must check it out!"
