Meet Mach Star: once a devil-may-care noble-born son with a talent for music & good cheer, now a sorcerer with magical abilities mysterious in origin, even to him. He has no idea what to make of his new magic, and it frightens him.

I'm planning to try and make use out of Pathfinder's many touch spells--I wanted to build a mage that was decidedly different in flavour from most other casters.

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you guys, but I think I'm going to drop this campaign. I feel that the pace we're going at isn't fast enough for me, and I feel that I'm not really into dungeon crawling.

Mach steps forward and keeps the stabbing up!

Mach staggers backwards, bleeding, and stabs at the gold-coloured monster!

Mach has Electricity Resistance 5. But yeah... OW!

Mach's eyes widen and he snorts in disgust as he bears down on another ugly son-of-a-b$$$&.

Unfortunately, he misjudges his speed and misses completely.

Disable Device: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

Mach gets to work fiddling with the lock.

"Sure doesn't look like it." Mach shakes his head.

"...copy them down?" Mach gives Um'bala an incredulous look.

"Yes. Let's." Mach turns to delve deeper into the complex.

How long have we been down here, anyway? Feels like it's been months.

"Looks safe now."

"Alright--lemme try this again."

Mach turns to fiddle with the trap.

"...oops."

"No, just fed up with your b!*~**+#."

"Are you going to say 'please'?"

"Like completely fail at remembering names, for instance?" Mach tosses out as he moves past Petronicus.

Note to self--pay a visit to him in his sleep later.

He moves to explore the southern corridor.

"I did. If you want to try, be my guest."

"Well, we're not getting in this way. It's stuck or barred."

"East sounds fine."

Mach moves to examine the door.

Mach runs at the last one standing and tries to stab it.

Stab: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Damage?: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5

Mach shrugs and readies his weapons.

And when the beasties beat us to a pulp, I'll remind you that you said they weren't very dangerous.

Mach returns and explains what he saw. "Couple of waxy-looking things--moving in perfect time with each other. Carrying spears."

Might as well try the subtle approach again.

Stealth: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (13) + 11 = 24

"I'll go." Mach says as he goes to investigate the footsteps.

Stealth?: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (2) + 11 = 13

He promptly stubs his toe as he leaves. A harsh string of Abyssal invectives escapes his lips as he goes.

Mach just gives him a confused look.

"I think you were trying too hard." He hands the ranseur off and stands off to the side.

Mach nods at Milo and hops up to try and pull the weapon loose.

Strength?: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20

He tries sliding the weapon up and out of the statue's grip.

Mach's blades flash in rapid succession as he stabs at the maggot-beast.

Sneak Attack Damage: 1d6 + 1 + 2d6 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (5, 2) + 1 = 12

Mach's jaw drops as he sees the ugly-as-sin worm beast. "Eugh."

He then readies his blades and runs forward, hoping to catch the beast off its guard...

Mach rolls his eyes. "Someone want to stab him or heal his pet for him?" He whispers.

"Alrighty then."

Mach looks up from poking the dead cave fisher with his sword.

"So... should we take them back now?"

Reflex Save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20

Mach steps to the side and lets the dead creature fall down.

"Hey! No no no--you put that man down right now! You have no idea where he's been!" The tiefling chastises the cave fisher before shooting at it again.

Mach shoots the creature again.

"What's all the ruckus abouuuuoh my GOD!" Mach finally looks up and sees the weird monster on the ceiling. He drops his weapons in surprise, yanks out his bow and takes a shot!

Which skips off of the ceiling and almost hits him instead.
