Hi all,
Why am I getting charged 36.85 in shipping for my two books in my subscription?
When I test order the books shipping is only 10.11 (not counting Canadian conversion).
Thanks,

The Humble Bundle was quite a bit more successful than we anticipated and we ran out of our current stock of Beginner Boxes. We contacted Humble Bundle and a notice about the backorder was placed on the promotion page, which indicated that our reprint is estimated to arrive in late June/early July. Once that reprint arrives, we'll be working as quickly as possible to ship Beginner Boxes out to folks who purchased them.
Per your request I have cancelled your order. The Beginner Box will not ship and you will not be charged for the shipping.
Thanks,
Earlier this week I got an email stating my Beginners Box wasn't going to be available until June or July. I bought the Humble Bundle so that the physical copy would be available for my sons birthday in April.
Is this true? Is the Beginner Box not available until June? If so, I may have to cancel the box (or donate it, or whatever), because I'll have to buy it locally and I don't want to pay for the shipping.
I replied to the email, but I haven' heard anything and I'm running out of time.
I hope something can be done for this.
Thanks,
Matt

The Pilgrimage event states:
Pilgrimage (settlement): Randomly select one settlement with a Cathedral, Shrine, or Temple. Pious religious folk journey to your settlement, holding a religious festival in that settlement at no BP cost to you.
But it doesn't actually list what a religious festival does?
Is this listed somewhere that I've missed?
Trample
As a full-round action, a creature with the trample ability can attempt to overrun any creature that is at least one size category Smaller than itself. This works just like the overrun combat maneuver, but the trampling creature does not need to make a check, it merely has to move over opponents in its path.
Can you make an overrun check if you want to knock the creatures prone?
If you have improved overrun and you knock the creatures prone, can you take an Aoo?

sara marie ACK! I got confused. Can you add the character add-on deck back? I mixed up it and the Burnt Offering Adventures Deck that game in the box. Hi Sara,
I just want to make certain the character add-on deck gets added back to my order. I'm hoping to get it by Sept 7th.
I got it and the Burnt Offering Adventures Deck that came in the box mixed up.

Hi all,
I just realized I actually got the Add-on deck in my base set and don't need it. Could you cancel that from order 2705443. The rest of the order is fine.

Could you remove the guide to darkmoon vale from this order?

Yep. All at -2 penalty, possible concentration checks needed if he's casting defensively.

Yep. Though the level 5 magus would need some way to cast the quickened spell. Third hand to hold a metamagic rod, maybe.
Riiiiiiiiiiiight, so it's a higher level Magus. My bad. I got carried away with my exampling.
Since Genrecon has priced itself into oblivion (at least for me, and my friends in the area), does anyone know what's being offered at Gryphcon's Shadow?
For those who don't know about it, Gryphcon's Shadow is a one day, warm up event, at the University of Guelph, University Centre. It's on Oct 20th, and runs from 10 til midnight.
Thanks,
Matt

Having said that, at Fan Expo the players handling the level 7 pregens did well, it seems many people trying PFS have prior RPG experience or 3.5 experience. One player (3.5 player) re-selected all of Kyra's spells.
I'm not saying lets not do a 5-9, I'm pretty sure I could get 3-4 people for it.
I was just saying we should have a bunch of lower level ones as well. Though you all probably knew that.
Does anyone know how many events you have to GM to get in for reduced cost/free? This is a seriously expensive con ($60 for weekend pass, 35/40 per day).

Looking back at GryphCon last winter, many of the attendees for PFS were existing players; I'm trying to encourage the GenreCon locals to include notes in their advertising about welcoming new players.
I am going to weigh the scenarios more towards the "Hey, you've never played before. Welcome!" variety, but I do want to have a few higher-level ones because I know there are existing players in that region who don't get to play that often.
Those existing players would be mostly my group. We have a bunch of 5-6 lvl guys we'd like the opportunity to play, though we do also have lower level characters as well.
I'll ask around in my group and see what kind of numbers we might be able to have for GenreCon, and Gryphcon's shadow.

AARG Game Day - October TBA, Toronto (Ryerson)

Hammercon V - November 2-4, Hamilton
GenreCon - November 16-18, Guelph
Spellstorm III - February, Toronto
Gryphcon 2013 - February, Guelph,
If you were wondering which of those cons would be the best to make a trip from Ottawa? That's easy: Gryphcon in February is the one you do not want to miss. It's the best regional convention we have in Ontario, IMO. Hammercon is also a lot of fun...
I also expect that we will be running the Gencon Special at Gryphcon in Feb, 2013 on the Saturday night of the con.
Any idea of the events you'll be running at Gryphcon Shadow or GenreCon?

Thanks!
Is there any way to do Order # 2144454 differently to reduce the shipping?
Would sending it (or some of it) with my monthly order reduce the shipping?
I'm not in a big hurry to get these items so slower and cheaper works for me.

Just a reminder, for those that want to continue advancing their PFS characters, Gryphcon is next weekend.
As Dan said it's only 2-3 hours across the border. Closer than Toronto.

Hi Customer Service people,
I received order number 1731065, mailed June 30, yesterday.
However, I have not received orders 1715180 and 1719468, mailed June 21 and June 15, yet.
I am Canadian, so I'm starting to wonder if they got lost in the strike.
Any help you can give is appreciated.

So I'm having some difficulty with character creation. I have never rolled a cleric before, and am somewhat new to DND. I have no problem being a cleric, the only problem is I am worried about becoming incredibly bored in a position as a simple "healbot."
So, I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on a good way to balance damage-dealing and healing. I dont want to just go straight malice cleric as the party still needs healing done, but as stated earlier I want to do more than just heal.
Are there any suggestions on domains, deity, feats, spells, etc?
As someone who's played a lot of clerics is to first pick a faith. The type of cleric you'll be is often dictated by the nature of the god you're worshipping.
Worship Cayden Calen, you'll probably be a dex based, mobility using (the travel domain is a lot of fun), secondary combatant who can heal as needed, but doesn't only heal.
Worship Gorum, you'll probably be a full plate wearing front line combatant.
Worship Calistra and you'll probably be looking to manipulate the enemies with spells.
Worship Gozreh and you'll probably be doing nature and weather based controls (and blasts).
No matter what kind of Cleric you want to be, pick one you're comfortable RPing, and develop from there.
Of course, the tendancy's of a faith are guidelines only, but they can be helpful.
I just want to make certain that there is nothing wrong with this order.
I switched payment methods and I hope that didn't affect anything.
If it's ok I hope it's going to be shipped soon.
After the final fight I had a player who wanted to run back and deliver his message to his contact, is that allowed?
Or does it all have to be completed before the final encounter?
Thanks,
If you want to continue advancing your PFS characters, come to Gryphcon this weekend, March 4-6, in Guelph (shameless plug). Just down the road from Toronto.
Gryphcon.org has all the information anyone needs. There's also a lisiting of all the events here.
The advanced sign-ups are filling up but there is still lots of room left.
Hope to see some of you there!
Natertot wrote: Does an NPC at a 3 person table get a faction? The character I was using was part of the same faction. Originally I just had him grab the item because he would.
The other player didn't even know that he had grabbed the item. I gave him a chance to get it, he decided he wasn't going to so the NPC did.
The player wasn't going to get the PA for what the NPC did. It was only because the NPC died, the player of the same faction dragged his body out, and the adventure specifically stated that the owner would let players could keep items found that it all worked out.
It took a lot of things to fall into place.
I ran the Penumbral accords last night with an NPC because there were only three players.
One of the players decided he wasn't going to complete one of his faction missions because he considered it stealing and it was against his religion/alignment.
That was his choice and I thought it was pretty cool he took that stance.
However, the NPC was from the same faction and I decided he'd complete that part of the mission, though the player would get still not get the PA because he wanted none of the stealing.
Then the NPC died during the mission and it looked like no one would complete it.
When they finished the player from the same faction said he'd carry the deceased NPC out of the building. When they returned to report what happened he discovered the item and tried to give it back to it's owner.
She told him to keep it in thanks for all he had done.
So he completed the mission despite trying hard not to.
Evidently, some things are meant to be...

MoFiddy wrote: Hello everyone,
I'm going to run my first PFS scenario this weekend (Penumbral Accords) and I have a few questions.
I noticed that most of the rooms in the Blakros Museum have windows. What is to stop the PC's from going around back and entering the back room first through the window?
Can you see through the windows?
Perhaps I missed something when I read the module. How did other GM's handle the Blakros Museum in this scenario and the others.
Thanks for your help.
I described the windows as:
a) Made of distorted glass, so they let light in but you couldn't see through them (no free views into the museum)
b) Made of multiple smaller thick cubes of glass mortared together (so they'd have to be smashed through, and we're resonably tough), that didn't open.
I don't think you missed anything when you read the adventure though.
(Essentially they looked like the windows you often find in bathrooms)
So unless the PC's wanted to make a lot of noise and commotion (and had brought the proper tools) smashing through them, the windows were of no help to them.

Get in while you can!
I have a package that shipped on Friday. How do I track it once it leaves Paizo?
It was standard shipping, but I'm not sure who'd that be with or what reference number I'd use.
It's my unfamiliarity with the US postal service, if it was Canada Post I'd be ok.

Liz Courts wrote: Well...first of all, did you intend to order two copies of the Condition Cards?
If you did, I can move the one copy off of #1527831 and you'll still get the $10 off shipping offer with that order.
If you didn't, I can cancel the Condition Cards on order #1527831 and it will ship out (since it's not waiting for the cards anymore).
As far as pricing, you're shifting the cost of the cards ($9.34) from one order to another - the overall cost of shipping won't change very much.
Please let me know what you'd like me to do!
Yes I did intend to order two copies. One's a gift for a friend.
Let's do that.
Ship 1527831 ASAP without the cards (because I think the rest is ready).
And ship 1585787 with two orders of cards as soon as they come in.
Doable?
Hi,
I have two pending orders:
1527831
and
1585787
What would be the difference, cost wise, if I were to shift the GameMastery Condition Cards (PFRPG) from 1527831 over to 1585787?
Is it even possible?
My reasoning is, if I do this order 1527831 can be shipped right away.
Thanks for your time,
Matthew Hancock

Since this is the first time we're running Society we're a little uncertain as to numbers.
So we'd like to hear from anyone who plans on, or is thinking about attending, just to gauge interest.
Hi everyone,
This is Gryphcon's first year for the Pathfinder Society so we hope people will make the trip down to Guelph to make it a success.
All events take place in the UofG's University Centre.
More information, including pre-reg information, will be posted on the website soon.
We're trying to make this one of Ontario's biggest Society events of the year with the Shadow Lodge and the Special Surprise on Sunday.
Hope to see everyone there!

It was shipped out Sept 24th with 7-11 business days in transit. The 11th business day was yesterday. Although it is past its estimate, it isn't quite to the point where we might consider it lost. I'd like to give it another week or two to arrive as "missing" packages almost always show up after a short delay. In the meantime, you might want to check with your local customs/post office as sometimes packages get caught in customs.

Dig up the old Bloodstone Wars series of adventures (I think it starts at 16th, though they are 2nd ed), at the very least cheap PDFs are floating around.
Modify the location and let the PC's go. You will find some truly epic stuff in those adventures.
But like I said, there would probably be a bunch of conversion work.
