None of which applies to that site...

If you scout around on Google Images some of the other pics seem to be from 'Legend of the Five Rings' and possibly Magic the Gathering cards as well.

I think Jade Regent might work well for a solo AP. Swap out Ameiko Kaijitsu (the main NPC) and replace with your wife's character (or get your wife to play Ameiko) and you could have the makings of an epic story on your hands.

You might need to tweak a few bits here and there but honestly I think the AP would make more sense with Ameiko as the main PC hero anyway.

Cheers

I think it could go in either direction, but there's a dev post in this thread that confirms it flows eastwards on that section.

Book 6 (of 6) expects PCs to hit level 15 before the Final Battle.

You should really double-check that your GM will be following the official advancement guides though. Otherwise anything goes.

If they want to play Pathfinder with OP characters then let them.

It's a valid playstyle and can be fun now and then.

And then when they get bored of steamrollering everything in sight then you can get on with playing the game with more balanced stats.

Wouldn’t surprise me if this happens to most groups.

Or maybe it's time to take a little break? I worry about doing that because we have such a good steady game-night going.

Bear in mind that ‘taking a break’ doesn’t have to mean ‘breaking up the group.’

Ask if someone else wants to have a go GMing a couple of low-level ‘one-off’ adventures (eg ‘We Be Goblins’ or whatever) just for a change - or even have a go at a few board games for a while. Then come back to it after a few weeks fresh and ready for more RotRL.
