Each day Markolf jealously eyes the bile of the doppelganger. His hair begins to fall out, his posture growing hunched and deformed. His eyes bulge and his voice grows coarse as he whispers to himself.

"Yes, we shall takes the bile. While the pathfinderses sleeps."
"No! We cannot takes the bile! Pathfinders is friends!"

He makes a full recovery once back in Absalom.

As a move action, Markolf draws a scroll of Disguise Other. As a swift action, he consumes it for 1 arcane reservoir point. He then uses that point to effect a Powerful Change on Bull's Strength, which he casts on Senzo (the only one he can reach). He now has a +6 enhancement bonus to Strength.

It'll have to be the casters to avoid immediate Str death.

Linslo, Nym, Markolf.

"Good news! We're going to be just fine. We being the three of us noodle arms. You guys should probably kill them ASAP."

Markolf asks the raven if this was his mistress.

"Hey raven, was this your mistress?"

my brain is fried. is that DR / Magic AND CI or DR / Magic OR CI?

Markolf casts Protection from Evil, Communal from the scroll in his hand, then scampers around to touch everyone.

5 rounds.

"If I use it on all six of us, we'll only get about 30 seconds of protection each (assuming the minute/lvl duration can be divided into units smaller than minutes). Which is to say...wait for it...."

Markolf draws a scroll of Communal Protection from Evil.

"Pew pew!"
Magic Missile: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Markolf quick-draws a wand from his spring-loaded sheath, moves out of the aura of silence and readies a magic missile from the wand if the yellow morlock casts a spell.

Climb: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (7) - 1 = 6

Will Save: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (19) + 7 = 26

"Huh, is it just me or did it get very quiet up there?"

Markolf continue to relive nightmares about gym class.

Markolf looks woefully in his bag of tricks. He shrugs.

"I, uh...got nothing."

"Wait!"

Markolf draws a scroll of Bestow Weapon Familiarity from his Haversack, and casts it on Thighbite.

"Punch it, my friend. Punch that pudding."

Markolf shrugs. "Worth a shot. Nym, you got any juice left in that fire-stick?"

"Pound the pudding, boys. Pound it hard."

It's a pudding. Not the delicious kind.

Markolf takes 10 on Perception for 22.

Markolf's fleeting moment of bravery passes. He moves away 30ft, quick-draws a wand of Shield, and taps himself with it.

Markolf tip-toes next to Harnac and casts a Powerfully Changed Bull's Strength.

Harnac now has a +6 enhancement bonus to Strength for the next 8 minutes.

Fort save!: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

Continuing to throw caution to the wind, I will elect to use my reroll on that Fort save (+3).

Fort save?: 1d20 + 5 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 5 + 3 = 24

Markolf manages to cough out the gas long enough to cast Vanish on himself and move out of the cloud. Invisible for 5 rounds, or until he does something stupid.

Concentration check, if needed: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (1) + 15 = 16

Markolf spends a point from his arcane reservoir to move up to 70 ft using Dimensional Slide, ending up next to Senzo.

He casts Vanish defensively, targeting Senzo:

Are you including the +4 size bonus to Str for Senzo?

Senzo is embiggened. I think this will push two of the other nearby characters out depending on which direction he chooses to enlarge.

Markolf draws a wand of magic missile and fires at one of the priestesseseses (whichever appears more damaged to him).

As a Swift Action, Markolf spends a 3rd level spell slot to recover 3 pts of his Arcane Reservoir.

He shouts to Senzo, "Move closer to me, and you can reach them both!"

"Like, within 40ft away from me. Max."

"Just go right there," he points. X marks the spot

Markolf begins casting Enlarge Person it will be Powerfully Changed, for a +4 Size bonus to strength total, and will last 8 minutes.

Markolf's face lights up at Senzo's words.

"Please, I can only get so erect."

He stares longingly at Thighbite's eyes.

MEGAMARKOLF greets his pets sheepishly.

"The house was rigged to collapse. This Phitoness has a real scorched earth policy when it comes to home intruders. Can't wait to meet her."

Markolf draws his own wand, currently the size of a large tree branch and alternately taps Linslo and himself.

As they wait for the Infernal Healing to sew up their lacerations, Markolf eventually shrinks down to normal size and strength.

"I felt so...virile. I'm not sure I cared for it."

8 charges off his wand of IH.

"my bad..."

If he can, Markolf would like to take a move action to use Dimensional Slide (Su) to extract himself from the rubble.

If he can free himself thusly, he'll cast Bull's Strength and Enlarge Person, both enhanced with Powerful Change, to give himself a 10pt total bonus to Strength.

Then he'll dig out Linso, followed by Nym. With an effective Heavy load capacity of 600lbs, he can move 3000lbs/minute.

If he thinks he can get by with 875lb/minute, he'll nix the Enlarge Person.

Knowledge (Engineering) to determine strength needed, best of two rolls:

This will cost him 3 Arcane Reservoir points (none left) and another used of Investigative Mind (3/7 used).

Ooh! Can Markolf give the bird a message and send it to his pets?

If so, does he think there's a limitation to the length of the message? Or does it carry physical notes like a carrier pigeon?

Regardless, if possible, he wants to send a note to his short-legged companions indicating that they were at the hut and are now heading for the clearing with buildings, along with any relevant geographic markers.

Markolf Detects Magic, looking around the hut, and at the note in particular. If he doesn't detect anything of note (ha!) he will read it.

Maybe we should search her hovel before we leave? There could be clues. And I'm guessing scabies, too.

"I can summon us six beautiful horses to ride while we look for my pets. Or I can give this filthy slip the ability to fly to look for them from a better vantage point. Or both."

He looks at the filthy slip.

"No offense."

Markolf takes out his spellbook, finds the page containing Teleport, and draws a single line across the page diagonally. Then another, crossing the first line.

He returns the book to his sack and looks wordlessly at Nym.

Markolf sets a bottle of bleach next to Thighbite, then stands back to take notes.

Oh, and he taps the four teleporters with his newly acquired wand of Endure Elements*.

*Markolf would like to spend 2 prestige to procure a wand of Endure Elements.

Then he taps himself and Linslo. He also casts Investigative Mind and Heightened Awareness.

ETA: Scribing the following

Markolf casts Bull's Strength, extending the duration with his lesser metamagic rod of extend and increasing the enhancement bonus with Powerful Change.

Senzo, Harnac, and Thighbite each get a +6 enhancement bonus to strength for the next 16 minutes.

He marvels in appreciation at his work.

"Go, my beautiful pets. GO!"

"Oddly enough, the mountains will be cold and steep."

If Nym has Endure Elements and Spider Climb in his spell book, Markolf would like to copy them before we leave. Otherwise, he'd like to scribe them from some other rando wizard.

Why is your BS/CG +6--is that some specific bonus for you? I'm currently +2, so that level of bonus, or Rage, would both be a net +4 for me. I'd be eager to get Str boosted, with either (or both???) :-) Enlarge would also probably be good...I would take any of those 3 you wish to bestow, with thanks.

Markolf is a brown-fur transmuter, so he can boost ability score increases from spells an additional +2 by spending arcane reservoir points when he casts them.

So by spending 3 points, he could give you a +6 enhancement bonus, +4 size bonus, and +4 morale bonus.

First time we look likely to hit combat I'm planning to give the dorfs and gnome extended 'powerful' bull's strength and go from there.

Markolf, previously ignoring Thighbites chatter, suddenly grows interested.

"You want to be a chicken? I can make that happen. Let's talk turkey."
