Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
Look like everyone is converging on the tower. Sinh delayed his turn so he is now on the same initiative as Man Drake. This should help keep the fight simple.
Initiative:
Man Drake - 19
Risen Fate - 18
Timeline - 17
"Lord Sinh" - 11
Joe - 9
Wild Fire - 4
Man Drake takes a moment to recover (his turn for last round) and attempts to break his immobilizing bonds!
STR Check:1d20 + 14 - 2 ⇒ (5) + 14 - 2 = 17 DC 22
Man Drake roars in frustration!
"Lord Sinh" addresses the heroes: Simpletons! Meddlers! You cannot even follow simple instructions! And now your dear companion will pay...the ULTIMATE price for your incompetence! You can't stop me! My hovership is protected from even your teleportation tech, Dr. Nile! No one can stop me!
The armored room Sinh is standing in ejects through the tower ceiling and sprouts hoverjets! It is completely enclosed and about size large. The underside mounted Laser Cannon aims at the furthest Cryo-Pod. Archy must be inside the fifth pod! He is out of actions this round or he would have opened fire on the cryo pod.
Ok it is your turn guys.
Wild Fire sees the door to the inner chamber (where RF and Joe are currently) has been destroyed in the fall and reveals the scene above.
Timeline ports into the tower room and summons a tank around himself and Joe.
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
To clarify the above post: You did take damage (and are dazed for this round) because the tar guy hit you. It was the secondary impact against the wall you ignored.
Lord Sinh motions to "Tarwin", You incompetent imbecile! He was barely restrained! And now you've woken my experiment early.
He places a frustrated hand to his forehead. Go and place him in the holding cell along the far wall. He motions to one of the five large cryogenic tubes along the far wall. All of them are open except for the 5th one in the corner. It seems to be in use although you cannot make out the form inside. He'll be less lively once we get him on ice. And in case you cannot read, his is the third one from the left. It was built especially for him by our mutual...friends.
Our intrepid heroes walk up to the door to Sinh's lab as if they were Captor and prisoner. A recessed full body scanner reveals itself along the side of the door and begins scanning...
ERROR!...Subject...non-living...ERROR!
Red lights flash and the alarms sound. You are dead certain you've just been discovered when the alarms turn off abruptly and the door slides open.
Lord Sinh is furiously stabbing at the control console for the door with one hand while holding his other hand to his ear, a half-forgotten set of surgical scissors gripped loosely. Of course he's non-living you micro-brained micro-comp-process-o-matic!...Gah! Machines!
He stomps back into the laboratory area clearly wishing you to follow.
Joe:
You do not see Lord Sinh at all. Instead you see a be-spectacled Arab performing all of the actions that are described above.
Inside the laboratory itself is a clutter of surgical supplies, empty ghoul-skins, and one enormous vat of foul-smelling bubbling tar. Oversized alembics filled with muti-hued fluid hang from the ceiling, feeding directly into the sludge below.

Joe:
...PPPAAAAAIIINNNN!!!...
The voice in your head screams in agony as the fortress' remaining engines attempt to compensate.
...MMMAAAAAKKKKKEEEE..SSSSSSTTTOOOPPP...
The first floor of Lord Sinh's tower houses his construction laboratory. Neatly shelved in this refrigerated chamber are numerous body parts perfectly preserved. A dozen half-completed ghouls hang from metal hooks from the ceiling. Several metal slabs function as worktables complete with surgical equipment.
A set of stone stairs on the far wall spirals upwards...
DC 15 Investigation/DC 20 Perception Check:
Numerous footprints crisscross the room but one set of fresh prints catches your eye.
They catch your eye both because this person was not wearing shoes and because the size indicates the person was slimmer, probably female. Petra perhaps?
Joe:
One particular object in this room strikes you as odd. It looks like a giant coffee machine from the future. It sits innocently set into the back wall of the castle and has a strange distortion aura around it. It seems to be humming away happily, it's myriad of blinking lights chasing each other along the cylindrical length.
Strange that Timeline hasn't commented on it yet.
Lord Sinh's voice echoes down to you from another floor...
Welcome to my Sanctum heroes, I trust my pets have made their introductions? I due hope you've caught my ninja by now or...well let's just say your museum director is about to become...HISTORY!

Stage 1: The Monitor Room
Hazard: Some poor fool has left a pile of treasure and an overturned airport luggage carrier admist the rubble of this large Deathtrap Monitoring Station. A high-powered laser-grid security system has also been activated in this room by Lord Sinh.
Hazard Roll:DC 15 Power/Dodge Check.
-Failure: You mistime a jump or turn and get hit by a laser. Make a DC 25 Toughness Save.
An image of Lord Sinh appears on the 269" widescreen monitor in this room,
How do you like my latest creation? He is the last of the ancient Dragon clan, a master of the ancient ways of ninjitsu. I changed him, removed all those human fralities like emotion, honor, and aging. Behold, Tarwin, the Wind of Death!
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
Timeline teleports...and finds himself inside the secret passage stairwell but unable to see the Ninja.
An image of Lord Sinh appears inside the dungeon room.
Tsk, tsk, did my ninja manage to snatch the artifact from your clumsy grip? Well I suppose since you won't be returning the Heart yourselves I have no further need of your friend, Professor Archibald?
He waves his hand and an additional image appears of Archy strapped down on an operating table, a ceiling-mounted laser scalpel aimed at his chest. He has managed to lose his other bunny slipper.
With a wicked grin, Lord Sinh continues to gloat...
By all means heroes, chase my ninja. It will be a wonderful test of his abilities. Oh, and Mr. Nile, to prevent your further interference in this test I will be activating the Quantum Interdictor device my newfound associates have loaned me. Quite handy, this technology. I have been led to understand that at it's current setting, it reduces teleportation range to a mere fraction of it's former amount.
He thumbs a glowing orb in one hand and the field activates across the whole of the castle grounds.
Just to make things interesting, I will track each of your's progress on the screens located throughout the castle.
I suppose if you do manage to best my newest creation, I will spare the life of your friend...provided you still return the Heart to me.
Hero Point awarded to Timeline for teleportation restriction. Your teleportation ranks for all Teleport powers (not summoning) are reduced to rank 1 (60 ft.)

Timeline:
You turn the truck into the fan's path building up speed at a ridiculous pace. At the last second you teleport the entire fan and fan assembly away...only to have it reappear in the same location after a short delay!
Congratulations on figuring out one of the ways to "bypass" the trap. This one is mildly resistant to teleporters as it can be zapped back into place but only after about a 3-4 second delay.
HERO POINT awarded for complication of Re-assembling Trap.
Make a Vehicle Check DC 25 please to determine if the truck makes it through ok. Failing means the truck is torn in half by the fan blades (potentially damaging the fan blades as well). Failing by 2 degrees or more means you will be potentially hit by the fan blade in which case you will need a Dodge check or get hit by the fan.
Timeline, on the other side of the Fan Blade you notice a small activation console recessed into the far wall (~60 feet away). The wind tunnel continues for about 100 feet before dropping away into empty space, you can see a nearly full moon shining down upon a quaint countryside. The castle must be on a cliff or something overlooking the valley.
Lord Sinh appears briefly again. There are noticeable deep grooves in the wall behind him. You needling newt! You nearly destroyed half a year's worth of reagents! Just for that, I will be resetting that teleport trap. Good luck getting home, sweet, home!, he sneers.
In the background you can make out what appears to be a veiled oriental with a katana kneeling at Sinh's feet. Sinh gives him a command, извличане на сърцето! убие натрапниците, ако имате да, но не се счупи капака на Петра! before the image disappears.

Timeline:
You and the truck full of goodies find yourselves inside a smooth, box-like room with reflective and extremely smooth surfaces that are polished to a mirror finish. At one end is the largest fan you have EVER seen.
An image of Lord Sinh stooped over an alchemical laboratory table pops up.
Huh? Oh! the heroes have finally arrived. Took you long-
Lord Sinh's sentence trails away as he sees you...and only you.
Wha?! How?! I don't... He rubs his forehead with two fingers trying to massage away the building headache. Every time I use minions they get it WRONG.
He looks directly at you. Enjoy the afterlife, you meddlesome miscreant. Now I have to get your friends myself. The image winks out.
The fan blades begin to turn faster...and faster...the truck is already beginning to slide towards it. Deathtrap time!
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
Once again, an image of Lord Sinh appears before you. The image stares blankly into the distance. It would appear to be a magical message triggered by your arrival. It speaks it's message with the sarcasm typical of the villain.
Ah, the heroes have returned! If you would be so kind as to deliver the Heart to me in my laboratory we can begin.
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
The cloaked visage of Lord Sinh shifts it's gaze to Risen Fate. The Heart of Darkness is an item of terrible power ripped from the form of a Dark One near the dawn of Time itself. It's form could be nearly anything from a house to a housecat. Luckily one of you...
He points a clawed, metal finger at Wild Fire. ...has unlocked the Secret of Sight. She should be able to determine what item it is simply by it's aura.
After Joe peppers him with questions. A god? How amusing. I suppose my power would seem godlike to an insignificant ant such as you. You may call me God if you wish. Know that my wrath will rival that of your Almighty should you fail to procure the Heart. I can also assure you I have no interest in mere historical knick knacks nor pursue them as a profession.
He seems to lose his patience at Joe's question about the distraction. Enough prattling! I thought heroes leapt into action whenever they could? I have placed you in the bowels of Izzak's keep. You should find the Heart in his throne room for he never likes to be separated from it for long.
When you have obtained the Heart, have the Darjekian speak these words: Shelzar...Transistus...Amicitus. That will summon my portal for you to transverse. You will work quickly if you value your friend's life.
with that final warning, Lord Sinh's image flickers out of existence leaving you once again in the dark. Each of you notice it is very warm inside this room.
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
Know that you are in Abastion, the 7th Circle of Hell. You will procure for me the Heart of Darkness, an ancient relic of the Dark Ones.
It is currently in the possession of Demonlord Izzak, a powerful fiend of the lower planes. Luckily for you I have created a...distraction that should lure Izzak away from his throne. Once you have the orb I will reopen a portal for you to return home. If you fail I will not only leave you to the tender mercies of the Demonlord but I will also end the life of your pitiful Professor Louvre.
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
I think the Being in the Doorway is getting hungrier...
The Eerie Fog lifts revealing your new location to be inside a cellar. A very dark, very warm cellar. It is of medium size with a single stone staircase leading up towards a door. Crates, barrels, and sacks are stacked in organized piles along the walls.
A ghostly image of Lord Sinh appears before you.
You're finally awake, good. Now if you dullards can pay attention for more than a few seconds I have a proposition for you.
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
Joe digs furiously into the loose soil and is able to find a tree root to hang on to. He watches as one by one his camrades fall into the gaping portal to...elsewhere. That is when he feels the foot on his hands.
It is futile, creature.
Professor Dela Ruse is standing on the slope above Joe unaffected by the sucking winds of the portal. He is no longer dressed in ill-fitting university attire but rather a dark robe with arcane symbols embroidered in the hem. A large green-black stone hangs from his neck emitting a weird iridescent glow (not the Eye of Cthulhu, this is somthing else).
That portal you see before you is a link to another world. Another world just waiting to be exploited. Now you and your "friends" will explore it for me. I had intended to simply suck in your patron...
He points a ring-adorned finger in Archibald's direction.
...and lure you in elsewhere, but this will work just as well.
A black bolt of unholy energy leaps from the sky at Dela Ruse's command striking Joe and separating him from his tenuous hold on the tree root.
Go forth and do my bidding! Lord Sinh commands you!
And Joe is also sucked into the Dark Portal
Hero point awarded to Joe for his Divine Weakness complication.
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
Yes, yes you fool-headed boy now it ees time to reveal the mysteries of the great Cthul- errm the Great Pyramid!
DC 20 Perception:
You notice Prof. Dela Ruse retrieve a small hand-held object from his inside pocket. You swear it could have been a greenish stone of some sort.
Prof. Dela Ruse thrusts the Eye of Cthulhu into the projection of the moon. An absolutely blinding array of colors bursts forth. The colors assault every sense you have: sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. The colors shift between all of the known spectrum and into the unknown, colors so alien as to make your mind shudder from their absolute wrongness.
I need SANITY checks from everyone in the room. Your SANITY is equal to (10+AWE)x5. You roll percentile die (1d100) and you are trying to get equal to or UNDER your score. Failing this will make your character's life perhaps more interesting and more crazy but won't kill you...at least not right away. If you continue to pursue lines of investigation of the Cthulhu-esque nature in the future, you can expect more of this kind of check. Both semi-beneficial (such as the Eye) and harmful (Dark Ones anyone?).
Dark Sorceror-King of Viskonia [Bruises=1; Conditions: Staggered]
I haf told yoo pepole not light, moon-light. Specifically, de light of de fool moon during a high altitude electrical dee-sturbance. What ees also known as a blue moon. Eet so rare it almost nevah happin. Boot you say this...this ball can produce it so I agree to speak at your partee. Then de whole place coom down on your head. I warned yoo Prof. Louvre that thees relic is a curse to those who respect not it's power.
As he speaks, he holds it up to the light of the study lamp and a scintillating pattern of light plays along the walls of the room.
See! It weeshes to show us some-ting! Boy, where ees this light you promise?
