Flagging this to be moved to the Beginner Box forum

A jargon point:

In Pathfinder, what you are calling 'precons' are called 'pregens'. That search term in the Beginner Box forum will help you find some of the answers.

And because the BB rules are slightly simpler than the standard PF2 rules, you'll get more accurate answers to your questions from the people active in that forum.

Thanks for the quick help! Yeah, searching for pregens got me to where I need to go.

Since the content of my forum post is it kinda null and void, should I delete it?

Didn't see anything relating in the Faq

Hey forum,

First time posting on a forum, but here goes.

I'm planning to run the beginner box, and I'm super hype about it. I've got 5 players, and we're keeping to the iconics included and from the paizo iconics zip file to round it out. I've noticed that the precons included in the beginner box don't include the ancestry feat choice, and missing key class features like Kyra not having domain initiate and thus having less spells per day and no notation of being a cloistered cleric.

Should I keep the precons as downloaded for the play as intended of them? Or just use the precon iconic on the paizo zip with all this included? I couldn't find guidance in the game master guide included

I'm unsure as I don't want it to be too much information to start and push them away from 2e, but don't want them to be weaker than others due to not having a big ability. I plan to run this into Troubles in Otari so the choices not being there in progressions seems an issue.

I'm thinking of maybe doing the precon given for floor one, and then when they go back to rest, swapping it with the regular iconic sheet as they've gotten a better handle of the system.

Any advice on this would be much appreciated, I checked a couple of the relevant forums but couldn't find something in this vein, but I could just be unfamiliar enough to find them.
