Hello.

So, per both the Core Rulebook and the following link:

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/magic/all-spells/c/cat-s-grace

It appears Cat's Grace is not for Clerics.

Is this intentional?

I'm mostly curious as to the reason the ability to increase one's dexterity is only in the domain of Bards, Druids, Rangers and Sorc/Wizards.

Cheers.

Hello.

A ruling came up from our Game Master (GM) in regards to the "Favored Class Options" pg 23 in the recently released APG.

When presented with this for a Sorcerer I'd planned on making, the GM was rather disturbed that some classes got this and all Wizards got was additional spells in their spellbook.

He was quick to point out that it was hugely unbalanced if permanent abilities were gained by the other classes and Wizards (and Witches) only got them in their "potentially destroyable" spellbooks (or pets).

He apparently did not appreciate the comment I then made to explain my impression of balance behind these options, as "Well, I suspect that destroying a spellbook or Witch's pet isn't as common as you might feel it 'should' be. Kind of takes away from the fun, you know?"

This was the only thought I could whip up in the quick talk.

Has anyone any insight as to what makes these optional choices "balanced" so I can argue the point clearer, or on the behalf of the fine developers of this amazing game system?

Please let me know.

Cheers!

Hello all.

I'm relatively 'new' to the Pathfinder system, and need some assistance from the experts and creative types on here to come up with a spell list of sorts, as well as perhaps advice for a new character.

First and foremost!

1) 25 Point Epic character, base stats are 8 & Human race. (I have a set of stats, but welcome to see other thoughts.)
2) The end plan is to: Sorc + Dragon Disciple (no variation at this time)
3) Upbringing and training is from the Arabic type setting (but not specifically Pathfinders "Qaidra" location.

Thus...

I'm primarily aware that the Sorcerer + Dragon Disciple combination really isn't a 'good mix' but, I really want to make it be as 'pure' to that as possible. So please try to focus on suggestions with that in mind.

The biggest question I have is:

1) Should I be more melee minded, or can it work to be pure-er caster minded, with the eventual "switching into a dragon".

If you have any suggestions for spell lists and the like, our game is looking to start play at 5th level characters (i.e. he'd be lv5 Sorc).

Any advice is welcomed with regards to stats, spell list choices, or 'style of play', but please realize-- no changes in class (yet).

Thanks in advance!
