Well here is my character idea:
I would like to play a human Blackguard(Striker/Defender role). Blackguards are Paladin that have lost their way so to speak. I would of liked to of been part of the order of the Silver Flame also. My character was part of the more horrible things that order has done.
Quick Background on the Church of the Silver Flame: The Silver Flame is tied to the Nation of Thrane. Imagine a whole country livleihood that is based on religion and you will get the idea. Their tenets state that they are out to eradicate all evil. But who decide who is evil?
Anyways my character was one of the more zealous soldiers that carried out some of the darker missions. Eventually he was caught by another nation and to save face his country let them imprisoned him forgoing any knowledge of his activities.(Basically the Hitter gut from Levereage...Or Mission impossible I guess..but LESS crazy than Tom Cruise)
He was raised to be soldier and knows nothing else. He thought he was doing it for his country. Now he woudn't have much to hold on to. Revenge would not be in his motivations. He knows he did terrible things and still beleive in stopping evil in its tracks.
As for the Dragonmark I was thinking an Aberrant dragonmark. The Terror one sounds good! -1 to attack me whever I sue a daily power on an enemey for the rest of the turn.
