Holy crap, the game fisappeared from My Campaigns and I just thought 'Wait, what happened to my American Rippers? I am very sorry for not realising sooner
Michael walks up and down the room as the meeting goes on. His guts say Miss Kind hudes something, perhaps related to the case at hand... Perhaps not.
His eyes jump from one item to the next, trying to spot anything out of place, a single unusual detail, a thread to pick up and pull the whole thing.

His steps bring him back to the right of
Eliza and he takes a pack of cigarettes from his coat, gesturing Miss Kind if he is allowed to smoke.
"I am curious, Mrs. Kind, as to why would you laugh so bitterly after mentioning the lack of a pile of money to inherit. Excuse me if I am too direct, but are you going through economical problems?" he allows the question to be answered, or scoffed at, before continuing.
"My partner raises a valid point regarding the antiques, there is people who would stop at nothing to obtain certain pieces. Does your husband have an office here? Somewhere we can inspect to see if there's anything amiss, a recipe or ledger perhaps."

As far as I am concerned you can take as much time as you need.
I just started a new grade recently, so I can understand the hectic element.
And I gues that instead of congratulations I will have to say good luck, because I've worked retail during Christmas and Sales seasons and you may end needing it. May the patience be with you.

Started college this week and lost track of time like Henry at the casino, my apologies
Michael sat behind his deck, reading today's newspaper and sipping on a dry whiskey, when Miss Kind entered the agency. The woman had those eyes, like a lost child on a mall during rush hour, that he had seen before during his years as a beat cop.
He let the others start asking the easier questions, on his experience the ones he was about to ask needed the relative to already be calm if you wanted to avoid hostility and bruished feelings.
Putting aside the now folded newspaper, Michael walked up to Sarah Kind and offered her his hand "Miss Kind, I am Michael Murphy. We'll need more information to cross out dome of the possibilities." said Murphy as he dragged a chair and picked pen and paper to write before going through the myriad questions, pausing to let her answer between each "What's your brother's trade? Did he have any partners? How about the competition?"
"You've mentioned gambling... That's a dangerous venue if you are a careless player, Miss Kind. Have he ever met a loan shark? Sorry, I meant a money lender or pawn broker."
"I know these are difficult questions Miss Kind, but I need you to understand that they are vital to find your brother on the double... How was Henry's relationship with his wife? Could he have an affair?"
"Onky thing left to do, Miss Kind" Michael says as he passes her a sheet of paper and a pen "Is that you try to remember any directions and names. His church, gambling dens, friends, debtors... Anything you can put on that paper will help."

Before I post, and because I'm bad at remembering stuff, did we go in the end with Michael having joined the others?
I think that wad the final agreement, but because you mentioned "five souls" in the Maltese Agency and I can't remember how many we were I am not sure.
Also wanted to say that I am truly excited to explore the Ripper side of our story!

That makes my fighter concept somewhat more viable, as it's based in part on providing defensive assistance to nearby allies - thought I'd be stepping on some toes there.
Thanks for the clarification and the kudos :)
'Tanking' and Healing are some of those things you can't bever go wrong by adding more. I am the resident tough guy/tank in my F2F game, and I'd kill for another guy to share the incoming damage.
In any case, you gotta picture TheDD as a guy simmilar to the Highwayman.
•He's got some damage. Specially mean damage if he manages to crit. Like headshot levels of damage.
•He can apply status effects(Trying to add bleed to the array, I'd appreciate suggestions) and debuffs.
•He works in the frontlines as well as behind the tanks
•He is dashing, handsome and the most interesting man in the world.
The only cons are that without my pistols I'd lose some versatility as well as ranged abilities (boarding axes cover the melee part) and that ammunition is f$&+ing expensive.

Even down to his planned progression. Like, nearly identical to what I had planned on for Kris.
Well, you got more 'outdoors' skills while I remain a capable secondary Party Face so there's some difference there.
That said, and even if we had exact skills and edges, I wouldn't have anything against it. I mean, having a partner to rely on when clawing is necessary seems nice and the characters have different enough drives and personalities that the simmilar mechanics can be ignored.

Emissary here!
Aaron Nikhols wrote: Also, I know all our Rippers aren't completely built, but what do you all plan to do in terms of long-term builds? Well, I already had the "Level 1" things chosen for a couple days already. And, well, yesterday got bored and... I have everything thought out until 100 Exp.
It isn't set in stone, obviously, but you can take it as some kind of guidelines as to what I think Michael would be in the end.
Michael alreay is a tough, hardboiled, son-a-b++!+. He's hard to hit and hits hard, what with being a "Revenant" who wants to bring down in a bloody way every corrupt m#@+#%*%*#$! he finds. Being an undercover cop he knows how to spin a lie and how to make people s*+! themselves with not so veiled threats.
As we gain Exp he'll become increasingly better at clawing enemies down and the whole lyin' and intimidatin' bussiness, but the thing he'll specially rock is being nigh impossible to bring down unless the RNG decides to have some fun.
I also eyed the 'Ignore wound penalties' Edges and thought they were really fitting
so... yeah, hard to kill is the name of the game.
That's it, if I don't eat a bullet through the skull because I will still be a Harrowed.
EDIT! Forgot to ask Loup something. I was looking at the Frenzy Edge and thought it would be nice, thing is I wanted to "reflavour" it as multiple qttacka with both claws instead of an extra attack. Would you be okay with it? Mechanically it would remain the same
I'm a tool, forgot to mention I had added backstory.
Anyway, echoing Alecak and Elbow: the wait is the hardest part and it's killing me.

By the way Fengari, your class can do almost all the stuff you want the blade to do. Though Armiger's Mark doesn't light them up mechanically, it does allow you to mark an opponent that you hit and gain some lockdown abilities. So you can add that as the weapon's ability to Armiger's Mark.
Veiled Moon has teleportation strikes that mimic Diana's Lunar Rush. Just pick up the Wayward Path martial tradition and swap Veiled Moon for something you don't want.
I am not sure this works but Zweihander alloys you to use your two-handed weapon as a light shield for shield bashes and maneuvers that require a shield. I think this means you can use Throw Shell Maneuver and fling your sword. Best part is, in the maneuver it says that if you are within 2 increments (40ft) you can catch it as a free action.
So the only ability you would need to add to the blade is making the target glow when Armiger's Mark is active. Then again, moonlight isn't really an element.
While correct in everything you stated -I even picked Veiled Moon instead of Golden Lion through a trait- the reasons behind having the weapon be the conduit of the abilities is having it as a RP mechanic, with the weapon 'teaching him' -when and if I do pick the maneuvers and stances that are simmilar- and overall being where he draws the power from.
The rest of the class abilities would be both his training as a Lunar Knight and his precognitive abilities from being a Seer.
Zayne Iwatani wrote: You know, I thought when you said give it an elemental ability that meant something like shock, fire, or frost. At first I thought that too, but as I saw the submissions ad GM's answers I realized it was both an elemental ability and a special ability to design with the master.
This is Emissary's submission: Fengari the Lunar Knight.
I'm a tad busy at the moment, so I hadn't added his backstory to the profile (I have it handwritten) but expect it to be added during the following hours.
I have added a spoiler with the "final version" of the Moonblade's abilities. Used generic term ala rulebook for ease of understanding, but if anything is confusing please do hit me up ^^
Anyway, I'll post again when his backstory is added so you know.
And finally: Good luck to all the submitters. I've seen really good ones and wish you the best of lucks to y'all.
Ps.-Fengari's equipment is actually... lackluster. But he was on duty when he was transported so he only was carrying his weapon, armor and clothes.
