Liberty's Edge

Guess what ? I just went to Freeport and it's run
by Lupins. I going to be staying a while and
and having a few (or not so few) bowls to drink
to celberate.

Been a loooong time since I read those, but it might have been in one of the original trilogy adventures, or a web enhancement from green ronin's site (series was called Focus on Freeport).

EDIT: Found this on EN World

I believe they were left deliberately vague so that GMs could fit it in as they wanted to. Bu no, no city stat block in the book that I've seen either
There should be a size of the city though. Just go through Cityscape and you should be able to figure it out. I would personally make each district it's own little sub-city.

Thanks. That one thing i needed.

Now what else do i need... ( starts looking through spell book).

Liberty's Edge

I don't know but i hope it's good. The reason i say that is
i just got the book Freeport: City of Adventure and its
very good. I don't know why i didn't look into this
setting sooner.

What about a ranger. You could use it to play off
his rudge vewpoint. I say rudge because he has to
respent his god or he lose his powers.

Liberty's Edge

Cats! We don't need no stinking Cats!

Liberty's Edge

Thanks. Now I'm off to build my Lupin City.

(Big Grin)

Liberty's Edge

I Don't know if this the right place but i going ask anyway.
I making a city for my campan. The trouble i'm having is
firging out the NPCs for the city. In DM 3.5 it gives
some tables on how to do it but i was wondering if
there is something easly out there. Thanks

Liberty's Edge

Pardon Me for being dense. But is it 3.5 or 4.0.
Eagering awating a answer.

Liberty's Edge

I came up with a god for the lupins.
Acturally I came up with a number but this one is
the leader of the Lupin Gods.

Simgar.
Greater God.
Symbol: Battle Axe in front of a Shield.
Home Plane: Brightwater.
Alignment: Lawful Good.
Portfolio: Lupins, Loyalty,
Protection, Family, Community.
Worshipers: Lupins.
Cleric Alignments: LG, LN, NG.
Domains:
Favorted Weapon: "Warwolf" Battle Axe.

Any Feedback or ideas would be helpful.
Be Honest. I can take it.

We Lupins are very easy going. :)

Liberty's Edge

I was wondering if anyone out there is making up any gods
to use in the Pathfinder game. I have a idea or two.
Anyone else ?

Liberty's Edge

That's a intersting fix.
I like it but there still a problem.
In the Pathfinder Companion she's a
Bard 6. In Shadow in the Sky she a rogue 4.
Which one is she.

I was really glad they finaly put something out on Greyhawk.
It left me with a couple of questions. Most of them tie-in
with the questions in the Chamber of Seven Secrets in the Guide
of Wizardry and can wait. What i was really wounderng was if
any one knows the nine gods that Zagig captured. The only ones it said in the book was Iuz and Zuoken. Anyone out there know?

This is from memory so don't quote me:

Iuz, Zuoken, Myrlund, Daern, Johydee, Kelanen, Keoghtom, Wastri, Al'Akbar.
On Canonfire - a web site dedicated to Greyhawk - this list is debated because there are two lists published for D&D with two or three missing from both list. The nine demigods are supposed to represent a single primary alignment: LG, LN, LE, NG, N, NE, CG, CN, CE.

I would just create your own choices as long as you keep in mind they all must represent a single alignment. Unless you want canon material, get researching on.

Thanks. Now that i got a idea what kinds of gods were captured i can run

with the idea in my own way.

I think lupins would be a good race to work into Pathfinder.
I even have a idea of how they got there.
They got a vision of a strang and magical land
across the ocean and so they set ships over there.
I have Brimewall as their Capital and Crystilan as a
temple/monasteri to their gods.
I also have a large number in Riddleport who are
indepent of their goverment. The rest are scattered
across the land. I thinking about haveing them
tied to the Runelords but that still up in the air.

Any feedback on this idea wecome

I think the wizard class needs to be completely revamped. As is, it just doesn't live up to its name. For some reason, D&D wizards have always been based off wannabes like Merlin and Gandalf. But if you mention wizard to the average person on the street, what do they think of?

That's right! A giant head and a man behind the curtains! The Wizard of Oz!

The Pathfinder wizard should have his own little curtained-off chamber and a sound system allowing him to boom phrases like, "I am the great and mighty Oz!" Only then will a wizard truly be a wizard.

Now, about munchkins...

And the wizard will wield a great deal of might, vulnerable only to pissed-off pigtailed Kansas farm girls.

They easy to get to get around. You just get a Kansas farm boy. Then you tell him he has to distract her. And let nature take its course.

Any who can pull off puns like that is all right in my
book. Your really on the the ball so to speak.

You want to join the tribe.
We could use a new sage/jester.

Speaking of lycans how about a race that that can shift
from a animal (winter wolf) to human and back.
They would be like lycans but their born with
it and can't infict other people with it.

Thanks.

(I would to make have winter wolves as a PC
race with the above condition.)

Any help would be very helpful.

Thanks for the info. If like you said they make the new setting
easy to digest I have just one thing to say. Lupin has left the building folks. I got enought books to last me the rest of my life
already. Nothing says I have to buy 4E. We a cautious race,
us lupins. :)

Liberty's Edge

I read the preview book a couple of days ago. After reading it i was
left with a couple of questons. 1.I thought 4E was susposed to make it easyer to play different races. But they said in there they were going to get rid of a lot of the races. What gives. 2.They said they were going to get rid of gnomes and add tieflings and a type of lizard man (forget the name).I dont get the reason for that. 3. They seem
to be tying all the races and classes into this new setting they came out with. What happend to giving us the information to make our own setting. If this means I have to buy new source books too I wont learn it. If this means I am out date so be it. I buy the books for ideas and flavor not to be told what i can and can't do.
