Lyall's eyes brighten considerably at the prospect of working with Arkon again, and does not hide his enthusiasm all that well. "Farewell gentlemen, it has been.. an eventful journey with you all. May we meet again at the center of the world. Or some other such poeticness." Lyall doesn't seem all to sincere, but not altogether insincere either. Which for him, is a pretty good first step. Lyall departs.

Lyall is a bit too anti-social to join One who is Many, and far too self-proud. I'd prefer for him to receive a call of "We need specifically a wizard of your talents for *blah blah blah*" to give him an excuse to leave. Now that we're not mid action scene, I'd like to bow out.

*thud* Lyall at this point feels no choice but to express his feelings via application of forehead to doorframe.
"Does wheat have some less lease on life than trees in your book? Are a thousand short lives less valuable than one a thousand longer? Could we compromise, I don't know, by making a garden around and in the fields at certain points? Make the prettiest farming field ever made?" "If I were you lot, I'd be worried that said wrath would fall on you as well for losing the garden to a dead man. I mean, how long has it been since he took it over, and you're only noticing or doing anything about it NOW? The trees are already dead, and barring a LOT of diamonds and a VERY potent druid, I don't see that changing."
"The spot of bother being that he is dead. Anyway, I'm wondering what you lot hope to gain if a jabberwock is released. Wouldn't you all be very dead too at that point?"
"Uh, it's her land by weight of the fact that she has tens of thousands of soldiers that can come and crush you guys. A small band of fey against an entire country is... dumb."
"If it's right under their lawn, you may have to deal with the fact that there's no way you'll hold it very long against the city of humans nearby. You'll simply be slaughtered by those less merciful than us."
Lyall moves out of the entangle and casts defending bone on himself, taking attention to not look at the nymph after noticing a few blind themselves.
Lyall will cast Bull's Strength on Achren when he has another turn. How Lyall knew Achren wanted Bull's Strength, and what their plan was, is a mystery for another time.
That is not my particular specialty, but I can bull's strength whoever you decide to invis.
"And compared to fighting dragons in a city of molten gold, you really don't even begin to compare." Lyall casts named bullet on Haakon against the Nymph, just in case.
It's been a good run, and I've enjoyed my time here, but I feel the desire to back out and redirect time/energy elsewhere. Next good stopping point, I will be bowing out.
"Sigh. I picked the wrong day to stop preparing fireball." Lyall actually says the word sigh, rather than actually sighing.
"No kidding it's related, you nitwit! If this happened every Tuesday, we'd be prepared for it!" Lyall seems even less personable than usually.
"Aren't those fey folk generally of the good alignment? Not generally akin to trying to trap people in burning buildings?"
Lyall swiftly attempts to dispel the flames. "A water elemental seems well in order..."
"All this skullduggerous chatter... I'm afraid the perilous inanity of unhelpful folk will be our undoing when dragon's teeth could not suffice the task."
"Then, perhaps you have leverage on one Qali? He knows, but will not tell us for fear of those responsible." Lyall disregards Jbade's, to Lyall, irrelevant question. Especially considering he had already forgotten who Khoyar was.
"Indeed, we're almost certain we know the faction behind it, but we simply have no leads as to their location. If we were to defeat them, then the Sun Orchid Elixir would be returned to go back to the auction once more."
"Good lord, the amount of enormously unhelpful people in this city is enough to understand why those of my profession so commonly chose to dash it all and launch a fireball."
"I'm afraid my tastes are rather specific, and we're on a mission. If we need to wait, we will have no need of assistance amusing ourselves." Lyall's lip twirls up slightly in a hint of a sneer.
"Certainly."
"Indeed, which is why he was useless to us. We'll need to find leverage to gain anything useful from him."
"Oh, boy, so you're just going to tell us what we already know. Fine. I suppose we'll sweep the streets yelling, 'Boy, I really looove Razmir, it'd be great if someone let me know where I could find other people who love Razmir.'"
"Because if we don't have any better suspects, us Pathfinder hounds will have nothing better to do than howl outside your window at the moon." Lyall commented with a snarky smile.
"Well, now I'll ask my question again. Do we know who knew about the plans to be resurrected?"
I already suggested mine, if anyone thinks it appropriate.
"I can't help but feel that question will be useless, but, I hope to be surprised." "I might suggest the question, 'Who knew about your contingency plans to be resurrected?', thoughts, gentlemen? I think we might figure the answer out to that one just by asking around, but, if we've got nothing better to ask." Lyall's tone gives the suggestion that he said gentlemen because he wanted to sound fancy, not out of respect.
"Well, it'd practically take a goddess of prophecy to time something that perfectly." Lyall raises an eyebrow.
Lyall rolls his eyes, obviously not respectful of this church, but he is also smart enough to remain silent.
"Hmph." Lyall maintains an air of being unimpressed, walking in with his nose well and high.
"Perhaps a summon? That would explain why only this area caved in."
"Of course, none of that happened once I joined." Lyall gives a loreal hair fwoosh of self confidence.
"We're pathfinders who infiltrated a city of gold without a man down. You're safer in our company than here."
"How about the fact that we are a group of people uniquely prepared to help make him UN-deceased?" Lyall glares at the guard for several moments, his voice seething with distaste. "... I am not a necromancer. If that last statement left you a bit iffy." Lyall adds as an addendum.
Lyall flips a coin into the air.
After glancing at the result, he says, "Oh yes, quite, let's talk with the family."
"Hah, the Gods feel it necessary to butt into our affairs all the time, I see no reason not to extend them the same courtesy."
"Fair enough. I just we aren't so effective in this realm as to invalidate the need of such an interesting field trip. We seem to have such a tendency."
"Oh my, a visit to the Boneyard? This shall be rather entertaining."
