Dai will turn and ask, "Which road did you see these bandits on? Were they near here?"
Dai will subtly listen in to hear of any unpleasantness along the road.
"I am not sure about the roadways through here. It might be prudent to stay the night." Dai notes as he listens to the falling rain.
Dai looks out to see how the weather is faring.
Dai sits and closes his eyes to meditate on their task as he waits for their food.
"Perhaps some fish and rice." Dai says.
"Thank you for your hospitality." Dai tells the innkeeper.
"We may need to seek shelter at the next roadside inn. This weather looks like it might turn into a downpoor soon." Dai says as he looks up at the dark clouds.
I will be on vacation from Monday through Friday. I am not sure how my posting will go, so feel free to bot me as needed.
Dai does his morning exercises, cleans up and has a brief breakfast before readying his horse to continue on.
Dai stays as long as is appropriate, and then retreats to his own room to rest before their journey continues.
"We head to the Akodo lands on Imperial business." Dai says.
"We recently assisted in stopping some tensions between the Scorpion and Crab clans where forces sought to cause strife in the Empire." Dai says in reply.
"We have not been given the formal rank, but we in many ways act as an Emerald Magistrate when he sends us out to tend to matters of justice." Dai says in reply.
"Yes, I did not compete in the Championship, but I was honored to be asked to aid her in her work for the Emerald Champion." Dai tells Niko's father.
Dai attempts to behave as appropriate for a guest to the Matsu castle.
"Then hopefully you are able to do so. There is much of beauty within the Empire, and much work is needed to preserve it." Dai says in reply.
"Our lands are a ways to the north. Do you hope to travel the Empire at some point?" Dai asks.
"Yes, we are passing through together towards the Akodo lands." Dai answers, "I was just resting here while Niko-san sees her family."
Dai finds a garden to rest in while Niko meets with her family and pens a Haiku. Beneath blooming vines

Dai will nod and follow along to stable his horse.
Dai will find a garden to wait in and observe the Matsu aesthetics.
Dai considers what the presence of the fox might portend. He then asks, "Matsu Niko, do you intend to stay in the castle or at the inn?"
Dai considers what he knows.
"It would be an honor to accompany you on your task." Dai tells the shugenja.
Dai nods and produces a bag and orders one of the men to hold the head as they travel.
Dai rests his hands on the hilts of his blade and watches the man.
Dai will attack the one he is fighting again.
Dai charges in!
Dai gives a shrug and smile and says, []b]"Charge them down before they scatter."[/b]
Dai nods and rises to leave.
Dai will take the dockets and asks, "Are we expected by a certain time?"
"How have they been killed? Are all the deaths from the same causes?" Dai asks.
Dai joins Niko across from the official.
Dai nods and follows the attendant in.
I will be traveling all weekend. I doubt I will be able to post, so bot me as needed.
"I believe we must attend a briefing first, but if you have received the information I am ready to go." Dai says in reply.
"Well, tomorrow might be enlightening. I believe I will find a place to relax for the night." Dai says.
Dai bows before the Emerald Champion and then backs out. He then asks Matsu Niko, "Have you spent any time in the lands of the Akodo?"
"Thank you, we should continue on our path now." Dai says as he bows to the Daimyo.
Dai will nod and say, "Your offer is most kind.". He will then look to make himself comfortable for the time being.
I am glad to hear that so many people shared fond memories. It's better when people are willing to do that.
