Arcane Reservoir (Su): At 1st level, the exploiter wizard gains the arcanist’s arcane reservoir class feature. The exploiter wizard uses his wizard level as his arcanist level for determining how many arcane reservoir points he gains at each level. This ability replaces arcane bond.
Exploiter Exploit: At 1st level and every 4 levels thereafter, the exploiter wizard gains a single arcanist exploit (see page 9). The exploiter wizard uses his wizard level as his arcanist level for determining the effects and DCs of his arcanist exploits. This ability replaces arcane school.

ARCANE EXPLOITS & WIZARD DISCOVERIES
------------------------------------------------------------
Dimensional Slide (Su): The arcanist can expend 1 point from her arcane reservoir to create a dimensional crack that she can step through to reach another location. This ability is used as part of a move action or withdraw action, allowing her to move up to 10 feet per arcanist level to any location she can see. This counts as 5 feet of movement. She can only use this ability once per round. She does not provoke attacks of opportunity when moving in this way, but any other movement she attempts as part of her move action provokes as normal.
Quick Study (Ex): The arcanist can prepare a spell in place of an existing spell by expending 1 point from her arcane reservoir. Using this ability is a full-round action that provokes an attack of opportunity. The arcanist must be able to reference her spellbook when using this ability. The spell prepared must be of the same level as the spell being replaced.
Potent Magic (Su): Whenever the arcanist expends 1 point from her arcane reservoir to increase the caster level of a spell, the caster level increases by 2 instead of 1. Whenever she expends 1 point from her arcane reservoir to increase the spell’s DC, it increases by 2 instead of 1.
Alchemical Affinity: Having studied alongside alchemists, you’ve learned to use their methodologies to enhance your spellcraft. Whenever you cast a spell that appears on both the wizard and alchemist spell lists, you treat your caster level as 1 higher than normal and the save DC of such spells increases by 1. Additionally, you may copy spells from an alchemist’s formula book into your spellbook just as you could with another wizard’s spellbook. You must be at least a 5th-level wizard to select this discovery.

INVESTIGATOR ABILITIES
------------------------------
Alchemy: 6 level caster, Int based, Alchemical extracts, +4 on Craft (Alchemy) checks.
Inspiration (Ex):
‘Lo has an inspiration pool of 7. As a free action, he can expend one use of inspiration from his pool to add 1d6 to the result of a check. An investigator can only use inspiration once per check or roll.
The investigator can use inspiration on any Knowledge, Linguistics, or Spellcraft skill checks without expending a use of inspiration.
Inspiration can be used on attack rolls and saving throws, 2/use as an immediate action.
Trapfinding:
An investigator adds +4 to Perception checks to locate traps and Disable Device checks. Can use Disable Device to disarm magical traps.
Ceaseless Observation (Ex):
‘Lo uses her Intelligence modifier instead of the skill’s typical ability for all Disable Device, Perception, Sense Motive, and Use Magic Device checks. He can also use his Intelligence modifier instead of Charisma on any Diplomacy checks made to gather information.
Unfailing Logic (Ex):
‘Lo has a +2 insight bonus on all Will saving throws against illusion spells or spell-like abilities that allow a save to disbelieve their effects. In addition he can spend one point from his inspiration pool as an immediate action to use his Intelligence bonus instead of her Wisdom bonus on all such saves for one round.
Trap Sense (Ex):
At 3rd level, an investigator gains an intuitive sense that alerts him to danger from traps, granting him a +1 bonus on Ref lex saving throws to avoid traps and a +1 dodge bonus to AC against attacks by traps.

INVESTIGATOR TALENT
------------------------------
Infusion:
Benefit: When ‘Lo creates an extract, he can infuse it with an extra bit of his own magical power. The extract created now persists even after the alchemist sets it down. As long as the extract exists, it continues to occupy one of the alchemist’s daily extract slots. An infused extract can be imbibed by a non-alchemist to gain its effects.
Expanded Inspiration (Ex)
An investigator can use his inspiration ability when attempting Diplomacy, Heal, Perception, Profession, and Sense Motive checks without expending uses of inspiration, provided he’s trained in the skill.
------------------------------
RACIAL ABILITIES
------------------------------
+2 to One Ability Score: ‘Lo gets a +2 to Intelligence due to her formal training.
Orc Blood: Half-orcs count as both humans and orcs for any effect related to race.
Darkvision: Half-orcs can see in the dark up to 60 feet.
Overlooked Mastermind: Some half-orcs use half-orcs’ brutish stereotypes to their advantage, causing others to underestimate their intelligence and scheming. Such half-orcs gain a +2 racial bonus on Bluff, Diplomacy, and Sense Motive checks. This bonus increases to +4 against other humanoids. They also receive a +2 racial bonus on Bluff checks to feign ignorance and Sense Motive checks to intercept secret messages, and this stacks with the above bonus. This racial trait replaces intimidating, orc ferocity, and weapon familiarity.
‘Lo is the half-orc bastard daughter of Loretta Munte, wife of ex-adventurer Jonathan Munte. Raised as a proper high-society lady, the nature of her bloodline has lead nearly everyone to reject her.
‘Lo, despite the nature of her birth, is considered by her father to be his firstborn daughter, even though he is not technically a father. An ex-adventurer who married into nobility, he loved her and cared for her, and fostered the interests she held, telling her stories as she went to bed about his history of adventure. His wife, Loretta, loved Loreli, teaching her the ways of high society, and hiring the best tutors.
In time, she grew into a lovely young lady, taking to her teachings like a fish into water. As she grew older, her father saw a talent in her that she wasn’t taping. HIring professionals, he found that she could delve into the arcane and the practical with an ease that he could only have dreamt about when he was young. With a pace that startled her tutors, she grew to be a clever Wizard, with a silver tongue and magic with ease, along with a competent alchemist,
Soon, she was placed into service in dealing with the other wives, aiding her mother in traversing the higher echelons of society as she was trained from a young age, startling people. People talked about the brutish woman who played at being a lady...
Days passed where she couldn’t help but sob. She knew she was damned to never be accepted. She knew that, with the recent birth of her brother, she would never inherent anything. She would die a unmarried, unloved maiden, forgotten and cast aside, left to rot in the corners of society, if she would survive to that day where her family ties slowly faded.
Her doting father saw the sorrow she felt. The knowledge that she would be abandoned, ignored, and that all her work would be cast aside for how she was born, even among the Wizards, even among the Alchemists.
One day, her father pulled her aside: He knew what she felt, he knew that feeling of sorrow. He knew that she would never be accepted in society. He passed her his Longspear. It’s worn and ragged, what was once a bright red staff grey with grime and patchwork color.
“Go. You’re a mighty mage, Loreli, no matter what the others say about you. I can’t help you in society, and I can’t sway their minds. But I can offer what I do know: Out there is a world full of adventurers, people from all walks of life. You’ll find yourself something wonderful, a future that you can’t fight otherwise. You’ll find respect from the people, and might just earn the respect of those blasted nobles.”
So they armed her. Gave her what she needed, and what she wanted, and sent her off. A young woman, both scared and excited.
Appearance and Personality:
A beautiful purple bonnet adorns her head, with the latest in Magnimar’s style adorning the half-orc’s form, covering nearly everything but her face, which is a mild shade of green with slightly oversized incisors, filed down to a more acceptable size.
