Makkioz gasps in delight at the sight of the kami and desperately writes down as many observations as she can.

"Yes, I'm sure they'll be happy to hear that the spirit is at home now."

With the acid still sizzling on the skeleton, Makkioz gets to work on Haggra. She first feeds him the elixir she holds.

Once he's conscious, she uses her healer's tools to patch him up. Haggra notices that she takes a very clinical approach.

Makkioz moves over for a better angle, then lobs an acid flask at the smaller skeleton. As long as Haggra is okay with a point of splash!

She draws an elixir of life, in case it's needed soon.

Makkioz runs up and tosses an acid flask at the closest skeleton. Then she tries to remember information about the big one.

Makkioz cannot use the katana.

Makkioz feeds the elixir to Timtenzekil, as she rubs her head where the branch fell on her.

"All right spirits, it's time to stop this!"

Makkioz's knees shake a little.

"I'm not...I'm not afraid of you!"

Narrator: she was afraid of it.

Feeling nervous about the situation, she moves to Timtenzekil and draws a minor elixir of life. If we're within reach already, she'll feed it to him (1d6 hp).

Having helped someone, she feels a little braver.

Makkioz tries to weaken the haunt, using her extensive knowledge of occult phenomena.

"A kami! What a fascinating discovery. Yes, I would like to meet the kami myself! We will look for the thief."

She checks her notes from Haggra's possession. "Was this a fox-faced thief?"

Makkioz takes copious notes as Kooz and Haggra describe their experiences.

Given the importance of acid in the last battle, MAkkioz changes up her preparations a bit.

"Yes, we certainly should! Does anyone want to allow a spirit to enter their consciousness?"

"Sounds like acid is the preferred choice, then!"

Makkioz moves onto the platform, then draws and tosses an acid flask at Skeleton 2.

Makkioz takes notes on everything she sees.

A kobold with blue scales cleans her spectacles, trying to hide her shortness of breath after climbing the hill. "Quite the elevation here; I'm much more used to being underground. Kooz, I'd still like to see your notes from the Numerian class. It's always good to see what my colleagues are teaching."

She introduces herself to the others. "I'm Makkioz, also of the Hookclaw kobolds. I'm a mining engineer, and I teach classes. I've been lending my expertise on old engineering techniques to identify some of the artifacts that VC Li has obtained. There have been quite a few antique tools! I've also been brushing up on my Minkai history while I'm here."

She consults her notes, then prepares her tea in the appropriate local style.
