Liberty's Edge 4/5

Taking the longer view, as one might expect of an elven seeker, I believe Karisa's skills are best suited to leading the faction. Tamrin is a valuable and skilled operative who would be most effective continuing to work in the front lines.

As a result, they should be *exceptionally rare* outside of the Society, and it's more likely to run into other items (anytool, burnt ioun torch, etc, etc) than the comparatively expensive Wayfinder, imo?

I've mentioned before, that the hideously underpriced anytool is probably found on every working class NPC, 3rd level and higher. Just too practical as written.

"Exceptionally" rare, huh? Seems iffy. I mean, first off, if most pathfinders have these "exceptionally" rare and extremely useful magic items, seems like pathfinders would be hunted for item drops....500gp each, sold back to the market at half value, so a party of 4 pathfinders is, at minimum, worth 1000gp. And the pathfinders are probably carrying more than just that in equipment and loot. That's enough to consider pathfinders as having a bounty on their heads, and enough for neutral NPCs to consider attacking pathfinders without other reasons.

With manufactured goods, it should always be more practical buy something, than to hire people to kill those who have them and loot it from their corpses. That should be common sense to the Pathfinder Society. Especially since they hail from Absolom, the city where everything can be bought.

Somebody is out hunting Pathfinders to take their wayfinders? Sounds like somebody wants to be stalked by a seeker level unchained elven rogue with a heavily enchanted curveblade. This rogue has a history of doing creative vengence on people messing with the Society.

But then the rogue running in is yelling at you for not providing flanking :P

I get my flanking just fine :) (Spring attack, Gang up, Boots of Striding and Springing, high acrobatics)

I enter melee vs things immune to sneak attack. I'm a fan of my planar elven curveblade and I still have dex to damage, improved critical, and spring attack :)

Liberty's Edge

Elixer of tumbling, wand of expeditious retreat with max UMD, 20+ acrobatics modifier before the elixer, and spring attack : go! :)

A 5-9 Scenario:
Cairn of Shadows
I was playing my elven female swashbuckler AT rogue. Our contact had been abducted by an NPC and we didn't want to draw attention to ourselves by starting a small war in town getting him back. We all were looking through our ITS figuring out a plan when someone pointed out he had an elixer of love. This led to my rogue spiking the drink of the NPC. We then fast forward to my character being led up to his room, where I get more creative and ask "Can I tie you up?" And that's how the contact got rescued and the NPC foe of the Pathfinder Society was found by the cleaning lady the next day tied to the bedposts in his underwear.

My seeker level rogue has enough UMD to activate wands without rolling, so I bought a four charge wand of CL7 fireballs from a chronicle sheet. Earlier, I carried a CL3 wand of burning hands from another chronicle until that one was used up. Now that my UMD is 22 I'll start packing scrolls if I use up the wand.

That is incorrect.

any equipment that’s listed on the pregenerated character sheet may only be sold to clear their own conditions

In the 6.0 guide, that was in the section about playing pregens; in the latest edition it got moved to the Conditions section.

One thing that I noticed is that in the latest Guide, the wording has changed to add that pregen gear can only be sold to clear their own conditions. In the v6 guide, that wasn't there. I had to check as I'd felt guilty about selling off some of my pregen's gear to help Raise a different pregen a month ago, but luckily it was legal at the time.

I swear I didn't do it! I'm the traditional elven curveblade fencer! OTOH, my disreputable thieving cousing with all the knives might have.

I think I can stop that barbarian - here came all the disarm checks ...
