Mayumi inches forward a few steps and stands on his tiptoes in hopes of seeing the beast's remains.

"I believe it is over honorable fellow Pathfinders", she says with a bow. "You all battled with great courage!"

Mayumi pulls one of the jade-handled pins from her dark hair and throws it!

As she departs, Mayumi gives quick instructions to Ekkie.

"Use a liquid flame Ekkie-san!"

Turnabout is fair play!

Mayumi withdraws in the direction the others fled to.

She readies an illusion for Erin.

"Be brave friends. We are mighty Pathfinders!"

Ready to hit Erin with Vanish when she comes back. It only lasts one round Erin but that should be enough time for you to get close enough for a ranged sneak attack.

Mayumi watches the beastly she-bear and hums a song in preparation.

Mayumi's normally gentle features are hardened with resolve.

"Yes, Ekkie-sama. We are your friends!"

Mayumi plucks one of the remaining beads off the necklace and gracefully tosses it into the middle of the room.

It should get everyone.

She then slips it off her neck and offers the last bead to the eager little goblin.

"Friends give each other presents."

Satisfied that she has won the battle of morale modification, Mayumi stops inspiring.

Mayumi takes the offered wand and invokes its magic on Erin a couple more times.

Mayumi pokes her head around the corner.

Seeing the battle is over, the gracefully shuffles her way over to her injured comrades. Along the way she pulls a slender wand from the sleeve of her kimono.

"A battle well fought", she says softly. "Let me do what I can to treat your injuries."

I have no idea how injured everyone is. If you have a wand of your own please say so and count the charges I spend off your own.

Mayumi continues Inspiring and pulls a jade hairpin from her hair. She readies to hurl it with all her might should a goblin come around the corner.

Mayumi bats the last of the spiders from her kimono.

Mayumi screams in terror as the carpet of spiders climb up her kimono and bite her legs.

She maintains her composure long enough to pull a bead off of the necklace taken from Ekkie and hurls at the upper corner of the room.

Reflex saves for the horse, both the goblins in the corners, and the swarm.

Mayumi flees back down the hallway, letting the flames from the ball of flame cover her escape.

Mayumi moves back towards the room, continuing her inspiring poetry.

Whispering a lyrical verse, Mayumi conjures a burst of sparkling pigment to reveal the hidden goblin.

Glitterdust to hit the Alchemist and any other goblins without hitting Erin.

Mayumi does as Erin bids, moving a few spaces back the way the party came.

While doing so, she utters a poem.

Goblins lay in wait-
But they underestimate-
Pathfinders overcome-

Considering we're already a 6 person table and we took all her stuff, I'm okay with her being a noncombatant.

I doubt it's going to matter but don't forget the +1/+1 from inspire courage!

The pit is 15 feet across but Amazing said you'd have to clear all 15 feet to clear the trap, hence the DC 20.

Mayumi screams in pain as bits of burning fluid land on her kimono.

"Allow us lawful entrance into your business and your troubles will be behind you, for with me are three of the Pathfinder Society's greatest warriors here in Magnimar", Mayumi says with a wave to Trys, Erin, and Clif.

"They will drive the invaders from below your knackery and the goblins will think twice before ever threatening you or your family ever again."

Mayumi steps foward and bows.

"Greetings honorable Tersus. We visit your establishment with peace in our hearts but duty in our thoughts. We are aware of a den of goblins nesting below your business and, on behalf of the Pathfinder Society, would like to root it out", the tian girl explains.

"We humbly request your permission to enter."

Mayumi would probably be the best candidate seeing as how she's level 1 and not front-line.

Mayumi bows deeply, "Yes, Sheila-sama. We will find this goblin den as you've instructed."

Mayumi is ready to go.

Mayumi awaits Erin and Trys's final judgement.

Mayumi bows deeply to Trys.

"Trys-sama, I humbly request that you spare Ekkie-chan your righteous vengeance. She is very sorry for the offense and will help us find the bad goblins here in Magnimar."

"Isn't that right Ekkie-chan?"

Mayumi reflects on what the little goblin tells her. The theft itself was not a serious offense but the idea of a local tribe of goblins targeting the manor was troubling.

Further there was the matter of the thief herself.

"We should report this to Sheila-sama. She will want to know that there are goblins with an eye for Pathfinder equipment."

"What's your name little one?"

Mayumi examines the scene. Seeing the injured being tended to by Cliff she gracefully shuffles over to the captured goblin.

"You've caused a great deal of trouble little one", she chides.

"Was it Plarg that told you to steal from the Pathfinders?"

Mayumi will delay for said haste.

"Nani!?"

Using a full round action to advance 3 spaces since Mayumi's room has no obstacles in it.

Mayumi hears the cry of alarm and rushes up the stairs at a startling speed despite her form-fitting kimono.

Catching sight of Erin pointing out the window at the fleeing goblin, the demure tian girl scurries out the window and leaps onto the ground floor alongside the sneaky goblin.

"A raid on the Aspis?", Mayumi says in confusion.

"Would the Society be so bold as to attack in public?"

Mayumi, who has been waiting at the manor, watches Erin as she diligently works.

"You are quite skilled Erin-sama", she offers as she watches the finer details of the sketch take shape.

Mayumi smiles slightly.

"Arm wrestling? How enticing", the young woman says with a nod.

"No, I spent most of the day under a tree with a book and a lovely songbird."

The tian girl laughs softly at Trys's mishandling of the honorific.

"It is 'Sama'. The affix is used to refer to a woman of higher standing than oneself."

Mayumi gracefully shuffles into the building as Erin and Trys are arriving.

"Good afternoon Erin-sama, Trys-sama. How has the day treated you?"

Mayumi finishes the chapter she'd been reading and packs her things. She bows and thanks the little bird above whose song had kept her company and returns to the house with the others.

Ready to move on whenever.

Mayumi spends the rest of her free time under a nice shady tree studying the history of Magnimar from her Pathfinder Chronicle.

Mayumi smiles and bows again.

"You are as generous and kind as your are beautiful Trys-san. I will thank the ancestors in your name."

Mayumi bows deeply.

"Many thanks Trys-san. Your skills are most appreciated."

"Is it really beyond redemption though? A place with as much history as this should not be abandoned so readily."

Would Trys mind trying again but taking 10?

Mayumi could use a hand from Trys.

Mayumi bows deeper and giggles quietly at the guard's flirtations.

"Many thanks for your help."

After getting direction to the villa Mayumi tracks down Trys, one of her recently introduced allies.

Once she finds her:

"Good afternoon, Honored Trys. I humbly ask for your aid in a task Amara-sama has put before me. I must visit the abandoned estate of distant relatives of mine and determine the cost of the repairs needed to make the grounds hospitable again. Could you spare a few moments to share your expertise?"

I need an Appraise check.

She produces a small book explaining property values through Magnimar.

"I purchased this booklet but I cannot make any sense of it. I'm afraid I do not have a head for numbers."

It's a tool for +2 to Appraise.

With her head bowed, Mayumi shuffles gracefully up to Ebrylis after she and the others have been shown to their rooms.

"Honorable Ebrylis, the house Kaijitsu has become known to me since I've arrived here in Magnimar. It would sooth my homesick heart to meet others from my distant Tian Xia. Could you kindly give me directions to their villa?"

Like I said, I wouldn't be too worried.

Markus was a front-line combatant in the party with three other front-line combatants. His absence won't be noticed.

At least Mayumi has Inspire Courage!

Yes, Markus is still in Thod's game. Also, for personal reasons he's going to be essentially retired after the game he's in.

I'm not terribly worried. I'm certain we'll be fine with the characters we have.
