That sucks, cheers for coming Kristen.

I don't want to drag the party into a tier they aren't ready for, so if Kristen is playing and those levels are correct, I'll bring the rogue instead.

If Kristen doesn't play, I'll bring the cleric if folk are happy with that.

Hall of the Flesh Eaters works best for me. Preferably as my cleric, but I don't know if level 5 is too high?

I need Maeron elsewhere, but I have other characters I could bring.

I have a Merciful Healer cleric 5 I could bring, or a Rogue 2 that will be free at the end of the week. It largely depends on the scenario you had in mind?

Along with the others, Maeron returns the girl to her mother, ensuring they keep the ring. Upon returning to the Grand Lodge, return the ring to the Venture Captain and advise them of the deceased boys similar appearance to one of the Societies own.

Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25

Maeron examines the ring, sensing the magic within.

"Agreed. I believe this is both the ring we were searching for, and the reason for the girls good fortune. I believe this ring kept her alive while the power of this placed halted her aging? Were it not for it's darker nature, this could be a place of great import."

With the girl and the ring acquired, Maeron departs.

Maeron steps into the chamber, quickly checking the ghast for the ring they seek.

"We should complete our business here and leave. Whatever foulness taints this place should be reported to the Society before it seeps further into Absalom."

Despite his words, the druid moves to check the girl for the ring and looking to determine her cause of death.

Heal: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (2) + 9 = 11

+1 Longbow w/Point Blank Shot and Aspect of the Falcon: 1d20 + 5 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (11) + 5 + 1 + 1 = 181d8 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3

Maeron looses another arrow, the shot is good, but again lacks power.

What is with my minimum damage dice rolls?

Maeron Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (18) + 3 = 21

Tenderstump Reflex: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4

Maerons improved senses allow him to see the water coming, and he avoids the flood of water. Tenderstump fares less well, ended up somewhat over watered. Realising his companions fate, the druid instructs him to retreat before loosing an arrow.

Following his masters instruction, Tenderstump moves in and swings with a branchlike fist.

Maeron springs into action when he see's the undead, casting Aspect of the Falcon on himself to improve his archery ability.

Before preparing to open fire, the druid instructs his loyal companion to attack the ghast.

Maeron raises an eyebrow at the situation.

"I have been in a situation similar to this before. Tred carefully, the dead rarely rest easy. That said, I imagine the ring we seek is in one of these tombs."

The elf and his companion cautiously enter the room, eyeing up the sarcophagus.

Maeron and Tenderstump follow Vrald, taking a more forward position to allow their allies some respite. With a druidic whisper, the treesinger instructs his companion to guard the fighter.

With a somewhat delayed response Maeron responds to Jaegers question.

"I have yet to use any of my attunement to the natural world, for what good it will do us down here. In addition, my arrows are plentiful and Tenderstump rarely tires. We are both at your disposal."

"I agree. Give him some time, he deserves that."

Maeron urges Treestump on, waiting for his allies to progress.

"We should consider ourselves lucky these spirits are not aggressive or of darker intent."

The elf pauses for a moment to regard the images.

"Perhaps they are but a memory, kept alive by this place?"

Maeron watches his allies, looking somewhat perplexed. The elf had simply intended to open the door. Give how long this structure had been here he imagined water damage was the least of their concerns.

The elf looks down at the handle, briefly cocking an eyebrow as he does so. Quickly reaching into the water, the treesinger grabs the handle and attempts to pull the door open.

Comfortable that the threat of the bug has been removed, Maeron stores his bow and steps into the water looking to see what the arm is attached too.

Maeron draws a bead on the insect with his bow.

The treesinger instructs his companion to remain back for the moment. Not wanting to rush him into the water.

Maeron notices the arm immediately, raising an eyebrow.

"I do not mean to cause alarm, but there is a human arm in that pool. This bodes ill."

Upon saying that the Treesinger draws his bow.

"Should we make headway then my friends?" Maeron says, finally speaking again.

Tenderstump shakes his leaves, uprooting his feet from the ground.

I automatically pass that Perception.

Maeron eyes grow wide as he realises the situation.

"These people are no longer of this world. They are but a memory of the dead."

The elf shakes his head at the situation, saddened for the man.

Maeron nods respectfully towards Deris. Allowing his more talkative allies to introduce them to the man.

Just checking in. I'm still hear daily, just Maeron is not big with the talking.

Maeron remains silent throughout the meal. Feeling both uncomfortable and at a loss for how to correctly conduct himself.

After instructing Tenderstump to remain in the garden, Maeron heads inside with the others, ignoring the comment about him remaining outside. The druid appears even more out of place within the opulent wealth of the mansion.

"Whilst I sympathise with this woman's loss, I will not pander to her ego by garbing myself in different attire. My clothing reflects the forest and the natural world, for there is nothing more beautiful."

Ready when you are Baerlie. Sorted my gold and upgraded my bow to a +1 longbow.

I need to make a few purchases before we start, I'm just waiting on my chronicle sheet to sort it.

Maeron nods solemnly at the Venture-Captains request.
