”Getting some of the more trustworthy locals to surreptitiously investigate and keep watch wherever the military is not. The enemy likely has many eyes on the military and it’s movements, as well as on other high authorities. So getting some locals to look into things discreetly have a better chance of being in the right place at the right time to find something. Of course, I’m hardly a tactician or a leader.” Luile speaks calmly, as if discussing tea or something.

”I’ve always lived among the elves, so perhaps I am simply too used to it to be amazed, but it is indeed beautiful.”[b] [b]”But I am here on a serious task. Some foresight says that Cormanthyr’s total destruction is nigh. My companions and I were tasked with investigating why, and if possible, averting this doom. And upon our arrival to this town, a demon worshipper openly admitted to such right before she attacked us in her own shop, with nary a provocation. We were thinking that some measures should taken if the enemy is so brazen.” Luile says calmly, and in elvish as an obvious native speaker, though her accent may seem unfamiliar, or perhaps that is just because she is a kobold.

I’m back. I let the DM know in another game of his that I’m in, but I didn’t really go around to every game to spread the word, so I’m sorry for that, but I was unexpectedly taking double work shifts, and being fast paced physical labor work, I was barely functional for awhile. Heck I just finished 12 hours straight of sleep, literally. In any case I can start keeping up again. Next time, don’t be afraid to bot me if needed, I don’t want everyone else being stuck waiting because I’m dealing with real life.

The inn’s door swings open for a moment, but you’d have to look down to notice the one walking through it, a short kobold, looking winded but proud as she walks in starting for the bar before she changes course as she notices some of her companions talking to a stranger. ”Hello, sorry to break in, but these are my companions and I’d like not lose them again. They seem apt to rush off in the middle of things. I’m Luile.”

Having caught up, and seeing the date of the last post, I’m just going to have Luile catch up to everyone where they are now. Also, GM, how’s the purchase of Greyhawk coming? I noticed wotc is putting it in the 2024 DMG, and that sounds like either a big obstacle or a big boon for you.

Kel, 4 ranks (or with pf1, 1 rank plus the class skill bonus), is basically equal to a bachelors degree in said topic. So I would say you know more than a little bit. It’s also the reason I dislike pf1 doing class skill bonus like this, as it removes all the knowledge levels below a bachelors degree for class skills.

Smite Evil Longsword: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (12) + 7 = 191d6 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8 Luile rolls with imp’s attack and swings her gleaming longsword around to strike at the imp with all the force she can muster, which is far more than what one would expect from a kobold, much less one of her size.

Luile wonders what makes this librarian so confident, and figures that either the librarian is actually a very experienced combatant, or has allies nearby. Thus, Luile looks around for places her allies might appear, or that she might run through to escape, and moves to block such a path if she finds one, otherwise she hops up to the top of the shelves.

"You have not given any compelling reason to serve Bane, and no servant of the divine is worthy if they serve merely out of fear of death." Luile says, still calmly, as she draws out a very fine blade, as blue as her own scales and glowing. "Threatening me with death is not a wise move, plus I have companions. Your only chance now is to surrender."
F Kobold Pal1/Sor4
"Never said we would even try. But I find it odd you would be open about being a traitor. The people here are just perfectly happy to have an enemy running their library?" Luile asks, keeping things cordial, not looking to start a fight just yet, especially since the lady seems rather nice and cordial herself so far.

"We are in the middle of town. What, you think there are hidden guards waiting to just kill anyone that gets close? They probably have half of all people that pass through here show interest in it, just out of curiosity." Luile just strides up to the building openly, looking for any sign that it might be a shop or workshop of some sort. If it seems like a public building, she'll walk inside, otherwise she'll knock on the door.

"Are there cheesy jokes as well?" Luile asks with a grin as she digs out her waterskin for a drink.

EltonJ wrote: "That sounds great, although why is a kobold traveling with elves?" asks Alaion. "Actually I was raised by elves. From what I've read, kobolds take special eggs like mine to mountaintop monasteries to learn how to fly and make use of our wings. But a few elves ran into some goblins that apparently had killed whatever kobolds were taking my egg to the mountains. One of them kept my egg out of curiosity of what was in it, and I hatched on their way to the city. Thankfully they didn't kill me and instead raised me." Luile replied, cheerfully telling her tale.

"I see. I myself am learning enchantment as well. I even enchanted my blade myself, though there are still more enchantments I'll be adding to it." Luile says with pride.

That's saying that every elf is a 10th level character before reaching adulthood, which would mean that every elf is a 10+ level character, except us. Which also means that we are not only not heroes, but that we are the retarded children that couldn't keep up. I mean I'm fine with whatever, it's just one of those plotholes I notice easily.
