Thanks for the response and yeah I got the Bestiary 2 book with all of my other subscription books. And today I was charged for a order I placed a month ago and they added the second adventure path book in that order with out the discount :( So posted in the CS forum. Hopefully they can help me out and get this sorted...I’d rather not spend even more on shipping. :/


Question on the order, just starting the Subscriptions. For the first order it only has the first of the two to start with books. Both of the books in each of the subscriptions are out I believe. So just wondering when I would the second books would be sent? (I placed the order last Friday and nothing has been updated to shipped yet. So more or less just wondering how the Subscription will work going forward) Thanks!


Yeah I knew about the hindu shuffle. I was just ranting in the effect I don't like being forced to do new a different way then I'm used to just cause of bad printing or components in general. :) I really do hope this gets fixed. For the next game.


I'll be blunt here. I can overhand shuffle properly. I was the poor soul in school that would practice card magic.
Done properly its not a series of cuts.

That said yeah I understand what you are saying, but I have always shuffled this way to make my cards last longer.
I should not have to do anything different when cards should just be the same size.
That and the suggested way to solve this issue is just way to much extra work. Having to tap the cards to get them flat on the edges...what?

I guess my point is...I hate that a game so fun and well designed has very very bad components. And that is what is going on with this game right now.


I had commented on the cards being smaller in the forum for the Char Add On forum. I had said that it may not be a big deal.

After playing a few games....i can say with out a doubt...it is a HUGE deal. I shuffle hand over hand. And as was stated before, stripped cards for magic tricks are made JUST like the smaller cards we have. So you can not really shuffle unless you take the time to do a table or some other time consuming way.

As this game has you shuffle a ton, i get a pet worried that the smaller cards are not getting shuffled right.
Doing any extra work to do something as basic as shuffle is out of the question.

With that said....the game is awesome. But i can not suggest anyone getting it unless the cards are fixed. The cards are the main aspect of the game. And if they are not made right it hurts the game. Fix them for the next people that get the game. I will not be getting any more decks other then what i have now. ! and 2. Ill prob take out the char add on as well. Sad cause i enjoyed 2 of the new ones a great deal.


Just started playing and got the char expac. First thing i noticed is that the box opened on the side where as the two adventure decks i got are open on top. Then seen the cards are just a fraction smaller! But looks like that is with good cause. Glad it is doing well enough to have it made in the US...sucks my cards are slightly off. But ah well.
Great game. And hope all the issues that are coming up with this set will be fixed in the next one!!

Still in awe about what was just said, he shoots up upon haring the noise, getting ready for the worst, he holds his marked hand in front of his face and mutters a prayer.

"We need all the help we can get. Take his chains off. We can start thinking of what we can do. Have to find a way off the island. And going inland may be our best option. First things first though. We need to finish setting up our base camp. Night is going to come in soon, and i dont want some critters comeing up and bitting us as we sleep. Any ideas how to stop that from happening?"

Side note i did make a check to see if i could find tracks back on page one, and with a roll of 29 nothing showed up.
And luther can also purify all food that comes into camp, i prepared that spell as well as the water one. So we will have fresh water all the time and the food we will get will be clean and healthy.


After Luther prays for a hour and gets his spells sorted out (summon water! :D) he is going to try to do a few things as others are busy with the boat and what not.

Im going to go up to each remaining NPC and try to talk them in to cheering them up a bit and get them to help us out.

All rolls are Diplomacy checks.

After I finish talking with them ill do a Survival check seeing if i can pick a good place for a fire and base camp, build a fire there, and start looking around for items that i can use for the building a shelter.
Keeping a extra eye out for containers that could hold water. (Of what, after i have the container i will summon water into them to give everyone water to drink.)

Not sure if that would be one roll or two so ill give you two.

Going to try to get the NPCs to raise there moral a little bit so that maybe they will be more chatty and help us out.

Im not sure how your going to do the non combat parts with skill checks and what not, but i would also like to do a Survival check for two things, weather, and to see if i can follow the tracks before they get washed away.

Seeing as it is a man that fell out of the box Luther gives him a strong look trying to see what his next move will be now that he is found out.
