From Denmark, im having the same problem.

So my group has just finished book 1, and I presented the citadel upgrades/downtime options, which they and I after looking at them more found a bit underwhelming. Checking the last book I found that only the defence upgrade ends up popping up, and the other books don't have expanded options for citadel related things. So I was thinking of offering more options for what they can do with it, depending on how much they are willing to invest in it. I have only just started scribbling ideas down, but I'd love some ideas, feedback or problems with them, or help with balancing them for cost.
